They take far longer to make your order than other locations they also skimp when making the orders

Absolute joke of an establishment. Told me right to my face they were out of chicken as I saw him cutting the chicken right behind the counter. Then the person right after me got fresh chicken. I confronted them and they told me to "chill out". Horrible customer service and they are always out of something. Also it's always a mess in there, random trash and food everywhere. Avoid this Chipotle. Drive across town to a different one. This one is constantly out of key ingredients, like guacamole. They are understaffed by incompetent people who don't know how to operate a Chipotle. I watched one guy literally pull all the weight for three other people who were incapable of doing their jobs, while 9 people stood in line. The chicken was left to burn unattended on the grill for 10 minutes while we stood in line trying to get our orders through. I then watched the one competent crew member take the long-ignored chicken, now basically CHARCOAL, and put it into the bin to be prepped for serving. Disgusting. The grill looked so dirty. I just feel compelled to share my last dining experience at Chipotle and my last time eating Chipotle because I will never eat at Chipotle again. My wife and I have had a sort of tradition or habit if you will. We live in Fergus Falls, MN. and we don't have a Chipotle where we live. So, everytime I have to fo to rhe Veterans Administration (VA Hospital) we stop at Chipotle and place a big order to bring home since it's about an hour and a half drive. We order the same order everything we go there. We get 9 Tacos with steak + extra meat and 3 burritos with steak + extra meat and of course toppings. Plus we usually get 2 large bags of chips and 4 containers of salsa. This time and the last time we did not have any chips ready so, we skipped them. Our average bill is around $54.00. Spendy but it feeds us 2 days and it's Chipotle so, we splurge. I walked in to Chipotle and I was the only customer which I loved because I always feel like I'm rude by placing such a big order when it's busy. The guy that greeted me was visibly in a bad mood, I ignored it and was just extra friendly hoping to break his shell. He kind of told another guy to come and help him. The guy came over and was just as grumpy if not more and it became extremely obvious that they were both upset with each other. You could cut the tension with a very dull knife and It became very uncomfortable. I asked for extra meat on everything and as I watched then make it, I koticed it was the same amount of meat that it is when you don't ask. I didn't say anything because at that time I just wanted to leave. A family of 5 came in behind me . The one guy did a hard and loud sigh and said just barely loud enough to hear " Ugggh.. Great.. more". The guy that did the toppings was slower than the guy that pressed the tortillas and did the meat, beans and rice so the tortilla and meat guy comes over while saying "God, could you be any slower?". He started helping fold the tacos and burritos so I would leave and they could get the family out as well. Inforgot his exact wording but this was close as it was loud enough to hear. The toppings guy bagged it and was ringing it up. He finished ans said $94.xx. I said excuse me? Again he said $94.xx. I was polite but said their must be a mistake and I explained that we are there everyone I have a VA appointment and we order the same thing everytime. He snapped back and said "I rang it up right, all the other's were probably wrong". Then he snapped back my order at me and I started getting upset because I was nice the whole time and I didn't deserve to be talked to that way. I said well I didn't get the extra meat like I asked and now the tortilla/meat guy came over saying "Yes you did, the prices went up after Covid and our portions got smaller". And walked away. So I said "So ordering extra meat gives you the regular amount it used to be and the prices almost doubled?" The guy said "Yup, looks like it". I paid it and said "Well, Chipotle lost us as a customer ". He said "OK great" and went on to the family. I feel like this should be advertised somewhere about the smaller portions for more money. I'm a disabled veteran. That was a weeks worth of groceries to us. Of course I felt like saying "That's too much" and walking out but they already made everything and bagged it and I was on the spot and would've felt even more embarrassed and I also have to add that the meat was the fattiest meat we've ever had. So, now I figure I'd just email my experience and then I'll share my review with Yelp and every other restaurant review and the BBB. That big of a price hike has to be criminal. That or your 'Nice" employees I have been dealing with over the past several years have all been wrong, consistent with the price but all wrong. read more

Is it possible to give zero stars? I eat at Chipotle locations all across the country, but this experience has me questioning the leadership of the company. I ate there two nights in a row. On the first night, I was informed I would have to wait twenty minutes if I wanted rice. Rice? One of their main staples? I gave them a pass and ordered anyway. So the next night I visit, and I'm told before ordering that they don't have sour cream, guacamole or lettuce. Both experiences were during normal business hours. I patched together an order, but lo and behold, when I go to check out what do I notice? Right next to the register is the station where they are preparing online orders for pick-up. You guessed it...the station was fully stocked with all of the aforementioned ingredients they were "out of." I asked the associate if he would add some sour cream to my order, which had not yet been completed. "No, against the rules!" After surveying for hidden cameras (because clearly I was being filmed for an episode of Impractical Jokers or Candid Camera), I realized he wasn't kidding. To add insult to injury, I asked "to be clear, I could step aside and place my order online and you would add sour cream, and throw this yet to be paid for order in the trash?" "Yes sir, those are the rules" Finally, I notified an employee that each of the specialty drinks (lemonade, punch, etc.) were empty and needed to be refilled, to no avail. It's service and decisions like these which will put them out of business to a competitor. Goodbye Chipotle, it was good while it lasted... read more

