Most servers are polite and helpful. One, however, gave us hella attitude that we walked in when they opened at the 1045 and they weren't ready to serve food - they were still working on service prep. We stood at the counter, waiting patiently when she rudely said she didn't know why they unlocked their doors (at 1045 which is their opening time) when they weren't ready and why we just didn't take a seat. DoorDash Support I was in Chipotle of Danville Virginia. I spoke to the front manager about my order for Amber and she told me it was being started. I waited close to 15 minutes when a staff member approached me asking who I was waiting on. I again stated Amber. They got hostile for some reason and told me I should've said something sooner. Then she proceeded to say to her manager... she only been here 2 mins and didn't tell no one she was here... I said that isn't correct I've been here 12 minutes waiting and I spoke to the manager. I ordered a burrito with Guacomole and paid online. Enroute, I recieve a call from Ashley, who I presume is shift manager, explaining they are out of Guacomole, an additional $2.05 and they will not be able to refund me since it will take away from her profits. Instead I will have to call corporate and request a refund. I suggested a compromise where she could provide me with a side of nacho cheese as replacement. Again she said she had to protect her profits and there was nothing she could do. She was very unhelpful as far as customer service goes. The "manager" at this location is awful. She obviously hates her job and hates anyone asking for anything. She left out the chicken (you know the main part of the meal) off of my child's kids meal and got angry when asked if we could have vinegartte with our meal. Terrible!!!!!! Danville, VA Chipotle gave my coworker an empty quesadilla box. When she called to explain and to see if she could pick up her quesadilla(she had paid for and pretipped online) they hung up on her. I drove back to get her food and was immediately verbally assaulted and accused of walking out on the order...btw why would anyone just walk out and leave food??? The manager cussed, screamed and embarrassed me in front of customers who had no idea what was going on. One staff member threatened to settle this by going outside to "beat my @ss". Chipotle in Danville, VA. needs to screen their employees better for higher standards of customer service. My recent visit along with some of my friends experienced the same rude, unfriendly, dismissive attitude from a cashier. My first warning sign should've been the unfriendly look on her face and her attitude while ringing me up while clicking the counter with those 3 inch fake finger nails. Chipotle needs to seek recruitment and training advise from Chick-fil-A, where the experience and service is always positive. Went for dinner and there was a huge line, which is fine and I decided to wait. 3 young men come in and break in front of me to join the people I am behind. One asks if I wouldn't mind, that they are part of a college team. I say ok, but I went back outside to wait for the team to file in. After a few minutes no one else has gone in and I decide to go get in line again. So I end up waiting in line about 30 minutes and the line behind me grows exponentially. When I reach the counter, the woman behind the counter yells and asks for all members of the team (who just came in) to all get in front of me. I question her and tell her that is not right since I have now been waiting almost 45 minutes. She said that was tough and they were doing a fund raiser. I told her there was nothing posted that they were only serving certain people and she rudely dismissed me, interrupted me and said I was of no account. It is fine if an event was going on but I should have been notified, BEFORE I waited 45 minutes, that I would not be addressed until ALL from the team were done, even the ones who came in 30 minutes after I arrived, so I would have known what I was getting into ahead of time. She told me she did not need to do anything of the sort and told me I could leave. This was very unprofessional and she made me feel as though she could care less about my patronage. Well I have visited out of town Chipotles before and it was decent. After visiting this one I think I'm done with chipotle. My chips were soggy and too salty and my chicken bowl was thrown together. I can't believe that the service was so different on my second trip to this Chipotle location that I actually returned to Yelp for an update. My fist experience at this location was during the afternoon and it was great, however on my most recent visit I was met with a few issues. Upon arrival I was not greeted or told anything, I stood there for about 5minutes waiting for someone to take my order while one employee was cooking on the grill, and three employees were having a conversation towards the back of the kitchen. Finally they finish their conversation and I am greeted with "hi, just to let you know we ran out of cheese." I reply "that's ok" as I continue my order. The employee begins to place my meal in a togo bag as I say "oh no, I'm actually eating here" she lets out a deep sigh as she tosses my side of guacamole onto the counter towards me. I also ask for a vinaigrette and the employee lets out another sigh as she slides the sauce container across the counter to me. The food is always great hence my three stars, but some customer service trainning definitely needs to take place for the staff that was working Wednesday March 24th around 8PM. read more

Chipotle is a top tier popular restaurant for sure, but this location in Danville is abysmal and clearly not accustomed to this type of establishment. I recommend you not waste your money by eating here, so to condense everything into two points for the sake of time: - They will give you minimal portions, which are horribly imbalanced and way off. You will not be filled after your meal, and you will have to call them out when they give you a prisoner's portion of rice and a slave's worth of protein. Yes, what you are given is that minimal. - The crew absolutely struggles to listen and accurately assemble your order. Your burritos will fall apart after the first bite and your bowls won't even be moderately filled. I'm too scared to get a taco because if they struggle to fill a bowl can you imagine how skimpy a taco would be? At this point even months after their opening, and I know this rural area is not used to a restaurant like Chipotle, it's clear they need more staff training and general support in assembling their meals. If Chipotle corporate is reading this, I implore your intervention in this location before it is too late.
