My daughter and her friend put an order in to go and waited nearly 2 hours for a $30 order. When they asked about their order there were words exchanged and then they refused to give her and her friend their order and offered no refund. Myself the mother went up to talk to them about a refund and was told that they would have to get the refund on the app. Once my daughter and her friend left I was getting ready to leave and one of the female workers came out and proceeded to say some nasty things in regards to my daughter and her friend. I asked her if she was referring to the girls sitting outside and she said yes and I hope you tell her that. I followed her in and told her had they just served the food it would have never came to this. I proceeded to ask for a manager or stated I would call the cops and a manager was available. I explained to him that this is not how you keep customers coming back and what the worker did outside of the work place was not necessary. Very young ignornat workers in this workplace and most likely need some training on customer service and how to do their job. I have never been here till tonight and I won't be coming back. I wish I could state a single positive comment, but this was the worst Chipotle experience. Online order submitted at 6:53pm for a 7:30pm pick up. I did not receive my order until 7:49pm. I arrived at the store at 7:24pm. There were several patrons in line for normal in-store ordering, understandable for a Saturday evening. Checked the online Pickup rack, which was empty. The only person waiting before I arrived for online pickup was a DoorDash driver, who apparently had been waiting for quite some time. At 7:32pm, it took 8 minutes after walking in, 6 employees behind the food bar, for an employee to acknowledge I was standing there. The cashier asked if I was there for online pickup, asked my name, looked at the line of customers waiting to start their order and said, it will be five minutes. Five minutes passes, I'm watching for someone to start my order, and instead watched as two couples and a gentleman - who walked in AFTER I arrived for my pickup, we're served at the main order line and paid, before my online order was prepared. What's the point of online ordering. It would have been faster to hop in line. No apology, no thank you- 19 minutes late and she just handed my bag to me, and started on with the next customer. To add on to my frustration, after leaving the restaurant and 5 miles down the road, I realized they had left my son's chips and salsa. Which I returned again to pickup. My son's chocolate milk was also placed under a chicken burrito- which made it hot by the time we arrived home. If this store cannot provide online ordering as its intended, the option should be removed. I'm normally a tolerant person, I understand things happen, but the fact not a single employee apologized to the DoorDash driver or myself for the delay, was surprising. Instead they seemed rather Annoyed and inconvenienced there were online orders to be picked up. We've always enjoyed Chipotle Nationwide - but the last few experiences at this location, have been nothing short of frustrating and the customer service is sub-par during high-traffic times. Maybe we've just had bad timing lately with busy hours, but after today, I highly doubt we'll be back to this store. read more

VERY unprofessional, jade or jayda had rushed through her process and not to mention didn't wash her hands after changing gloves for the third time . Was asked to rewrap a burrito that she definitely slopped together because she was too busy mean muggin the lunch rush and listening on her air pods at 1:45/2pm on 7/17/22 . Highly recommend retraining, coming from a former subway manager. The only reason they're getting one star is because you can't leave a review with zero stars. This place has gone down hill in the last several years, the current state is pathetic and should be closed down. I've watched countless managers come and go over the last ten years or so, and with each new manager, the place gets worse. Now you don't even see the manager, the manager doesn't come out to help when the place gets backed up, the manager doesn't get employees to clean the tables, take the overflowing trash out, or clean the restrooms more than once a week. Food Service Sanitation is worthless if your employees put gloves on, them mess with their hair, their face, their clothes, their phone, then touch your food. Yesterday after getting my food, I threw it in the trash and walked out. Why can't we give 0 or negative stars? Hours say closed at 10, but they close around 9:30 everyday. They are incredibly rude. Cant get food that you ordered through online ordering. I've always been kind, tipped, and left. However, how kind can a person be when you walk in and the people throw their hands in the air in aggravation that they have to make you food. It's their job... They have yelled at people, called names, and given wrong food and refused to fix it. This chipotle sucks, but it's the only one in the area so i kill with kindness. Let me start on a positive note, the food is good just like any other chipotle. I am a huge chipotle fan, I have ate at them all over the U.S., unfortunately when it comes to service this location ranks last. The people filling the food orders never have a smile on their face and never seem happy to be there. You can just feel the morale in this location is low. When I ask for more of something it seems more of an inconvenience. On the plus side, the people who are at the cash register are always happy and are respectful. The people who fix your food are the first people a you come in contact with, so they set the mood for the experience. If this location could work on improving customer service it would be a 5/5. read more

Went to the Belleville location, around 5:30 and there was only one couple in there. As we got in line a worker called out that she needed pans of beans and rice. I went to order food and the rice and black bean pan were so empty that I could hear the girl scraping the bottom of the metal pan trying to get enough rice out of there. I questioned her about maybe it being dried out and hard. Her reply was no. And the beans were the same scenario. Needless to say the rice was hard and dried out. I am not sure why she didn't wait for fresh pans. I even said to her that here are fresh pans now. But she had already dished up my rice. And she had nothing to say to my comment. I thought this was very rude. I know if she were going to make her own meal, then she would not use what she just served me. I will not go back again. read more

