Out of all the chipotles in Frederick this one is the most solid in terms of freshness and service in my opinion. It's not as busy as the one in west view and not as slow as the one by wegmans. I must say I just had the worst experience I have ever had at a Chipotle today. Placed a mobile order to be picked up at 12:15. Didn't receive my order until over and hour later. This store had several orders stolen/taken that had be re-made. It doesn't help that the mobile order stand is essential out of the view of the employees that fill those orders and a door that exits the building is also out of view of the employees as well. Employees were arguing about orders openly in front of the paying patrons. Just not what I've come to expect when I visit a Chipotle. I really recommend the mobile stand be moved behind the counter and managed by one of the staff that retrieves the order for the guests as they arrive. This may slow their process, but it prevents orders from being stolen/taken in the future. read more

I got a bowl. Chicken was very dry and chewy, not fresh at all. I asked for pico and just a little of the hot....got a full ladle of hot. If I could give less stars, I would. I am an avid lover of Chipotle's food, but did not enjoy any part of my experience at this location. Firstly, the portions were very lacking but as someone who doesn't usually finish a whole bowl, that wasn't a main issue. For me the main issue was the fact that there were nearly 20 people in the line held up by a faulty system. I was right behind the person being held up and just felt that there was a very sour attitude from the employees. They were impatient, and asked any customer paying with card to step aside and place an online order while our food was sitting there getting cold. Afterwards, I witnessed one of the same employees spraying the stores cleaning solution on the drink and utensil's area. With no regard for where these chemicals ended up, she sprayed next to the bassinets of forks and knives, and right under the area where drinks pour out from. She even got the chemicals on my arm while I was getting my drink. Definitely won't be coming back and I suggest you don't either. read more

I attempted to try this location yet again and low and behold I have decided to give up ! This location is horrible when it comes to online orders ! I placed an order for pickup arrived maybe 5mins ahead of schedule a line was out the door , to add to injury they had locked the doors , customers standing outside with no direction as to what was happening ! so I called the store to advise I was there for a pickup and to advise there was a line outside and was told "we are behind on orders " I was placed on hold .and later someone came out and stated he working as hard as we can . This is ridiculous and I will no longer use online ordering ! The lack of communication and no one was there to advise the customers as to why we were all standing out side ! I have been wanting to check this new location due to the miracle mile location and convenience to my home. It was very busy for the dinner time rush. The line was to the door and the service was friendly and fast. They had very hearty portions and as usual the quality of almost all the food was excellent. After seeing a review of the queso on the YouTube channel mi tu, I was on a mission to try it. The review was spot on any Texan would never think this was good queso. As the review stated it is like the queso was asleep. Thus can't give the place 5 stars but besides the queso the food was great! read more

I live near the restaurant but anytime no matter what day or what time I go there something is missing. Either they are out of ice or not taking orders because they have on line orders . They are always out of Avocado. The place is dirty . All the employees their masks are under their noses and so many other things . I didn't order online first because of the negative reviews, but once arrived found that people were coming in and picking up their online orders right away while I waited in line. We had placed an online order and when we arrived to pick it up, they had the doors locked because they were "at capacity." They didn't allow people to run in and grab their orders off the pick-up shelf nor did they offer to bring them out. But then when they finally let my husband inside, our order wasn't even ready (it was after the pick up time we were given). They haven't let anyone else in in ten minutes. Walk in is fine my order is pretty accurate. But, when I ordered online the other day my burrito was awful. I asked for double meat what I got was about an average amount. I wanted no beans so they could fit the double meat and the rest of what I normally like to order. Instead I got double rice and a burrito that fell apart the moment I took a bite. wish i could give 0 stars. first of all we come in at 9:28, they close at 10:00pm. every staff member gave us a dirty look when we walked in. when we get up to the counter to order, i notice two men on the grill staring at me and whispering/laughing to each other. they were not trying to hide it at all. I immediately feel uncomfortable, and pull my shorts down (not that they were very short anyway, but that's the world we women have to live in now) and make sure my over sized t shirt is providing enough coverage (it obviously was.) they continue whispering and pointing while i try to ignore them and order my food, which proves to be even more difficult than walking in the door. the girl starting people's order doesn't even ask me what i want, just gives me a blank stare with an expressionless face that looks like she's saying "well come on stupid, order". at this point i'm starting to get angry, but still don't want to be rude so i just take the abuse LOL the serving sizes the girl gave me were a 1/4 of the normal serving, she dumped a whole spoon full of mild pico water in my bowl, smushed everything down into the bowl even though it definitely would've fit because there was nothing in it!! then, when it comes to handing me the bag, she slides it aggressively across the counter, almost knocking it over. couldn't even hand it to me. not to mention... this store was DIRTY. i'm so angry that i paid real money for this experience. this store needs a total revamp, training for all employees in customer service and maybe even head of title ix needs to come in and explain that pointing and gawking at customers isn't okay. I noticed after waiting for a few minutes that I had mistakenly submitted my order to the wrong location on the other side of Frederick. I believe he was the manager, but he went above and beyond to make my order quickly and even apologized when it was totally my fault! Very poor communication by staff. I ordered a bowl and the worker asked what salsa I wanted and I said all of them and then she put sour cream on it. She was nice enough to remake it but then she went ahead and put double steak on it without my asking. I ended up just paying for it because the cashier just kept saying that it's double steak. The drink machine was all messed up as well. The drinks all were watered down to the point where it tasted like soda-flavored seltzer essentially. read more

