This was terrible. My family did an online order and we ordered 3 bowls and kids meal. The 3 bowls were both filled MAX half, missing lots of ingredients we asked for. And worst of all, the kids meal was meant to come with chips and a drink, in which we did not get. The quesadilla was supposed to have steak and it was just cheese. And finally, the rice was supposed to fill at 3 compartments of the kids meal, and it filled one. read more

Ordered a very large order for my family today and someone along the line couldn't read "chicken only" for a burrito and decided to add all the ingredients including hot salsa. So. we have seen a terrible trend for Chipotle. For this Chipotle, the past few visits have resulted in bad meals for our family. For tonight's dinner, we had 3 meals. For the bowl with chicken, the guacamole was brown and the chicken had gristle in 90% of the meat. For the burrito with chicken, it also had a lot of gristle. For the bowl with barbacoa, there was a lot of fat in the meat, and it the meat was not well shredded. So, I guess our mistake was trying this Chipotle again. The past few visits were bad. It will be a long time before we try Chipotle again, and we will stay clear of this particular location. Looking back over the past few years, the trend is definitely unfavorable. read more

This location is hit either on point or absolutely terrible. Today was no exception to absolutely terrible. I online ordered, to walk in when it was suppose to be ready to be told it wasn't ready. I waited, then I watched as the people who came in after me started walking out with their food, I walked up and asked they said it be right out. I waited another 10 minutes and watched all the employees socialize and finally walked up to find my meal sitting there, and none of the socializing employee's had a clue or bothered to tell me. Let's start with DISCLAIMER: if you are in this part of world. You're going to be royally disappointed with the food options. Everything is franchised & poorly executed. I'm a loyal chic fil a fan (you get what you pay for folks) but this night I wanted something different( knowing the above) . I saw the existing reviews like everything around here warning you to stay away. So I read 3 and came to a gamble of proximity to where I was staying. Didn't order online per last few reviews. So I drive over it's busy. People are in/out online order. So I YOLO'd go in 1. Nothing is cooking on the grill 2. There's piles of food in the warming bins like it's lunchtime (7:30 pm Tuesday night) BUT NOTHING IS STEAMING. 3. Some dicey looking individuals behind the counter. So I order a burrito bowl / lime rice / chicken few other things / chips and bottled drink. Proceed to my room. Take chips out they are stone cold like probably days cold. Nuke em for 45 seconds .. it does help. Just warm ass. Take 3 bites in the bowl. I have a beard an mustache. I'll catch my black hair in the corners sometimes. I'm chewing y'all , assume that is the situation.. I grab at said hair. It's in there. I pull it folks... IT UNRAVELED FROM THE BITE OF FOOD I JUST TOOK. . It's a fairly long reddish brown strain. I can't let this go not at $15.64 . Idgaf it's the principle it took me a few days to calm down and write this! I basically once I pull this from my mouth. I called them calm as can be ask for the manager. I explain the situation very calmly and said. I gotta get my money back. You not only ruined my appetite but you're not taking my money as well. It's the principle. This dude tells me bring it back with the hair! I said oh ok. I return this all happens within 10 minutes of ordering leaving / hairy bite and return to chipotle. I come in calm, with my same page I left with it's people still coming in and out folks!! Ordering like crazy!!! The breaking bad extra whose hair it is realizes why I'm there. Young man at register I ask for manager by name I spoke with he gets red. I haven't raised my voice folks. He goes to the back . Patient zero that's shedding making the food makes eye contact with me and bee lines behind the same door. Another random manager surfaces I bring up to speed verbatim the story above. He sighs. Returns my money to my card I said she could've offered an apology. The manager I spoke with could've completed this as I was not loud or angry. I probably should've just told all these people why I'm back here with my bag. But why would I expect professionalism from grown people making burritos. Yes I said it!! If I could give a zero star review if I would. while I enjoy chipotle this location is extremely problematic and should be avoided. So what are my issues? First this location prioritizes pick up orders over people who are in the restaurant. While other chipotle locations utilize a digital make line (a separate production line for digital orders) this location never does. The consequence is that the line moves very slowly while they make to go orders instead of servicing the guests who are waiting in line. Today I tried a digital order using the app and the result was horrible. First the good news, the food was ready as promised, however the food quality was horrible. I ordered chicken Al pastor tacos and the chicken was dramatically over cooked and not fresh, it was almost as though that chicken had been sitting in the steam tray for hours. It was tough and stringy and clearly not fit to serve. my first experience with Al pastor was amazing at another location however todays experience was worse than Taco Bell. It was dry, tough, stale and with very little flavor Additionally the tacos were prepared very sloppily, so much so that I had to put all the fillings into a bowl and then remake the tacos so that I could eat them. Usually when someone makes tacos at other chipotle locations, they carefully put fillings into each tortilla and then fold them up as they close the foil so that there are 3 separate tacos and the fillings stay put in transit However this time it looks like someone took 3 tortillas, placed them on the foil overlapped and stacked and then proceeded to dump fillings on top making a mess that contained all the right items but was inedible as individual tacos. To make matters worse when I contacted customer support the situation was not resolved to my satisfaction. My expectation is that information about a poorly run location should be captured in support of continuous improvement, instead I got a system generated coupon from a chat bot without even the opportunity to express my concerns. Bottom line is that this location has serious operational problems and needs significant help. Just to be clear this isn't an isolated incident, this location has shown a clear pattern of poor food quality and bad guest experience for an extended time frame. The Chipotle location at 355 S Wadsworth is well run and consistently exceeds my expectations. However this location at 145 Union desperately needs improvement I would have communicated all of this to customer support if given the opportunity, instead I have to post it here in the hope that the regional manager will see this and get this location the help it so desperately needs. read more