One of the best burritos I've ever had, hands down. Reasonably priced, fresh ingredients, humanely-raised meats, foil-wrapped and weighing at least a pound...what more can I ask for in a burrito? Finally, there's a healthy, socially- and ecologically-responsible fast-food option! I can't wait to try a burrito bowl thingy. Mmm...and the delicious burritos are F'ing HUGE, brah! I could never finish one, I'm sure, but I will continue to try. The chips, salsa, sour cream, guac, soft tacos, and cilantro-lime rice all taste incredible individually, let alone combined...probably because it's all REAL and it's FRESH. Service was spectacularly fast, friendly and on point. Menu easy to navigate. Oh, did I mention, they serve BEER? Yay! No beverage can wash down my burrito better than a cold brew. However, upon searching for the recycle bin to discard my bottle, I found none...WTF?!? Why do you have no recycling bins, dear Chipotle? My love affair with Chipotle began many years ago back in Colorado Springs. I can remember my first time walking up to the counter and ordering the behemoth burrito and the satisfaction I felt once I had consumed every morsel. I wish I could say I felt the same awe and satisfaction with my latest trip to Chipotle, but alas I cannot. While I watched with horror as my burrito was being made, I could not believe how skimpy they were on the rice and beans. So often I've witnessed excessive amounts of both of these items I could not believe what I was seeing. I think my last Taco Bell burrito had more rice in it than my last Chipotle burrito. I was relieved that they were not equally skimpy on the chicken, cheese and salsa. Once I reached my seat I commented to my friend and he too was a bit surprised with how little rice and beans he received. Now as far as the food goes, what I did get was classic Chipotle and very tasty. I will readily admit that their menu is smaller than their main competitor in the area, Qdoba, but I will not hold that against them. I kind of look at that the same way I do when I think of In n Out, in that you don't have to have an extensive menu when what you do have on your menu is great. Luckily I did not experience the rudeness that Desiree Z. experienced and I can say that they were all quite friendly and polite. Luckily, I've not had this problem before at this particular restaurant, so I'm hoping it is just a new employee and not an indicator that I will need to avoid this location in the future when fulfilling my burrito cravings. For sure I will return to make sure that it was an isolated incident, the burritos are just too good to stay away forever. Their burritos deserve 5 stars, but I just can't dish out a rating like that for this location. read more

Rudest experience anywhere. I eat my burrito bowl with tortilla chips instead of a fork. Kinda like a dippin' pleasure. I'm also picky about my toppings and can only tolerate so many bites with hot sauce, though I love hot sauce (well, at least medium hot sauce!). So, I get the medium (green) sauce on the side and use it sparingly through out my bowl experience. I get to the register and order a bag of chips. "no salsa, just the chips". The guy bagging holds up the "medium" sauce and says "so you don't want this". "That's not salsa, that's hot sauce. I eat my f*ing bowl with tortilla chips, is that okay with you? or do you have a problem with that?" He and the cashier rudely glance at each other with a "side" look that says "yeah, right". I couldn't believe how rude that was. That look plainly said to me "liar, you gonna dress those tortilla chips with that hot sauce like salsa, bitch" So, I called them on it. They comped my meal, but I will not return to this location EVER. Such a shame because I really love Chipotle, but there a so few location in the metro area. Maybe some of these young peeps should learn a thing or two in regards to body language and eye contact and how it affects the guest. This Chipotle is unbelievably stingy and loads your burrito or bowl with very little food.. My husband and I came here tonight for a quick dinner. Chipotle is one of my favorite quick options for food and I'm about to ship out to basic training so it was supposed to be a treat before I leave. My order is always really simple... burrito bowl with brown rice, chicken, mild (pico type) salsa, and lettuce. That's it. Well, they were completely out of the salsa. Great people, but I'd like to say a few things: I used to love coming to this place, but when you're in a hurry and always see a huge line when you're waiting for food can be a bit frustrating. Last time I went to this place, I was a bit shocked on how stingy they've gotten with their portions.. I suggested a bit more but I was told there would be an upcharge, so I accepted the charge. $15+ for a burrito and a water? Ordered online for pickup. Order was ready on time. Picked up order and checked it and noticed it was missing an apple juice. Told employee about it. She told me I didn't order one and then walked away. She came back out and I showed her the receipt and the phone screen shot, and she silently handed me one and walked away. Got home, then noticed the kids quesadilla had chicken left out and both kids bags of chips were missing. Called and spoke to the store manager. She said we had to contact the customer care center and there was nothing she could do besides replace it. We asked for a refund or store credit because the order was as right as it was wrong. She said we had to contact the customer service line. I am unsure what the store manager does if she cannot help customers with refunds or store credit after an employee was already rude to me. I know during this time wearing mask is annoying and I can completely understand being a worker in the food industry wearing one, how hot it could be and uncomfortable. However, on 5/03/2020, I witnessed a customer asking the employee who was on the burrito warmer end, to please put her mask on. The worker that was operating her food had her mask on, however it was not covering her mouth or nose area, she had it down to her chin. When the customer was ordering the employee gave her an attitude. The employee didn't say anything to her but gave the woman a disgusted look, lifted the mask up but brought it back down to her chin again and put another pair of gloves on. The women was upset about this, which is understandable and didn't want to buy food. She asks for the manager and he comes to the front to speak with this woman with his mask on his chin as well. He started arguing with the customer about all his employees wearing a mask when yes indeed they were, however there was one employee, him included that did NOT have the mask on fully. (So why wear one and place a sign on the door that says customers can't enter without a mask)??? It's just mind blowing and I feel we need to be sensitive to others especially when dealing with people's food. Being a manager myself that manager did not represent great managing skills. That poor woman had to ask the employee to put on her mask, (she got attitude), went to talk to the manager and got attitude there as well. It was just disappointing to see and I'll probably not go back until this whole epidemic is over. read more