This is a typical chipotle. It is a stan-alone restaurant right off the road. There is plenty of parking. The restaurant was clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The food was very good and I would recommend this to anyone in the area. read more

On Sunday, we stopped at this location to get lunch. At this store, customers have to wear masks. Now, there is a sign with a mask on the door we entered that request people wear masks in high-transmission areas which is not the case in Frederick, MD. We walked in without masks only to be yelled at (by yell, I mean it was loud, not in an angry way) from across the store to put it on so we did. It had the effect of making us feel embarrassed and I'm sure other customers felt similarly because everyone turns around to look at the "offender." I heard someone (later claimed she was the manager) say it was Maryland law. Uh, no it's not. Another customer came in behind us and he was yelled at too. He said he didn't have a mask. An employee said "no mask, no service." Fortunately, another customer gave the guy a mask to wear. The manager explained to a customer she was serving that she wants to keep her employees safe. Her intentions may good but yelling to customers as they enter the store to put on their masks is not the best way. It should be a request and if someone doesn't have one, let it go until if and when and if it becomes state/county/city mandate. All I ask is, don't embarrass your customers. Also, some customers may get really angry and the last thing I'm sure Chipotle wants is for a situation to get out of control. read more

visited again tonight in spite of my better judgment. ordered a quesadilla and a burrito bowl with the tortilla on the side. as they are making the quesadilla, the girl informs me they are out of cheese and cant make it. i stare blankly at her and ask how a chipotle is out of cheese. 'i dont know, we just are'. ... uh, can you see if you have more? 'we dont'. Literally as she says this, an employee walks up behind her with a full container of cheese. way to put in the effort there. i wish i was exaggerating this exchange. Meanwhile, my burrito bowl has somehow turned into a burrito in spite of our conversation when ordering - burrito bowl, tortilla on the side. i am too annoyed at this point to correct them. they try to hand me my quesadilla - cold and uncooked in foil without placing it on the grill to melt before another employee corrects them and whisks it away to the warmer/grill contraption. get it together, guys. this location sucks. read more

