Every time I visit this Chipotle location, I'm disappointed. It's very disorganized and has the worst service I've experienced at any Chipotle, and I've been to a lot of locations. When I ordered my bowl, the employee helping me kept ignoring what I was saying and repeatedly handed my bowl off to someone else. In total, four different employees handled my order, and none of them listened to what I was asking for. The most frustrating part was trying to use my reward for free chips and guac. It clearly showed in my app, but the cashier said they couldn't apply it. After asking another employee for help, they told me it had been taken off, but the total didn't change. When I questioned it, they insisted the reward had been applied. After I paid, I asked to see my receipt, but they refused to give it to me. Since there was a line behind me, I didn't want to hold everyone up. This is the second time this has happened at this location, and I'm especially disappointed because my reward expires tomorrow. I go to this location because it is closest to me but I will not be coming here again, that was likely my final straw. read more

I love Chipotle and have never had a bad experience with their food..until now. I ordered a burrito with double meat, and pretty much all the fillings. When I get a burrito with a regular portion of meat it's always been bursting at the seam. This burrito was tiny, filled 90% with rice, and definitely didn't have double meat. It was more like triple rice and half of the normal meat. Almost no lettuce, sour cream, guac, pico, or cheese. Be careful with online orders here. You might be a dud. This was a very disappointing experience and can't say I'll be returning to this location. read more

Every time there aren't enough people to serve and check out customers, certain food isn't ready at opening time, and they seem to have to regard for their customers. I waited 25 minutes today and ended up leaving without my food that sat on the counter for 10 minutes. Left and went to west view and was in and out in 5 Minuites. This is the first time in my life I have been so disappointed, and the worst part is that I'm not sure who to blame. I ask that both companies review this situation and take the necessary actions to correct these issues. On Wednesday, December 11, 2024, my daughter wasn't excited about our dinner plans, so she asked if we could order Chipotle instead. I agreed, and we placed a simple order online via the Chipotle app: (1) burrito and (1) burrito bowl. The order was placed at 4:21 PM EST. We received an automated text confirmation stating that our order would be delivered by 4:47 PM EST. I understand delays can happen--traffic, unforeseen circumstances--so I anticipated a delivery closer to 5:00 or 5:10 PM. At 4:22 PM, just one minute after placing the order, my DoorDash driver texted me to let me know they were already at the store waiting for the order. I was surprised but simply responded, "No rush." At 4:36 PM, I received another message from DoorDash: "Order is taking longer than expected as per store." I was still not upset at this point and appreciated the communication. However, things took a sharp turn at 4:57 PM when my Ring doorbell camera alerted me to someone approaching my front door. I opened the app and saw a man with a Chipotle bag, but he stopped halfway between his car and my door, turned around, and returned to his car. One minute later, I received a text: "Sorry, I realized I made a mistake. I am running to correct it." I responded, asking what was going on, but received no reply. The driver then sent a series of confusing texts: * "I am here with Mr. Jason." * "I dropped off John." I replied, saying, "No, you didn't. You told me you made an error." * "He sent me a picture of Jason's Chipotle bag." I responded, "I am not Jason; I'm John. Please call me," but he did not. Finally, at 5:10 PM--almost 15 minutes after he first approached my door--the driver returned. He handed me the bag and explained, "I dropped this off at the wrong address. I went back to switch out the bags, but I believe Jason may have opened your order, so I am going back to the store to fix it." (This was difficult to understand due to the driver's thick accent.) At this point, we opened the bag to find a half-eaten burrito. I was disgusted. I immediately took my daughter's bowl from her and threw it away. I was appalled that we had been delivered someone else's half-eaten food. The driver left, and I received the automated notification that my DoorDash order was marked as delivered. I then attempted to contact both Chipotle and DoorDash, but we all know how difficult it is to get through to customer service. While I was on the phone trying to resolve the issue, my daughter was sitting around, wondering when her dinner would arrive. Eventually, I reached someone at Chipotle, but they didn't seem to listen to our story or apologize for the situation. The representative put me on hold for 10 minutes, then returned to inform me, "We credited your order back to your card," before saying "Thank you" and hanging up. There was no sincere apology, no offer to fix the issue by sending a new meal, and no further assistance. We were simply told we'd receive a credit for our original order, and then the call ended. The story doesn't end there. The driver eventually returned at 5:51 PM--an hour and a half after the original order was placed. He handed me another Chipotle bag and apologized, saying he dropped my original order at the wrong address. He claimed that he tried to go back to switch out the bags but hadn't been able to make it in time. Instead of returning to Chipotle to correct the mistake, he went to the other customer to switch out the bags. Finally, my daughter and I had a new bag of Chipotle. We thought we were finally going to get our meal, but when we opened the bag, it was completely wrong. It wasn't even close to our original order. There was no resemblance to what we had requested. I can only assume the DoorDash driver picked up a random order from the store. At this point, I had completely lost patience. I couldn't deal with it any longer. My daughter and I ended up ordering pizza, which arrived around 7:30 PM--three full hours after we placed our original order through the Chipotle app. I am beyond disappointed by the service I received. As I stated at the beginning, I'm not sure who to blame--Chipotle or DoorDash--but I hold both accountable. Chipotle, I ordered directly through your app, and you chose DoorDash as your delivery service. You need to ensure that DoorDash delivers your products correctly. DoorDash, the service you provided was appalling, and the driver's decisions only made the situation worse. read more

