I want to start off by saying I dont usually go to mexican or Spanish food spots because im not crazy about it but this place changed my mind. First I have to compliment how clean this llace was inside. The workers were constantly cleaning and every surface was spotless. The workers were very helpful explaining what each thing was to help a picky eater like me figure out what i wanted. I ultimately went with a burrito with chicken, cheese, black bean, salsa and sourcreme. The portion size was massive and the price point was right on par. The chicken was so juicy and you can tell the ingredients are fresh. One of my favorite parts was the road fountain had real cane sugar drinks. Been around this establishment for quite a few visits and they've been very, very consistent. Consider it a smaller version of Chipotle but seems to be a little more authentic if that makes any sense. Service was excellent as soon as you walk through the door and you get to pick out your entree and the fixings as you go through the assembly line right down until you pick up your drink. I've been here twice so far, but I love the food here. It's good, clean food and not only do they give you good portions, but the prices are also very decent. The ingredients so far have tasted fresh, none of it tasted as though it was sitting around or older cooked food. The service is great as well and the inside is very clean. I got a burrito both times and it tasted amazing and was very filling. I would definitely order again. I honestly think they are better than Chipotle. We usually love our Newburgh location but the last two times we have ordered (both times I was sick and needed delivery) wthey have messed up our order. The delivery driver called to have a worker tell me that they were out of the protein I wanted and asked if I wanted a replacement. I thought that was so kind. When I got my order they had mixed my sons order with mine. He was missing things he wanted and got things I wanted and I got things he wanted and I didn't. I have celiac disease so I couldn't eat my meal because I wasn't sure what was on it. Please be more careful When making orders. read more

I don't recommend ordering for delivery from their website. My order sat there for an hour before I had to drive to the shop to pick it up, have it remade, and they refused to refund my delivery fee and driver tip. So I paid $15 extra to drive there, wait for it to be remade, and be gaslit by their staff. Terrible experience and I will not be returning. read more

Ordered through app to pickup dinner on way home. When I came for pickup the bag had correct name, order number and my food listed. Bag was closed with a sticker. Arrived home and the burrito bowls were not my order. I am a vegetarian and bowls had meat and were clearly someone else's order. I called restaurant they said they had already remade my food and it was sitting there. I told them this didn't help because I live 30 minutes away and would not return to pickup the meal they had apparently realized they messed up and remade. I asked for a refund. They couldn't figure out how to issue a refund for an order placed through the app. They took my number and said a manager would call. No one called and no refund has come through more than 24 hours later. Emailed Salsa Fresca corporate at the address they like to put when they respond to bad Yelp reviews. No response. I am filing a charge back with my credit card. This is the second time they messed up an order placed through the app. First time they mixed up a few things between the two bowls I ordered. Annoying but still edible. This time completely wrong food and something my wife and I could not eat. read more

Just recently opened up and so far left a great impression. The place is very clean and all employees are working to serve customers, so even though I was waiting in line, it barely was very long. Also always made fresh food, constantly I saw new meats being cooked and seasoned ready to serve, and food being changed constantly when it ran out, got lucky to have freshest yellow rice. So my bowl was Baja Chicken, yellow rice, queso, shredded cheese and sour cream. It was delicious, chicken was well seasoned, moist and tender, only thing I wish was it was not so finely diced and rather chopped. Yellow rice was great, not much to add. Loved the queso, spicy and little chunky with peppers. Chip and salsa were great addition, decent chips and sightly chunky salsa that was flavorful and not too spicy. Pretty much a full meal, under $15 bucks is hard to get outside of fast food, glad I got bargain and a tasty one at that. Hah read more

Like many places in 2025 this place has no care for customer service. After a long 12 hour day at work I went to order some food. Tired and bit forgetful upon checking out I realized I did not add my rewards. I asked the young woman helping me is there a way I can add my rewards points because i was pushing the screen and it was not working. She looks at me and says no you have to do that before checking out. I also should mention while I was making my order in line I said out loud sorry I was having trouble logging into my rewards. Totally not her job to remind me just an observation. I'm sure shes just as tired as I am so no big deal. I ask again are you sure there is no way you can help me. Refund and reprocess the order? She apprently goes to ask her manager who tells her no. I say would it be okay if I can speak to her manager she said no he's busy. I just paid 16+ dollars for a bowl. Which is ridiculously expensive honestly. However, I was okay to spend it, all I wanted was the points because if I'm going to spend that much money on food I at least would like to use the reward system. Very unfortunate because this was not my first bad experience. I've in the past been given something that I did not ask for and then was rung up to pay for something I did not ask for because they interpreted what I said incorrectly. This new restaurant in Newburgh is amazing! All the food is made fresh daily. The Baja Chicken BLT burrito is delicious. Spicy dark meat chicken, Mexican rice, very flavorful black beans, crispy bacon, fresh lettuce and tomato, and finished with an amazing Chipotle Aioli! I love how chips and salsa are included with all entrees. The customer service is attentive and quick! The restaurant design is modern, open, and flows well! We also loved the Boylan cane sugar drink station and the organic tractor drinks. read more
