I have placed two online catering orders.. both have been messed up. The first one I asked that it was ready by 11:30.. I didn't walk out until 12:15. Therefore I was late to my lunch. The second time- I placed an online order again. "They never received the order from corporate". I showed up at 11:20 (the order was supposed to be ready by 11:30). I am now going to be late to another lunch. This location is the worst to do business with. I will never be coming back to this location again! read more

The only reason I've been to this chipotle more than once was because it's on my way home from work. I love chipotle but this store is pretty bad. On at least two occasions I've ordered ahead on the app only to wait over an hour past the expected time. People ordering in person got their food much quicker. I've also found a hair in my food once, and my last visit here the amount of meat they put in my order was ridiculous. This is the last time I'm coming here. read more

I believe I ate here Jan 9th around 6pm (approximate date) I had a salad bowl (or is it called the burrito bowl?) what it consist of was steak, pinto beans, lettuce, sour cream and spicy Hot sauce. It was quick, clean, since I had never ate there before... I asked what she would recommend and went with it. These people are nasty. The employees are very unfriendly. They give even the strongest men anxiety to order even the most minute menu items. Chipotle should be an enjoyable yet timely experience, yet these employees make it neither. The lines are out the door, the place is louder than all blazes and icing on the cake the employees are as***les. Ugh disgusting. I hate rude people and harsh, negative attitudes but this one really bites at me. I love Chipotle because I can get great tasting, homemade food in a hurry. My favorites are the sofritos and veggie bowls, but I also really like the caritas bowl as well. Any bowl I get I have to have their pico de gallo and salsa verde. read more

They were really stingy with the ingredients. Gave me what looked like 2 oz of chicken when I first ordered. Had to ask for double meat and then it looked like I received 5-6 oz. (They are supposed to give you 4 oz/serving). Overall the food tasted good but the ordering experience was tough because I kept having to ask for extra of everything and ended up paying for double meat bc I wanted a normal portion of chicken (4oz). They also don't ask if you want dressing for your salad which was a little odd. read more

Disappointed to see the cashier working on 9/20 @ 12:04p was wearing her mask such that it did not cover her nose, and made no effort to reposition her mask to cover her nose while I was in the store.m (when you have to wear a mask 10+ hours at your own job, you notice these things). All of the other workers however, were doing an excellent job of wearing their masks properly. Still, because the cashier is both the last person to handle the food and speak with the customers, I left. I ordered double chicken and double steak burrito bowls on line. much to my dismay, the portions did not even come out as when you order a regular chicken/steak portions. The chicken and steak meat texture appears to be just re-heated, not fresh. I paid more than 13 bucks per bowl. Times are hard and we demand quality food and good portions of the meals. I visited on Wednesday sept 23rd. I placed a order and they must have mixed things up. They forgot to put my burrito in my bag and my chips and guacamole. Everything else was there. So I drove all the way back home and notice. I had to share food with my son. This was the only mishap. I was very pleased to see they were enforcing the social distancing there. Even though the place was packed with customers. I arrived at lunch time. Just so upset. They must have given the person behind me my burrito and chips and guacamole. I order off of the app and when I went to pick it up I walked into a packed restaurant where the line was all the way to the door. I waited 5 mins for my order to come out before asking where my food was, after 4 more times of asking and 30 more minutes I started to become impatient. After going up to the desk a final time I was upset and hungry, and finally some employee decided to look up my order on the computer some girl from the back starts out for me and getting mad at me for complaining that I waited 35 mins just to find out the order didn't exist. The workers at this restaurant are rude, very slow, and are constantly talking amongst themselves and at one point that I was there, the desk was left unattended for at least 5 minutes (meanwhile the lines out the door). To put it simple, they took my money, deleted my order, and started yelling at me for getting upset that I wasted $30 and 35 minutes of my day on complete retards! read more