It's weird that I read reviews that include comments about bad customer service, because I have never experienced anything bad at this Chipotle location. (Okay, maybe one or two unruly children, but it's not the company's job to keep kids under control) I admit, I eat here a lot. So much so, that a few employees know exactly what I order when I arrive(I don't know if that's flattering or embarrassing lol). I am usually greeted when I come in unless they're very busy, and when I get up to the glass to order they are quick and efficient. I get odd toppings (I like rice in my hard shell tacos) and they are always more than happy to oblige. When my food is being prepared the employee serving me clearly states which options I have when assembling the order, asking questions like, "Carryout, or dining in? Hard shell, or soft shell? Chips and a drink, or neither?" As I pay for my meal I am thanked and when I leave I receive multiple "goodbyes" from the employees. Since I eat here so often, it's obvious that I think the food tastes great. The value in my opinion is good too since I get 3 hearty, healthy tacos, chips, and a soda for $12. I also think the staff is very friendly. Once, the ice machine was broken but they set up an ice bucket with a scoop so customers could still have cold drinks. Another time there were no lids when I was getting my drink, so I mentioned it to an employee and the issue was immediately remedied and I also got a sincere apology. The restaurant is always clean, with workers wiping off tables as soon as they're done being used. Even the women's bathroom was clean when I had to use it. Although I was just there last week, I'll probably be stopping back by soon. read more

Great food with this chain however this one must have been told to buckle down on portions. I ordered steak tacos and one scoop of steak was spread across all three tacos. One taco literally only four cubes of steak on it. I asked if I could have the more meat and was told I would be charged double. My tacos were able to be rolled up like little cigarettes from the insane lack of toppings provided (cheese included). Just confirmed my loyalty to Qdoba going forward. Very slow service when we went. The line snaked back and fourth inside the store and out the door. The meat portions were extremely small and the servers behind the counter have clearly been instructed to divvy out small meat portions because they really focused on it. And the food? We ordered a couple pork and chicken burritos and a bowl, and it was a bland experience. So much bland white rice, and so little anything else. The salsas were also terribly salty. We also ordered chips and salsa and it was so salty, it was inedible. I promise you, that I'm not picky. It was that bad. I'm not really sure why people rave about this place, but I'd much rather have real Mexican burritos. This is about as gringo as it gets with the exception of Taco Bell. read more

To begin with they ignored me when I walked in, I stood in front of them for good 5 minutes before they even acknowledged me. Now that usually is not a big deal to me, But what was worse was that they were cleaning around while she prepared my burrito, when I told her she I had another ordered she whispered something to her coworkers and gave me a dirty looked. She wiped the counter with the SAME GLOVES she prepared my second burrito. The burritos were not prepared properly, they were all ripped apart and she just continued to fold them in the foil. I did not get her name but she was a heavy African American woman. Healthy and delicious fast food that is socially responsible and reasonably priced. I would eat here more if it was closer to home! Staff is friendly and accommodating to individual tastes. Decor is simple but clean and slightly industrial. I feel like they may have changed their margarita recipe...little too sweet for my tastes now. I still use the original chipotle patron margarita recipe at home. I have not had a negative experience at this or any other chipotle...my food has always been delicious. Thank you! read more

We visited this location on 5/2/21. Not sure where to start. The place is filthy dirty. The counters, tables, floors, windows and bathrooms. Not forgetting the trash blowing around the patio. The bathroom was beyond a health hazard. There was no sign of a cleaning in quite some time. The toilet was something I've never seen before. The sink beyond disgusting as well. The floor had not been swept or correctly mopped in who knows when. There were signs of mop marks on the floor obviously with a filthy mop. There was not a clean spot to sit in the entire place. The floors are filthy. The windows haven't been cleaned in recent times. The forks are behind the counter and the same lady who takes the cash grabs your fork and hands it to you. So my point is how can the food and work areas be what they should be let alone during this pandemic! Is the food handled properly in this dirty restaurant? I called to speak to the manager and basically his concern was how often I had been there. Obviously one too many times. read more

My wife and I's love affair with Chipotle continues in Fairview Heights. Same amazing Chipotle as the others but they do tend to skimp on the rice, however, if you just ask them for more rice they are happy to accomidate. They recently raised their prices and axed the military discount which kind of sucks but nothing could make Qdoba better than Chipotle! read more