Beans looked dry and food line was very messy. If you can't cook enough meat to last the night, then you might as well close early, I don't want to pay $40 for scraps. Walked out and went to Qdoba instead. Not impressed and definitely don't want to spend my money on leftover food that no one wants and be forced to choose from what's left. LOVE THIS LOCATION. Extremely fast and the people working here are fantastic. Couple things I really like that this Chipotle does as opposed to some others: 1.) Will make fresh brown rice without salt if you request. Hidden secret in those rices is the amount of salt they use and if you're looking to reduce some sodium intake for health reasons, folks here will accommodate. 2.) In the mood for just some rice & beans, maybe add in some fajita vegetables and salsa? It's cool if you haven't, but sometimes that's a pretty solid meal and doesn't leave you with a lingering Chipotle food coma. But...is that even worth it because they charge you the price of a full burrito, don't they?! NO, if you get someone nice and reasonable, they'll just charge you each item as a side. So you can get a great bowl of food for like $3.50. 3.) For those of you that are fans of the fajita veggies, I feel like this location has more folks coming in for those veggies, which means they are cooking up fresh trays more often. We also shared a large bag of chips and queso. Plenty of parking and decent music playing. It could be loud in here if it were crowded with people. Luckily we came at a good time for peace and quiet. Average. The place is empty every time I've been in there. The bar items are low and generally old looking/tasting. Today however, I went for lunch. This place was packed. Still average....or slightly less than. The people on the bar were stingy with serving sizes, which I assume was because they were busy. They looked annoyed to be serving customers. Maybe it was a bad day? I'll give them the benefit of the doubt, but regardless, it was apparent that they were rushed and unhappy. All in all, this location is average. You won't be disappointed but you won't be overly excited to return. read more

First off I am a Chipotle fanatic. I mean, I love Chipotle, a lot. I pretty much always give Chipotle 5 stars. Having gotten that out of the way I want to explain why this trip to Chipotle only got 4 stars. Basically, and I do not know if this is the norm at this Chipotle or not, but the lady was really skimpy on the servings. Normally when I get my usual order it is heaping over the edges of the bowl. This trip it was like my steak salad was sitting in the middle of the bowl, it was tiny. I will say that as always it was delicious but I had to ask for extra meat and only got what I usually get in one scoop at other Chipotle's. Yes I was charged for the extra meat! If you look at the photo I submitted you will see that my nephews chicken bowl was TINY! That pic was taken on his first bite. So one of two things are happening here: 1) The manager at this Chipotle is a stickler and trains their employees to give out smaller than usual portions OR 2) I am lucky and my 2 usual Chipotle's really deliver the goods and I should be happy I go to them. I don't know if there are very many people that enjoy Chipotle as much as me but I will say that today was a rare disappointment. Shame on you Union Chipotle! Have been a regular here for some time! The staff is ALWAYS polite and speedy. Plus the food is great everyday I go. Other chipotles will have hit or miss on the food. It is always hot, always made the way you like it. The employees listen to what you would like on your burrito/tacos/whatever it may be! Ate here for lunch at noon with my bosses. I ordered a steak bowl, first it was like 6 pieces in there! I got it with brown rice, salsa and avocado. The steak tasted old and I didn't even finish the bowl. Food quality tasted poor to me! I've eaten at chipped where I Iive in Los Angeles that is much better. I've had many visits to this location and all of them have been good. The employees are friendly and very fast. If there's a line, the wait is usually not very long. The managers are awesome and appreciate large orders (picked up by a company go-fer), especially when they're called in in advance or placed online. My only complaint is that they run out of tea at times, but that's not enough to lose a star. read more

First off I've been coming to this Chipotle since my kids were born, about 12 years. Since they were babies my kids always loved a cheese quesadilla and black beans. Easy enough to order that on the kids meal, and when they got bigger I started ordering a large cheese quesadilla with black beans on the side. My oldest has some sensory processing issues and this is one of his favorite meals. We eat here at minimum once a week. They got the new quesadilla machine which requires them to fold the tortilla basically into fourths to fit it in there. It comes out crusty, dry, with a little cheese in the very center. My kids hate it. So I've always politely asked them to make it the old way (tortilla folded in half with cheese and they melt it in the steamer). It takes longer this way, but I don't mind waiting. Some staff seem irritated when I ask, most do it happily. Today I was told they would no longer make it that way when I asked the "manager" (when I asked if he was the manager he said kind of) about it he said "I bought a million dollar quesadilla machine we're going to use it". So much for any sort of customer service. We don't like Qdoba as much, but will be heading there. Even though they use a quesadilla machine too, they don't have to fold the quesadilla up into quarters to fit it in there. read more