I should have read the terrible reviews before going here. The table tops were clean, but that may be the only thing. Even the ladies room had broken nacho chips all over the floor. I don't eat rice or beans, but still only got about a teaspoon and a half of chicken. They filled the rest of my taco with sour cream and salsa. I was disappointed they didn't offer peppers and onions, until I saw that they were almost black and probably sitting in there for hours. The first bite was ice cold, and I mean cold. As we both work in the service industry for years, I made a joke about that being really safe. Needless to say, we both woke up sick with the worst stomach cramps. I almost had to call an ambulance, I've never had pain like that in my life. After a few hours of diarrhea we are both fine, so I believe it was definitely the food. Having a very busy time introducing out of town baby grandchild to large family. Chipotle sent seven of the eight meals I paid for and my sister picked up. We received abrupt self righteous treatment and were told to come to the store in person to get my card refunded. Funny, they could charge my card without me being there! I seriously could not get away today, hence the need for the convenience of ordering Chipotle. It seems if I was shorted a meal I should be refunded without having to drive 20 minutes. Ordered food online to had it door dashed to work......door dash driver had to wait over an hour for the food to be prepared, but he was so kind and awesome. They were apparently busy and the online orders kept being deleted from the system..or that was the excuse the manager gave. But no excuse for the poor service, the ice cold food, and two of the meals being made incorrectly !! Will not be going back ! Sorry excuse for a restaurant. This was not the first time this has happened.......the last three orders I ordered online and picked up myself. I had the same issue with my order not being made or found ( until I showed them my order on my phone, order was made incorrectly, no forks or napkins in the bag, food is cold. I've been to this place a few times but yesterday was probably my last. Went there with my wife and son and after eating most of our food my 11yo son noticed a long strand of hair in his burrito bowl. He was very upset and felt nauseated by it. My wife went to let the employee know what happened and the person she spoke to just so happened to he the general manager himself. Instead of offering an apology he told her "I'll make sure everyone shaves their head".....he then disappeared into the back. Now this made my wife very upset and almost ruined the rest of our day. She asked for an explanation for his response and was met with confused looks on all the employees faces. She was so upset she cant even remember what name one of the other employees gave her when she asked for the managers name. She thinks it was Michael or something like that. A person like that has no business being a manager and I think if your handling food you should be wearing a hair net. read more

I work up in this area sometimes and I was excited when I heard a Chipotle was opening up here. This store opened in too much of a rush I guess. Nobody working there knows what they are doing. I can't tell who the managers are because ... well apparently there are none. The line is out the door, not because its so great, but because... nobody working there knows what they are doing. It took 15 minuted to make my burrito because about 3 workers decided to go on break in the middle of the dinner rush. Not only did that slow down the line, but they were getting their own food and distracting the few people that were working the line. My $7 burrito was cold and I threw out half of it. I have been to several other Chipotle and usually the whole experience is very good. This one is a disaster and if they don't get some real management in there to fix the issues its going to either give Chipotle a bad rep locally, or it will close down in a few months like other fad-type restaurants around here. I was really craving Chipotle, so we stopped here. Bad idea. This was, hands down, the WORST Chipotle I've ever been to. The rice was undercooked, a little hard, and didn't hold together in the burrito. The vegetables were so charred they were black and very overly burnt. They added way too much sour cream and it overpowered the whole burrito. They do NOT know how to make a good Chipotle burrito at this location. Very very disappointing. read more

I enjoy Chipotle to a fault. I have been to this one several times and I am beyond amazed at how poorly it is run. My last experience was insane I waited on line for a good 30+ minutes when the line was NOT half as long as it usually is. Only to get a very tiny scoop of chicken that tasted old. The rice felt like it had been sitting there. Yet, I love Chipotle and I go all the time in the city where I live and I never have an issue. Last night I went into your location before my way out to an appointment. I gave myself an hour and half to do this. I spent OVER an hour in line and standing waiting for chicken for take out. OVER AN HOUR. if it was a sit-down restaurant that MIGHT be acceptable on a busy night. The girl who FINALLY attempted to start my order had a HUGE attitude because she couldn't hear me well. On top of that I found my half scoop of chicken to be ridiculous. I asked for extra meat and she dumped two heaping scoops. I don't understand how it could be a tiny half scoop or 2 HUGE scoops and a tiny scoop? Whatever, I think they might have been trying to save on meat because they seemed to run out of several things the entire hour i was there. I understand dinner time can be crazy, I also understand chipotle is NOT fast food. Waiting an hour is obscene. I waited so long by time I got home I didn't have time to eat it. I love Chipolte. I'm totally addicted to it. Eat it like 3-4 times a week for lunch. Out of all the area Chipolte restaurants this is by far the worst one Ive been too. The workers are rude, and the quality of ingredients is not up to par with the Chipolte standard. The managers of this new place aren't following the manual for success they were handed. A longtime Chipotle lover at DC and NYC locations, I visited this one three weeks after they opened, and it was a real letdown. The space is plain... an ordinary-looking square room, with no separation between the food line and eating tables, and no decoration whatsoever, save two tall plywood walls with large holes drilled in them so you can see the colorful painted walls behind them. Dull, dull, dull. I've seen the simple but attractive decorative artwork at other Chipotles, and these folks must have simply decided to cut corners and pass on buying them. And here's the crazy, inexcusable part. In the 25 minutes we stood on line, they ran out of brown rice... then guacamole... and then cheese! NO CHEESE!! In a Mexican joint! I had to stop by the grocery store on he way home just to complete my salad. And clearly, they were understaffed, which is why we had to wait 25 minutes to get served. I guess no one told these guys that the best way to fail with a new restaurant with a proven concept and plan is to execute them poorly, ESPECIALLY in your early, honeymoon period. I might return to try it again, but not soon. They need more time to get up to speed... and to read the damned manual. read more