Really really wish I could give zero stars. I went in to get a burrito, wait 20 minutes because there is no rice. While waiting I see coworkers pass a vape back and forth in plain sight. "Burrito" is made but it was genuinely just squished in half and I had to re-wrap it myself once i got home. Bad experience and will definitely be going to other locations over this one in the future. read more

First off, I really hope someone reads this and takes some sort of action. I also hope someone reviews camera footage to confirm my story. This chipotle had nothing positive going for it. Dirty grill and prep area, highly unmotivated employees, and slow. I was there around 7:35, so the major dinner rush should have been wrapped up but there was a mess everywhere where food was prepped. I ordered two burritos, one chicken and one steak. I had to ask for more rice due to low portion. He said there would be a little wait on the chicken and I said ok, I will wait. He then began scraping the bottom of the pan and put half a scoop of steak on each burrito and then proceeded to ask what salsas I wanted. I stated one is supposed to be chicken..which he knew. After getting a blank stare I said actually I don't want any food and stated that they appeared to be a highly unmotivated crew and walked out. The portions put on all the steaks I observed before my burritos and while building mine were very skimpy..why? Because the team appeared to have no interest in refilling the pans. This place is not at all what I would expect for a chipotle. Low energy, low motivation, dirty, slow. Quite frankly I'm livid that I waited 20 minutes in line for that experience. If I owned this franchise and that was what I saw I would seriously be thinking about my entire team and what is blatantly wrong and begin intervening immediately. Labor is tight I get that but that's not a good excuse when people are paying for a "quality" product that has a reputation. I have now confirmed it is worth my time to drive across Fargo to pancheros or Qdoba if I have the itch for a burrito. You guys need to do better. read more

Obviously it's chipotle and it's one of my favorite places to eat when I'm hungry. This location is specific I try to avoid because of how slow the workers are and how much they are out of certain items. I have ordered online several times and they seem to always mess up my order. There is usually only one person working the counter with 8 or more people deep in line and it just takes forever. It just seemed to me that the workers didn't care about the customers and were just working at a slow pace. From now on, when I go to chipotle, I will avoid this location. read more

This chipotle is always struggling. Whenever I order online they are always running behind the scheduled pick up time, and the food is never put on the shelf where you pick it up. I don't think they've ever gotten my order right. Always something missing or incorrect. The ingredients are always subpar compared to other chipotles. Josh at the counter is belittling to other people just asking for help with their order. Their mobile order is always backed up and never works. I tried ordering on the phone because I wanted a quesadilla and that can only be ordered online and the automated voice was not understanding my order so she tried sending the call into the restaurant. They did not pick up several times. Finally went into the restaurant and they still would not make my FING QUESADILLA. 100% the worst customer service i've ever encountered. Didn't get my chips or queso and my burrito was hard and stale. I worked in fast food as a manager for a couple years and I know from experience it is NOT hard to make sure people get fresh food and the correct items. A word of caution! If you go to this location and use the drive thru to pick it up, you will get half the amount of food as you would if you watched them make it. Ordered a steak burrito and nothing was ready. the Hispanic girl literally was scraping out of the tin dispenser to give me brown rice, which she said they don't have anymore. my tortilla wasn't warmed up, she gave me five pieces of steak, barely any on the spoon. They were out of sour cream. He had to go in the back to get sour cream. when I asked for more steak she went to another area and brought back another 3 piece. they were out of everything, no cups, no napkins, all the tables were dirty. A bunch of kids working behind the counter with no sense of customer service and organization. it took 15 minutes to complete my wife's and I order. it a shame and disgrace. read more

This location recently opened in December 2019. Many restaurants struggle when first opening and it appears it is taking this location much longer. I appreciate the app to place an order and than I can drive there to pick up for convenience and time. Today, I waited about 8 minutes in the drive-thru. Another car behind me had pulled up and decided to go inside to pick up her order. She came out with her food so I backed up and parked to go inside to get mine. As I was waiting, she came back inside with the wrong order. She had mine. Not sure how that can be when you specifically have to give them your name. Also, the food temperature needs to improve and I can't even say that it is warm. ;-( . I have high hopes they will improve as Chipotle is one of my favorites. read more
