This might be the worst Chipotle location in Toledo and the surrounding areas. Every time I make the poor choice of returning to the Spring Meadows location, I end up dissatisfied in some capacity. I usually don't bother going on and leaving a negative review, unless it's warranted, but my experience tonight was just that. The food was burnt, the service was slow, and honestly the place didn't look very clean. The table where they have the food was filthy. The entire 10 minuets I stood in line I didn't see a single person wash their hands. It's sad you have to actually ask them to wash their hands yourself in order for them to do it. The guacamole was brown and still they decided to serve it, knowing the price isn't very cheap for it. The only issue I had was getting into the parking lot, however that's not a Chipotle issue and I should've took the second entrance from freeway versus the first where I'm sure the majority also took. I was able to park quickly. The line was short, and moved swiftly. I received friendly help immediately when it was my turn. I got exactly what I wanted. Two meat burrito, corn, cilantro tomatoes, light rice, light sour cream, shredded cheese and even added salad dressing to my burrito. It was super stuffed. It was hot and it was Good! We call this location "Desperate Chipotle," as in, we only order from here when we're desperate for Chipotle and don't want to drive one inch farther to get it. This used to be an amazing location. Excellent flavors, huge portions, great workers. I even once found half a bee (the pointy half) in my corn salsa and spun it into OMG THE FOOD IS SO FRESH ITS STILL BEING POLLINATED BY BEES. So yeah, I was all in. Then a few years ago, something changed. Burritos were small, and bowls barely filled to the brim. I hate that. If you are charging me the same, it always needs to be the same. I don't care if it's so much food I can't finish it, I paid for that and I expect to get it consistently. Period. When they instituted ordering on the app I was so excited, and at first it was great to just walk in and grab my bags off the shelf. I can count on one hand how many times my order has been ready at the designated pick up time in the last 2 years. It's never ready. I'm talking a 20+ minute kind of not ready. People walk in and go through line and get faster service, which feels wrong. Can someone just come and in revamp this location and get it running, again? These issues predated the pandemic, so that's no excuse. Send help. One of the best things about chipotle is the fact you can just go to Panera right next door instead. The quality of the food is so low for the prices they ask for, I would get better food at the Burger King right next door for half the price. It would probably taste better, too. read more

Chipotle customer service used to be great. Now, since the implementation of this "Pepper" system, it has deteriorated to abhorrent. Today I ordered via the Chipotle app. My order was placed at 6:05, it was estimated to be delivered at 6:37, it did not arrive until 7:02. Typically, I will let that go. However, I ordered a large side of chips and queso, and my chips did not come. I went on to try and enjoy my burrito, but it was so cold that it felt like it was a store-bought, frozen burrito that was allowed to thaw out, but not being heated at all. It was not lukewarm, it was not room temperature, it was cold. Initially, I thought that my issue would be with door Dash, because they are the third-party delivery people. However, the queso itself was still warm. And since these items would have been picked up at the same time, and in the same bag, I believe my burrito being so cold have to do with poor service at this chipotle location. So, through the app, I rated my order, and in the past, they would have someone reach out to you if you were unhappy. This does not happen anymore. Instead, I had to go through my email, look at my order information, and then click on the link that took me to an automated system that messages You. I went through all of the drop-down boxes I have you select options, I put in my confirmation information in my email, and after I specified what was wrong with my meal, they told me they could not process the information and then the conversation was ended by the artificial intelligence. Mind you, there were three things wrong with my order, but I was only able to select one of them. That point is moot, however, because nothing I said was processed. So I went through that twice. Then I tried to call the store, but you cannot talk to a regular person at the store. It's another automated system. Honestly, this review isn't just to warn people that this location can do a shoddy job at times, it is in hopes that someone will see this and rectify the issue, because I am unable to talk to anyone who would be able to help me right now. I suppose, I can drive into the store tomorrow and handle it. UPDATE: This location replaced the entire meal. I am satisfied. read more

This is one of the worst locations I've been to, each time has been poor, but this describes the most recent visit. There was one person working the serving line, with a long line of customers. An individual I later found out was the "General Manager" was in view of the serving line, avoiding eye contact, enjoying a frozen drink, speaking to a cook, and ignoring the growing line. As he exited, he very loudly yelled to entire restaurant about a a new kitchen manager or something. It was quite unnecessary and unprofessional. Another employee was standing at the end of the line talking to a friend, might have been on a break, not sure, but again a long line. All of the tables needed to be cleaned and sanitized, but this never occurred while I was there. Finally as I was eating, there were a number of employees being loud and goofing off in the back, again as one person worked up front and a line of customers were stacked up. I submitted feedback on a receipt survey, but it didn't ask for any contact information for the company to follow up upon, so clearly they don't care. Skip this location. read more

Restaurant and patio both were clean and tidy. Trash cans not overflowing as I've seen in other locations. Food taste was excellent as well as portion sizes. Staff was friendly and helpful. Staff was communicating well regarding food supply needs. Also saw staff cleaning glass partition between guests/food. Noticed that food delivery providers did not have to wait for orders. Bathroom floor could use a mopping but it is 4pm as I write this review. Air freshener and toe door opener for the bathroom door would be a plus. read more