I love Chipolte! I have gone to there restaurants all over the country. This field site in Middletown has a lot to be desired. I hype up the place to my boyfriend we wait in line forever 25 mins only for them to run out of guacamole, (the main event for him)attempt to give small portions and the servers were not all friendly. The worst part was the place looked like a bomb went off, every table was gross, every freaking one! The garbage was over flowing and the soda fountain was a disaster. The seating stinks also all on top of each other. My BF wrote company and they gave us gift certificate so we went back. Better experience but he had to argue over what the gift certificate entitled us. Line was still to long though. Hope they get all the kinks out soon I love to be a frequent flyer. read more

I have been to chipotles around the tri-state area and up state but this one is really on the slow side. Takes me 15 minutes to get my food when I'm the first one on line, which looks to be rarity at this location. But 15 minutes really that is way to much with no line and all you do is put ingredients in a wrap and wrap it. What I want is that it's great but not as much as Moe's or any of the local digs that serve faster and better. read more

Sometimes the line can get long but for the most part, the line goes quick. I always get the same thing whenever i go to any chipotle ..My only complaints i have are sometimes the chicken is overcooked and the tables dont get wiped down as often. read more

This place was not good. I went there twice. Both times my steak was super tough and over cooked, like chewing on shoe leather. The first time the steak was over seasoned and so spicy I could barely eat it. The second it was seasoned okay but still not very good. The workers were pretty rude and they talk so low so I can't hear what they're saying half the time. Then when I ask them to repeat it they give me an attitude. When I was getting rung up there were 2 workers getting rang up and I had to wait forever for them to find their cash then they didn't have enough and they were asking their co workers for money. Chipotle is literally my favorite thing in the world. I have to say that this is one of my favorite chipotles i've ever been to. everyone is nice and friendly and when i do a pick up order i know they either make it 5 min before i get there or while i am walking in it's getting packed. There has been times i've ordered from other chipotle's and it's not fresh! you can just tell. So happy to have a Chipotle in my town. This restaurant chain is a place you get fresh food that is prepared on site, visible to the customers that you can order to go. You will wait a bit longer than your typical take out fast food establishments in the area because all the food is freshly prepared on site by the staff. It is well worth the wait. I assume that the staff is new to Chipotle. However, I was very impressed with the team work in effort to expedite the orders and restating the customers order to ensure correctness. You never want to wait 15 mins, open your order and it is not what you asked for. The staff is through, well managed and very courteous. The line was very long when I arrived. I witnessed an employee who appeared to be working in the back, wash his hands, put gloves on and join the team on the line to assist with customers orders. It really got the line moving. There was a day I heard someone complaining about the staff that was sitting down eating. She was very upset and loud. She said "Look at how busy it is and all the staff is sitting around eating all the time". I responded to her. I asked if she was here getting her lunch. She replied "Yes, If I don't eat my lunch my blood sugar drops." I told her that probably hold true for most people. She replied "Yes look at that line." I said those guys need to eat too. She nodded, took her bags of food and left. That is just what they were doing they ate and went back to work. People don't be so critical. That space was vacant for years. This is a new establishment in our area. Be supportive. I used to drive to NJ to get my Chipotle. If there is an issue bring it to the managers attention for rectification.
