I always like Jersey Mike's, but this one was disappointing, in both food and service. I understand why they have such few stars.

Met here as a central meeting spot for a quick business lunch. The girl making the sandwiches that day was so rude and so unwelcoming I will never come back to this location. I was embarrassed because I'm the one that set up the meeting here for somebody I was making a business deal with. They even looked at me after I ordered and they ordered like, what is wrong with this woman? She didn't look you in the eye when ordering or asking how you wanted the sub, had a horrible mean look on her face, never smiled and didn't say thank you or anything. I even asked her if she was having a bad day, that's how obvious it was. She said, no I'm not. So it seems to me she should not be in customer contact. Maybe in the back doing the hot subs or not employed at Jersey Mike's at all. Didn't get her name, but she was Caucasian and had tattoos on her arms. read more

Jersey Mike's is always consistent and thats what i love about it. We always order the #13 The Original Italian. Comes with Provolone, ham, prosciuttini, cappacuolo, salami, and pepperoni. We like to order a giant sub on wheat bread and have it prepared Mike's Way (Onions, Lettuce, Tomatoes, Vinegar, Oil and Spices) with mayo and pickles added. The meat is sliced per order and the sandwiches are stuffed. Always hits the spot. read more

I went to Jersey Mike's after work. The meat cutter asked what sub I wanted I ordered the Italian Sub and requested to switch the ham for turkey.She said it would be a charge. I said ok. Then the employee named Amanda entered into the conversation telling me I could exchange the ham for another meet. I was like it's okay if I'm paying for the ham I'm going to eat the ham. She was still trying to explain what I could replace for the ham. I said it was ok. Amanda said to me I was just trying to help Jesus F*ucking Christ. Her reply almost made me come out of character but I didn't give her the time. She was then rude to the customer behind me. I called to address her energy that was unnecessary and not once in the conversation did she apologize for her nasty comment. That behavior was unacceptable. They do not answer the phone at 8:30. We've called 10 times and the phone rings. I went to the store and had my wife call and the phones just rings and nobody picks it up. I asked the employee why don't you a see the phone and she says "we are ready to go home" bad service!!!! Not to mention they're unprofessional as well. read more

Customer service on Saturday afternoon at 1PM was focused only on telephone orders. I stood there, with no one else in the store, for more than 10 minutes before my order was taken. Once my order was taken the sandwich maker was a complete Scrooge with condiments. There were only 3 pieces of banana pepper! If they only want telephone and web orders, they should close the lobby. Do not buy from this establishment. I've been ignored by the staff for more than 20 minutes on the phone, trying to get my order right...but they put the phone down and won't talk to me. Eaten at a few Jersey Mike's around the state and this one is the most consistent and friendly. The store is clean and well run. Chipotle Chicken Cheesesteak is by far my favorite. Be sure to give it at try, especially at this location. read more

From the minute I walked into this location I had one of the worst customer service experiences ever. We weren't greeted upon entering and instead glared at. We placed our order and went down to the cashier. Just some background, the only reason we went to Jersey Mikes is because we had a gift card. Upon swiping our gift card the cashier simply said "card declined," and stared at us blankly- that would be the last word spoken to us. I politely asked him if he could try again and he angrily swiped it without saying anything. He then shook his head and handed me the card without saying anything. He didn't try to offer any assistance or apologize at all- I'm 99% sure he could have manually entered the number in, but that was not offered. I proceeded to just give in and pay with my debit card, and the payment processed and he continued to remain silent and avoid eye contact. I left feeling extremely disappointed. Having worked a similar job for years, it really doesn't take much effort to communicate with the customer. My view on jersey mikes has been severely lowered due to this experience. read more

2nd time I've ordered a cheesesteak sandwich on wheat bread and it was made with white bread. Also, delivery person left order without ringing the doorbell or knocking on the door. This was my first experience at a Jersey Mike's (after hearing about their yummy sammies from my mom for years). I walked out a fan looking to see if I could find one closer to where I live in NoVa. Likes: I really like that they slice the meats right there as there's something really gross about the watery stacks of meat at other sub places. So, this diner likey the fresh meats and also the bread! Very soft and did a great job of holding my grilled pastrami Rueben together. Dislikes: The only thing from this visit that bothered me slightly was (and the gentleman behind the counter knew this was my first time there as I had told him such)that there was some confusion on my behalf over the toppings. I thought when I ordered that some of the fresh toppings would be offered/added in addition to the things that came on the grilled pastrami Rueben but they weren't. The Sammy was still delicious but I would have liked to have had the option to add (they brought it to my table after it was grilled up). Bottom line: Will I visit JM's again? Yes, most definitely. This ranks up there with my love of Potbelly Sandwiches and will make it difficult to visit a couple of the other sub joints in my area. read more

This is my go-to sub shop in Hanover. Conveniently located next to Home Depot, where I spend a lot of time on weekends, I end up eating here a lot! They have a wide variety of subs, both hot, which is grilled, and cold cuts. Everything I've had here has been great! read more

This women is the rudest, most unprofessional employee I've ever come across. The young girl with long brown/red hair should either be fired immediately or be forced to undergo intense customer service training. As soon as we entered she had an awful attitude. She seemed annoyed that we were there. She took our order as she was mopping, and didn't even look up while we were talking. There was no hi hello it was "do you know what you want" as she was mopping. Very rude. The entire interaction was very awkward because she seemed to have such a bad attitude and was very abrasive. Jersey Mike's is a quality franchise, as much as I try to avoid franchises. I'm always confident that I can get a good fresh sandwich there. They move product and keep the place clean. I eat at this location quite a bit and they are consistently consitent. One gripe Is the always asking me if I want it mikes way. No. I don't know Mike, and I have no idea what he likes on his subs. Also, if you ask for O&V, mustard, Mayo or, ya know toppings, be prepared for a ridiculous portion. Like, the lid fell off portions. You have to be very specific about how to have them top it because everyone that works there are bodybuilders and they don't know their own strength when it comes to squeeze bottles. They will go up and down the sub about three times with the oil, man. read more
