    Enchiladas with Rice and Beans

The food was excellent and ambiance was okay. The service was a bit lackluster, but not terrible. My wife and I sat in a booth where my seat was about six to eight inches too far from the table, which caused me to have to sit on the edge of the seat to reach the table comfortably. A minor infraction, but also quite annoying--and the seat couldn't be adjusted. Because of these inconveniences, I'm giving this experience four stars. Make no mistake, though, I recommend Don Lucho wholeheartedly!

Chicken was grilled to perfection and the fried yuca was amazing. The prefect crunch fest with very flavorful aji varde sauce. I wanted to get a gallon of that varde sauce to bring home Very much recommended and the service was excellent.

We decided to eat at Perfect Pollo Peruvian & Tex-Mex when we were going to Shenandoah. For most people at our party, it was our first time eating Peruvian Chicken, so we didn't know what to expect. Ambiance: The restaurant reminds me of a Filipino eatery with a food bar for food selection. Since we were dining in, we didn't order from the food bar. We ordered from the menu instead. A billiards table and game night machines are on the right side of the entrance. There are posters for some live viewing of certain sports events. Price: We were surprised at how inexpensive their food was, and their servings are also huge. Food: I ordered half-size dak meat Peruvian Chicken with yellow rice and fried plantains. The half-size dark meat is 2-leg quarters. They were flavorful. The highlight of our meal was the sauces. I don't know what they were called, but I enjoyed mixing them up and dipping my Chicken. The fried plantains were one of my favorites as well. Service: The staff was very welcoming and open to suggestions. We got a chance to talk to the owner, who explained what to expect when eating a Peruvian chicken. Perfect Pollo has multiple locations. We will definitely be back when we are back on the road and in the area.

Thank you my Peruvian brothers & sisters. Y'all do pollo right. Crispy outside and juicy inside. Fresh vegetables as you can see from the photo. Ya gotta mix that jalapeño sauce into those spuds folks. My first time here and I will be back! For those of us who have served our great country, it is much appreciated how you display your American patriotism & Peruvian traditions. They do go together and we are all better off with you here & glad to have you. Thank you.

Portions are either very small or over priced... on second thought it's overpriced $4 for a cup of rice on the side makes no sense.

Plenty of parking around back, it may be tricky driving into the location but we met right at 5:30. My friend got there before me and got us on the waitlist. Luckily, it wasn't that crowded yet and were seated pretty quickly. We decided to start out on their house margarita...my stupid self went ahead and answered the server "the largest one you have!" They were NOT kidding - this cut was gigantic! I told my friend that we will be getting one to share between the both of us. I made it a personal goal to finish at least half of it before leaving... I decided on their chef's special, carne steak (it was all the meat lol: steak, chorizo, with rice and beans). OMG, it was amazing with so much left over! (Spoiler - it taste amazing cold too! haha). I don't remember the dessert that we got but it was seriously like a big pancake churro with a scoop of ice cream. The place is clean and our server was great! He was on top of everything, let us do our thing and checked us on at the right time. I'm already excited for the next girl's catch up date already.

Why I left a 1 star review... Please read…read more.... This was definitely a five star experience all the way around. I left the one star review so that it might come to the attention of upper management. It will not deter us from returning again. People aren't born a happy server. However, with training, they become awesome personality for the restaurant. Our server was not a people person . No hello or welcome to the restaurant. They did not revisit our table to check our drinks, however, another server stepped in and refreshed our drinks. Our original server never stopped by to see if we needed anything or wanted anything else.. The quality of service is a staple to the survival of a business that serves the public . The decorations, were identical to the other ones that were in the area. Awesome. I ordered the beef and chicken nachos appetizer. It comes loaded with meat and cheese. More than any other entrée in the dinner menu selection. . So much so it's too much food for one sitting.

The staff at Chuy's go out of their way to make my husband and I feel like family. Jennifer one of the hostesses along with waitresses Jackie, Melissa, and Melissa Nicole, Jennifer, and waiter Marco excel at their jobs and are the warmest friendliest people we have ever met. The interior puts me in mind of a museum. One dining section has a ceiling filled with hubcaps and photos of classic cars line the walls, while other dining areas feature photographs of Mexican people. Another has framed pictures of dogs and cats. The food is amazing. Huge portions I almost always have leftovers to take home. My husband always gets the beef tacos in a soft shell. He skips the re fried beans and saves the rice for me. I enjoy tacos but also enjoy the burritos, enchiladas, and salads. It is so crunchy and delish! I had them put the chile on the side. Only complaint is that the chicken was half the size from the picture on their website. Felt a little cheated here. My guest had the King's Memorial combo. It was huge, but bursting with flavors and it came with a crispy taco on the side.
