This Chipotle is a bit of a hit or miss. The portion sizes are consistently small, with half scoops that barely fill the bowl. If you ask for more, you usually get some attitude in return, which is frustrating. The staff isn't the friendliest, but at this point I'm not sure what I expect from this location anymore. The customer in front of us had his entire order remade because the staff couldn't manage to get it right the first time. "That's unfortunate," I muttered. If only I had known -- we were about to suffer the same fate, only worse. My girlfriend ordered first. She politely asked for a bowl with *extra* white rice. The worker, with all the enthusiasm of a sloth on sedatives, scooped barely a standard portion. She kindly reiterated her request. i go to this chipotle often and have had some bad experiences...but today i went in and Callie was so rude! she threw my food together and my burrito was falling apart. i had to come back to get it fixed and immediately Callie was rude, confrontational and she proceeded to say we (a customer) were wrong. Callie started to go on about how long she has worked there and stormed off into the back. I have very low standards now for chipotle but this was rough. They definitely did not have the tortilla heater or the drop bins turned on for heat. Super cold dry tortilla that was ripped apart. This is 0/10 management. I worked in fast food for many years I know it's tough. But being a good manager is not hard. Put the customer experience and basic food quality first. Based on Chipotle's earnings release they should be paying attention to customer satisfaction through online ratings and reviews in communities like Yelp. Not sure if they do. Anyhow, this is a new location and I'll start with he positive. The facility is well designed with great lighting and seating optimization. Everyone on staff was very friendly and polite. That gets the new Rosemount location 2 stars. However, this store loses 3 stars based on four things: 1. The store is filthy. Brand new but filthy. Despite a light crowd, all of the trash bins were full, tables were dirty, and the bathroom was gross. This was not a staffing issue. They were fully staffed. So staffed that no less than 2 or 3 were dining themselves. This was not a crowd/volume issue because there was no customer rush. 2. Inefficiency. The line had about 7 people. It took me 20 minutes to place my order. When I got the first server she was polite but also way too caught up in side talk/conversation with her coworker and I had to repeat my order 3 times. 3. Portions. Let me be clear. I'm not one of those people who goes to Chipotle, pays for a single burrito, and expects a nacho platter for a family of 5. I do not "life-hack" my fast food orders. However, when my chicken salad has less beans and lettuce than than the small serving of the chicken provided you know there are some fundamental issues at play. 4. Freshness. My chips were stale. Literally gross. Final verdict: Better than the Apple Valley store (aka the bottom of the barrel) but not yet at the Eagan Promenade benchmark. read more

Obviously left over from the day before. The rice was not cooked and hard/crunchy. My chips were old and stale. They are constantly looking for employees and the workers here are really awful! This Chipotle recently opened. The staff are very friendly and polite. I hope they look at Apple Valley's location as a what-not-to-do example. That place is so bad, I refuse to go there and head up to Eagan instead, from Farmington. I am hoping that this location stays strong. I have eaten here several times and it seems no matter when you stop they have a line. The line moves slowly. They are slow on the line and they are normally running fewer people on the line than other Chipotle stores. The worst for me is cleanliness, this store can be pretty dirty at times. I keep hoping they get better but it hasn't started yet. I love the fresh food. The food has always been good. Make sure you don't run out of Tabasco sauce. Some good locations like Eagan, Bloomington, Shakopee are locations that seem to have the speed of the line and everyone's roles in place and each people overlaps when needed to keep the line going. Yesterday, Sunday mid-afternoon there was a line and the cashier is expected to do a lot of stuff, get more Tabasco sauce, or other things people at the counter request, the person next to the cashier just kept piling food up in front of the cashier while she was gone instead of sliding over to help. More mentoring is needed, but get the mentoring from good locations that have there satisfaction down. read more

After waiting that long an apology or a coupon would be appropriate. From very late pickup orders, to bad/slow service, to getting skimped on orders. Our family was excited to have Chipotle come to our small community of 25,000. We have ordered from this location 3 times. It gets worse each visit. The most recent order, June 6th, 2020, was for 4 adults, one kid. EVERY meal had an issue. The kids meal tortilla's were hard as if they were left out in the open all day. The adult meal bowl issues ranged from missing ingredients to NO LETTUCE in the Salad Bowl! . What sense does that make? We are done with Chipotle. Ordered catering for 140 person Grad party from Rosemount, MN location. Supposed to pick food up at 2:30 but was not done. Was informed they were "short staffed". No manager on duty! Came back an hour later, (30 minutes before grad party started) staff carried boxes out and loaded into my car. Asked multiple times if I had all the boxes, reply was yes. Got to party just before it started and unloaded. Unfortunately, No cheese and No lettuce. Had to drive back to store and pick up rest of the order. I was 45 minutes late to my daughter's grad party! Unacceptable! My biggest issue is there's no way to call the store directly...phone menu drives you to catering or online order. The Rosemount store was supposed to call me but absolutely no communication whatsoever. Went in there a 4th time a few days later...still no manager on duty to talk to. Chipotle is a great brand that makes great food when done properly and the Rosemount location is not that place. On more than one occasion, I have found this store dirty and cluttered, slow to move and they have gotten many an order wrong or completely missing. Sometimes our soft shell tacos are way overdone like they're hard shell, sometimes our food is extra salty, other times our food is burnt...I've commented to corporate and thought I'd give it another try. Hopefully the manager reads these reviews. First..the food was actually pretty good. Have had some weak chipotle experiences lately wth poor food quality. That being said at 6:30 the food was well behind in terms of have a good amount out. They struggled to have simple ingredients out and the chips were empty. Quickness will need to be ironed out and hopefully it will. My big problem with the place is that it was an absolute mess. Brought my family of four in and would be hesitant to do so again. Tables were not cleaned anywhere. The floor was a disaster. They were no stocked with essentials like napkins near the soda machine. Suggestion is to have a runner at all times taking care of the floors, tables and stock. I've been to the one in Apple Valley, don't become that place. It's dirty as can be always. Second time here this week. First time I waited in line for 20 minutes to then be told there is no chicken and that the carne asada would be a wait of at least 20 minutes. The staff seemed absolutely overwhelmed with online orders and the people waiting in line. Left without getting any food. Second time this week I ordered online and set a pickup time of 30 minutes later. Got there and it is, again, absolute chaos with no one seemingly in charge. None of the online orders had been processed and people waiting everywhere. Order was completed over 40 minutes after I was scheduled to pick it up. Had I not ordered and paid online, I would have cancelled my order. Lastly, the place is a dirty mess and it's no wonder Chipotle has had food safety issues. Clearly no improvements.