Worst experience I've ever had at chipotle. Cyra, syra, whatever her name was is not only the worst chipotle employee but the worst person I think I've ever met. She treated me and my husband with so much disrespect. One this store was out of many things I, as a vegetarian look forward to but was unable to have. I asked the cashier a question that I asked her (but she wasn't patient with me so I moved along) and she openly made a comment about how "people be asking questions when they already know the answer". While we sat and ate she was swearing in the back saying f*** and calling people hoes, etc. complaining about the costumers (us and another table of 6). My husband walked up to get a drink and she looked at him and said "what"; he proceeded to ask for it and she handed it to him and said here just take it. When we Began to leave she had a costumer saying he knew someone from the back and he wanted to know how much it would be, she stated to him the food was going to be free. They started arguing which seemed serious but could have been them joking. I'm not sure. Second time in a row that I have visited and decided to leave instead of eat. I went to eat here on 04/22/2019 at approximately 9:30pm. The woman at the front of the food line had her 2-3 year-old child crawling all over the counter top near the cash register and directly near the end of the food line. The baby had snot all over its face and it was sitting on the counter where everyone's food was going and it was putting its hands all over the place. Eventually, after maybe 5 minutes, the mother took the child down and it began running around the restaurant. It ran to the drinks/silverware area and again began putting its hands all over the tips of the forks and putting them back. The mother grabbed the baby and wiped the snot off of its face. At that point, I left in disgust. I would expect the employees to be more considerate of other customers here. To include not having a snot-covered baby putting its hands and butt near everyone else's food and the silverware. The time before, they had just run out of rice and said it would be 10 -15 minutes. Not nearly as big of a deal, but I was not willing to wait. I understand that happens, but the fact is that this was twice in a row that I have left without food for one reason or another. The staff is usually very nice and get my orders right, but I was so disgusted that I felt compelled to write this review. There are polite ways to ask people to control their children. read more

If I could give them no stars I would. There's no reason why the manager is present on the floor and is not realizing what is going on. I had to remind three employees to put gloves on. The cashier lady kept her mask down ; no gloves and was moving from the cashier; to food;to her phone.... Coming from somebody that used to work at chipotle it was a scary sight. One employee kept walking back-and-forth saying how much she hates this job. Employees looked high including the manager. I told the manager to come here and asked her if she realize what was going on. I asked her is it mandatory for masks to be on and gloves to be on. She said yes and proceeded to ask me who didn't have a mask on and who didn't have gloves on. I can see their employees just like she could... she doesn't need to be manager and everybody needs to be fired. Why am I as a customer asking an employee to get a sanitizing bucket to wipe their line. Why am I asking employees to change their gloves after counting money to prepare food.? Went to this Chipotle at 9:25p and was told they have no white rice. Translation we are closing soon and to lazy to cook a batch of new white rice. Store closes at 10p but workers already cleaning off the grill and other parts of the kitchen. Ridiculous! While the food is very good, I cannot give it more than 2 stars because it is hit or miss. Sometimes they give a decent portion, but lately they have been giving me very small portions which is upsetting and the chicken which I always get is either very juicy and tender or hard and tough. Went here a week ago and ordered a bowl and a plain cheese quesadilla for my daughter so she can try it out. When I went to pay the woman at the register rang me up and it came to about $25. I was baffled, so I asked why is it so much? The cashier was in a rush and asked if the cheese quesadilla was mine and I said yes. So she rerang me up and it came to $8.91, she then placed only the cheese quesadilla in the bag and I told her the bowl is mine too so she looked upset and said "I just asked you what was yours and you told me the quesadilla". I said yes they're both mine, then I proceeded to ask her why is it almost 9$ for just the quesadilla? She told me because that's just how they priced it. I said it's only a tortilla and (a very skimpy tossing) cheese and the kids menu says it's $4.50 for a quesadilla with sides and a drink and all I want is the quesadilla. She said "well, that's the kids menu and this ain't the kids one". I asked what the difference was and she told me the size of the tortilla. So I'm pissed off at this point and holding up the line I just say whatever and she rings up the bowl and it comes to $8.33. So on top of them charging me an insane amount of money on a tortilla with a little cheese she also overcharged me initially because $8.91+8.33=17.24. Safe to say I'll just go to the one on Wormans Mill from now on Smdh. read more

I can honestly say that my experience with Chipotle has usually been a good one. This time however it was not. I asked that my burrito be cut In half (my wife and I were going to split it) and they could not handle the request and they gave me on of those plastic knives, You know what an experience that can be! Next the Tortilla chips were stale, dipping sauce was good, but stale chips ruined it. Sooooo, we pulled the sandwich apart (using our fine cutlery) and left. Unhappy , but it IS a new place, so MAYBE ill go back. read more

I ordered through the app was delivered the wrong order so I assume ok doordash mistake but as I politely returned the wrong order the manager made excuses was difficult to speak with never even apologized for the inconvenience. After a good wait they handed me the new order AND STILL FORGOT CHIPS I had to ask AGAIN but still no apology nothing. After all this I recommend go to chipotle just not the location. read more