Westview Shopping Center Location and was profiled or something. First of all I was patiently in a long lunch line... no problem it's lunch time. I was held up by the cashier to get togo orders no problem I'm patient. The cashier in front of everyone ask me if I was videoing I'm like wth no?! I was shocked because I was just trying to get lunch. I had my phone out to pay but my electronic wallet kept disappearing bc of the time it was taking for me to get rung up... I was not videoing anything I wouldn't do that and didn't think I had a reason to video and I am offended!!! ****** I literally had to find something else to eat.. in my own damn community! Not only are the woman workers mean, and rude, i'm a very understanding person but it seems like the communication never goes with them. They literally gave me a pinch of cheese the other day and told me that's the amount they're supposed to give. So I asked if she could add more and she said she was gonna charge me for more CHEESE when everyone knows you can get sour cream, cheese and etc double for no additional charge and I've been getting those things double here at no additional charge. This is even only one experience, there's been plenty of other instances in the past. This place has screwed us over time and again. I like to give second chances, especially since they are the closest location to us but they are just SO bad. Their mobile order system is trash...they've "lost" my confirmed order before, and they've never once had my order ready on time. It is currently 5:43 and I am still waiting for my order that was supposed to be ready at 5:15. As I saw the 5:30 orders coming out I asked to make sure my order had actually come through their system this time. They looked around, found my order receipt, and said they'd be starting to make it soon. I asked why the 5:30 orders were coming out when my 5:15 order wasn't made yet, and they said the special mobile order prep station had the 5:30 orders and the girls at the main counter who were also waiting on the line had the 5:15 orders. I dismissed the ridiculousness of this excuse, and went to wait outside. 5 minutes later I came back, THEY STILL HADN'T STARTED MAKING MY FOOD. In the meantime the 5:45 orders are coming out from the mobile prep area. I have no idea how I got so lucky as to have my order chosen to not be made, but it was completely unacceptable. How could they talk to me after my order was 20 minutes overdue, realize I was there, then STILL not even start to make it until I came back in and asked again??? I will drive way out of my way to another location if I want Chipotle from now on. read more

I think the service has gotten steadily worse over time. I guess chipotle corporate has started charging when you ask for more rice/cheese/beans (is what it is). This location consistently gives portions less than a spoon full. Worked here for 3 weeks. Employees encouraged me to prepare food outside of the instruction in the training videos. I was not allowed to study training videos outside of work hours. Quit after being told not to clean containers/utensils that were not properly washed the night before. Food contact surfaces not sanitized frequently. Certain employees not aware that sanitizer should be allowed to dry or rinsed before serving/storing food and didn't care to listen. Filed a report with Chipotle after leaving and encourage others to do so in hopes current management/employees reinforce the instruction provided in the training videos. Of around 10-12 employee meals, 1 meal had me praying on the toilet. read more

It is located right on the Golden Mile, which is convenient for Frederick residents more so than the other chipotle location in Westview. Just a side note--you must turn left when leaving the parking lot, so unfortunately it requires a U-turn if you're trying to go northbound on the Golden Mile. read more

When I entered the restaurant there were a few people in line. The cashier was on her phone and clearly on a personal call. All of the call in order bags were piled up next to the register instead of being on the rack. I arrived at 8:39 to pick up my order that was to be ready at 8:40. When the cashier couldn't find it in the pile she walked over to the printer and pulled the order off and gave it to others to make. It hadn't been started yet. While I waited for my order more people were coming in. I felt the worst for the 3 people who were up next. One received her order and left only to come back to tell the cashier that the order was wrong. A person who she was with pointed out to the cashier that the order she was ringing up for him seemed incorrect. She asked one of the food preparers to check it but that guy, who was walking away with another guy, had his phone in his hand and said he couldn't check it because he had his phone out. He was laughing. I could tell because he had his mask down below his mouth. At this point there are people in line and no one making food because the 2 guys left. The cashier was trying to get someone to check the order but no one would. I finally got my order and left. I've had other terrible experiences at this Chipotle location but chalked it up to the pandemic but no more. These people just don't care. read more

If your management / franchise owners / Corp can't hire or staff enough for peek hours then you should reconsider who is running things. Any review of the food is countered by the fact that there's no drive-through. The place is always packed which I guess is a testament but what's the point of ordering online if you have to queue up for 30 minutes to pick it up? No food in the world is worth all that. The worst Chipotle in Frederick. I'm a DoorDash driver, and constantly have problems with this location. Not only are my orders always 15-30 minutes late, but I consistently see them putting orders on the rack with a later promised time than the one I've been waiting for. That is, when they actually put orders on the rack. Today, I had an order with a 12:00 pickup time. Only a minute after I arrived, the employee at the counter asked which order I was waiting for. I showed her the name. By 12:15, the order still wasn't ready. Then I saw them put a bag with a 12:15 pickup time on the rack. I asked the employees if my order was coming up. They looked through the receipts and couldn't find the name, and had to reprint it. This sort of thing happens all the time here. Miraculously, when I have orders at the other two Chipotle locations in Frederick, I am usually in and out, or only have to wait a short time. This place needs a better system. I've learned my lesson, finally, and will not be accepting orders from here anymore, nor ordering online for myself. read more
