Today, September 4, she handled the lunch rush expertly, giving every guest a 10 /10 customer service experience. I dined in and was impressed the entire time seeing her nonstop positive energy, a whirl of braids and 1000 watt smile. The entire food line was staffed with people who clearly enjoy the job, friendly, happy and good at what they do. It was a pleasure to be in this upbeat environment. The portions are excellent. Having to wait 20 mins for chicken to cook is ridiculous. Employee tried to charge me for double meat when they only had enough for 1 serving. He even faked the second scoop to make it believable. The door has a sign that says they open at 10:45am. Customers were waiting at 11:15 and doors were locked. We were knocking on the window and waving and it took 5 minutes for someone to come to the door and tell people to cancel the orders. I have lived here a 1 1/2 years and have given this establishment numerous times to live up to the other Chipotle's I have visited. Today, 23 Dec at 4:50pm (start of the dinner hour) all food bowls were almost empty and no one working to fill them. The area around the food was dirty. The meat looked like it had been there since lunch. Service was passable. This Chipotle never has full food choices in all my experiences. I have tried numerous times of the day with the same result. Read all the terrible reviews before coming to this location. It was a little messy, but definitely not unclean. I found all the workers to be very polite and well mannered. They had an abundance of all ingredients available. I ordered a Carnitas bowl with double meat. I got everything I asked for and then some. I can see if you're visiting during busy hours how you could become somewhat frustrated, but I honestly didn't see one thing wrong with this place. EVERY SINGLE TIME I've ordered from this location in Virginia Center Commons, the order is wrong, & the food is old. What a disaster this place is. We ate there on Oct 13, 2024, in the evening and the place was a mess. This was not a case of too few staff members. There were about six people behind the counter, some milling about with nothing to do. After ordering our food, I tried to get a fork, but all of the containers were filled with spoons. I had to ask the cashier for a fork, which she took out of a box on the bottom of a cart behind her. The napkins were almost out. The tables were filthy, not a single one of them clean, so we used the rest of the napkins to clean a table for ourselves. And let us not forget that the young lady at the cash register was wearing Crocs-like slippers. Not exactly the right shoes for a food service business. I guess the "manager" was in back doing something other than managing. Do not recommend. Find a Qdoba for a better food selection. read more

I drove out of my way to get my sister and myself some food, when she I knocked on the door the people there kept ignoring. This Chipotle is by far the best in the area. It's right next to my work which makes it even better, to the point I will drive by 3 other Chipotles on my day off just to get to this one. Fe and the staff here are energetic, hardworking, and friendly. Not many chains you can go to and feel like the staff remembers you and wants to take care of you. It's normally take the order and push people out, but here it's still quick and efficient but you can have a real interaction outside of "what do you want to order" - I appreciate that the staff seems to enjoy being around each other too, they have a good time while keeping things moving which is super important. The restaurant is always clean, the utensils and lids are always full, the trash is never even close to overflowing. The people in charge and all the employees in general seem to really have a talent for customer service and quality. I can't say enough good things about this location honestly. read more

This is the first time I have been to any chipotle since my last uncounted at chipotle. This is a different chipotle from where they gave me no food and it did not taste good. So when I went into this chipotle I expected no different. But this chipotle was decently cleaned on the job side and they gave you pretty good portions on everything except the protein Wich was a bummer. The service here might have even been worse than the other chipotle because of how the employee didn't look like they wanted to be there and was just in a bad mood the entire time I was there. This location is the most inconsistent restaurant I've seen. They can't seem to get their act together, or the owners are letting the employees run the business. I travel to this area several times per month and in the past three months I have tried 5 tines to eat here. Twice there were no issues and twice they closed early (Today was one...its 6pm). Once was an order online only and it took over 45 mins for them to make the food. There were maybe 8 people in line for the same amount of time. I eat at Chipotle restaurants around MD, DE, and VA and this one by far needs improvement. read more

I'm a foodie yes, but I don't expect that all of the food I eat looks like something off of a cruise ship - nicely plated and garnished to perfection, but I will not eat anything that looks like slop. This is chipotle was ordered through DoorDash which they partner with for deliveries. First of all, they were missing items in the bowl. Avocado that I paid for not there, cheese not there, lettuce not there. Okay fine... but what's all this extra liquid? I literally wanted to throw up when I opened it but fortunately for me, I didn't eat anything yet so I had nothing to throw up. Anyway, it was not a good experience. This is pitiful. They were out of steak. They were out of bowls. They were out of half the fountain drinks. They were out of a lot of stuff. They closed in four hours so it's not like i was there late or last minute. The chips were stale! The guy didn't wrap my burrito right and slid the bear tortilla on the dirty counter. The cashier wasn't very nice either. A usually great pick-me-up from work, Chipotle had become a staple for me. Great options for vegans, vegetarians and meat-eaters alike, since you can build your own meal. As far as this particular location goes, I have to rank it lower than I'd like for the following reasons: *I was given an extremely small portion of beans + rice + lettuce until I asked to have more of each. *the cashier did not greet me or have any eye contact. She also pushed my food towards me and walked away as I said "thank you". *I never pay extra for chips, but today I did. Mistake!! They were old and chewy. Also WAYY over salted wow. What can I say, it's a Chipotle! It's close to my house, super convenient when leaving the gym (lol), and a delicious, easy meal when I've got a hankering. Last time I went, I asked for lots of lettuce (because, balance) and I was really happy that the girl actually gave me a ton. Most of the time, they can be a little stingy with the toppings and/or make you pay for an extra serving. No fault to them, though. I get it! I love that they are always happy to go with my request to have the sour cream on the side instead of mixed in. From what I recall, they don't have wifi. This isn't a great place to hunker down and get work done for an afternoon. But, it is awesome for delicious takeout! read more

I ordered delivery from this location, and was thoroughly disappointed. I was craving a salad and this was the only place open. I ordered a salad and chips and guacamole. When I got my order, the salad was missing dressing and was dry AND there were no chips for my guac! I called the store to inform them and they told me they ran out of both items and that I could send an email to complain or get refund. Now, my first question was why did no one from the store call to inform me that they ran out of the items? That's the whole point of them asking for contact information. As you can expect a typical Chipotle to be. If you have been in one you have been in them all. With that being said this Chipotle is fairy busy all the time being at a major stopping point off 2 major interstates. Online ordering, use of the app, and pickup is extremely beneficial during the busy times! Today i tried their free delivery on sundays! Super easy and actually was free. They use a supplemental company door dash to deliver it. I also tried their new queso blanco today! Much better than their first crack at queso. I would like to start by saying whoever operates this chipotle should be fired because it is the most poorly run business in the area. Not have I never gone in there when they are t out of something they were out of bowls. How is that even possible. They're often out of guacamole, chicken, beans and even lettuce or cheese. Half the time you enter the store they won't take your order claiming they only take online orders. The store is also supposed to close at 10 very often they stop taking orders and close at as early as 7pm. The store is a disgrace and a new chipotle should be built in the area and run by somebody else because chipotle has great food and the worst service of any food chain on the planet. The servers are also extremely rude and they always don't give you full scoops of meat and then charge you double for what should be one scoop. read more