There's definitely been a change in this location. I used to avoid going to this one. The food was a hit or miss, and some of the employees were rude. Since there has been new management, the store has gotten A LOT better. The food quality is always on point, the restaurant is always clean, and the employees have wayyy better attitudes towards customers (even the complicated customers.) Probably the worst chipotle I've been to. I don't know who the cook was on the evening of 1/16/15 but the chicken was extremely salty; and I got extra chicken because they were stingy on the meat. I might get a stroke because my blood sugar is so high right now. To the owner of this chipotle, please tell your cook he needs to follow directions more carefully and not dump the whole drum of salt on the chicken. One would think that all Chipotles are created equal; I beg to differ. I have yet to meet a Chipotle I love as much as this one. The meat is ALWAYS better seasoned here than any other Chipotle and the servers, for the most part, are very generous with the portions of the proteins. I had my reservations about giving a Chipotle a 5-star review, but for someone who frequents the establishment on a weekly basis (at least) anything less would be unjust. And in other news, that E.coli outbreak scared no one (to my dismay), the place is still consistently busy, so anticipate a line during peak hours. read more

Staff is friendly and importantly they get my order right every time, so that I never have to return my order b for being wrong. I love Chipotle! Always great food. I love that there are vegetarian options and it's mostly organic. The new sofritas (tofu) are pretty good but I normally get both black and pinto beans with brown rice in a bowl. Only negative is the strip mall this Chipotle is located in. It's always full and parking is a major issue, especially now that the Panera Bread in the same strip put in a drive thru. read more

I ordered two days ago out of convenience, and to get something easy and hopefully a bit healthy. Going in, no one seemed to be engaged or have a clue on what their guest experience meant. I am sure the atmosphere is suppose to be lively but no one had any sense of humor. I could have understood if they were busy and they weren't, and even then you would have a vibe of liveliness and synergy as everyone cranks out the food and interacts with each other. The two bowls I ordered were completely different except for one thing, well two things. SALT and no other flavor.(Oh, did I forget the poor quality of food)? At first I thought it was sad that they missed the guacamole I ordered and paid for When I called back they of course offered to give me a whole new order. At first I thought it would be fine. But the next morning, no way! I was so puffed up from all the salt. So, no free salt block for me, I couldn't deal with that again. What happened to the place? Maybe the founder should let the huge stock holder make changes. I don't eat fast food ever and this experience is why. If I wanted junk food, I would have gone to Taco Hellll, or one of the other terrible Tex Mex places in town. read more

Chipotle - my favorite food group. What is there to say about this corporate giant? As I have said in other post, this is another company that can't really mess up what they do. They have everything from the logistics of food service, ordering, and even exiting down to a science. The staff at this location is polite and helpful, they're fast and hard-working, and I'm always willing to go back just for that reason. Well, no. Not just for that reason, but you know what I mean. Even as the 10 o'clock hour is about to come and they're closing their doors, they always let me come in for a quick order. I love to writeis reviews, but this is just one of those places that you can't write too much about. If you're in the mood for Chipotle, this should be a great location to go to. read more

This is my favorite Chipotle! It's also the one I go to the most, as it's close to work. I come in at least once a week, and the staff is always incredibly friendly. I think the meat is better seasoned than at other area Chipotle's, and the guacamole portion is larger, too. I'm a big eater, but I can never eat a whole bowl in one sitting. The one negative thing is the parking lot- it's atrocious! It has always been bad, and now the Panera next door is adding a drive-though which will make it even worse. I don't know who designed a parking lot for two popular lunch spots with only one entrance and exit, it's terrible. Before Chick-fil-a started construction my coworkers and I used to park at the vacant Tireman and walk across the grass instead of battling the morons in the parking lot. But even a terrible poorly designed parking lot can't keep me away, and I will continue to frequent this Chipotle for the foreseeable future. read more

My wife had difficulty getting my wheelchair into the restaurant, but no one would help her. We told the people behind the counter that we had never been to Chipotle before, and was greeted with tremendous indifference. No smile, no suggestions, just a blank face. They had just been discussing something before we came to the counter, but for us, nothing. The cashier was friendly, though. I ordered a chorizo burrito bowl without beans, with sour cream, brown rice, lettuce, salsa, and cheese. The chorizo was greasy, and tasted like hamburger with stale spices. There was no pork flavor to it. There was very little toppings in it. The salsa was not spicy at all. Onions and jalapeños peppers were not available. The only hot sauce was Tabasco, nothing else. The rice was a little under-done. My wife does not like spice. She asked if the steak was spicy and was told that it was; that was the total of our assistance. She ordered the chicken burrito bowl instead, with pinto beans, brown rice, lettuce, and cheese. She still thought that it tasted a bit spicy, but that may have been her. She said that it could have used more lettuce, but the beans and cheese were sufficient. I had a small Ice Tea (no sugar) to drink, my wife who has had gastric bypass surgery is not supposed to have a drink with her meal. The tea was good, but not great. With a buy one - get one free coupon, it came to $8.90. The "music" was a too loud combination of hip-hop and R&B that interfered with conversation. For Mexican food, we still prefer San Marcos. Even Taco Bell was better food. read more
