Second time here this week. First time I waited in line for 20 minutes to then be told there is no chicken and that the carne asada would be a wait of at least 20 minutes. The staff seemed absolutely overwhelmed with online orders and the people waiting in line. Left without getting any food. Second time this week I ordered online and set a pickup time of 30 minutes later. Got there and it is, again, absolute chaos with no one seemingly in charge. None of the online orders had been processed and people waiting everywhere. Order was completed over 40 minutes after I was scheduled to pick it up. Had I not ordered and paid online, I would have cancelled my order. Lastly, the place is a dirty mess and it's no wonder Chipotle has had food safety issues. Clearly no improvements. I gave them a second chance and they failed. Will not be returning and would recommend people go elsewhere. read more

I am trying my best to maintain a positive attitude with this Chipotle but every time we purchase food here they either get it wrong or the quality is awful. I don't know what needs to happen for them to get better but clearly some more training and better management is needed. read more

This Chipotle is new as of this spring and it seems to be better than the others that are along 42 from Burnsville to Rosemount, Compared to how horrible the Apple Valley and Burnsville Locations are this place is great! But there are still some issues, first are the staff, they are incredibly rude and dysfunctional and with each person the portions seem to be way different. Sometimes you get to much food or to little. Second they really need to fix when you do an online order the process where they get the order to you after it is made, i have waited over 10 min for the food that was ready to go but nobody bothered to look for it. I have not been to a Chipotle in a long time and was soooo disappointed in the Chipotle location on Cliff Road in Eagan. The place was very dirty, walking to the door the outside trashcan was overflowing and looked gross. The inside was not much better. The food area was not wiped clean, the floor was dirty and with Covid I would expect to see more detail on the cleanliness of this store. I don't think they would have passed a Health Inspection!!! Yet another place in Rosemount that performs subpar. Ordered two meals online. Was able to get it on time, but the quality is the problem. We ordered two burrito bowls; one chicken and one carne asada. The chicken bowl was only half full. Figured something was wrong when it felt very light. Another thing, our food was tasteless! I don't know if they are cutting corners on their seasoning, but this is what they should NOT cut out on. Had to deal with half portioned burrito bowls and tasteless food. Ordered online (big mistake, every order online from this store i or my family has done ends up wrong, missing something, or cold/poorly made)...picked up the order and it seemed seemed like they just tossed it together with no concern for quality it was bad...ordered an additional chips and Queso...the bag of chips was less than the amount in a kiddie side tray - not worth the money charged or the effort. I have never had an issue with any other Chipotle, but this one was nearly impossible to navigate. I first tried to call in and got an automated messaging system that was really difficult to work with. When I asked to speak to a representative, I was connected with a Chipotle employee. I asked to order a burrito to-go and they said that they didn't do that. Being very confused, as all Chipotles usually can do a to-go order, I asked why. This employee just told me "We just don't do that." Frustrated, I asked how long it would take if I needed to quick run in and get a Burrito and they responded with simply "I don't know." Please fix your online ordering situation!! I can understand it being down for a week or so but you have been open since the end of January and it's still not working in April! Other than that I've been extremely happy with the staff! If I ask them to add a little more or less here and there they listen without acting annoyed and they are always upbeat, friendly, and welcoming! Notorious for messing up orders and people in the Rosemount community talk about how trashy and disrespectful the staff is. I'm a 23 year old guy and it even rubs me the wrong way. Most food I get there is made with zero care. Trying to figure out where in the chain of command the failure is but they must have little to no oversight. There were approx 10 customers standing around with their cell phones in-hand. Nobody was being served. Everybody looked annoyed. I asked to speak with a manager. A young woman ran to the back room to fetch her. When the young woman returned she was laughing (presumably at my expense). Then the manager came out, a tiny asian woman. She would not give me her name. She simply repeated, "Online Orders Only". I explained that I did not have a smart phone. She just shrugged. She didn't apologize or offer any other options. She said that there credit card machine was broken, so they switched to online orders only. No cash transactions? No manual credit card transactions? She just starred at me blankly. I said, "You lost a customer today.". She smiled, shrugged again and said, "OK." I won't be going back to that location. The low-quality of customer service amazes me. Nobody cares anymore. This is absolutely the worst chipotle I have ever visited. The staff is incredibly rude and efficient and unprofessional. I needed something very small and nobody could help me made me stand around and wait for 10 minutes and nobody approached me to resolve my issue while other customers went walking by. Could not get my issue resolved and had food thrown at me nearly by an upset person on the line. I am so disappointed in every single employee that worked there and chose not to step up and resolve the situation. Too many cooks in the kitchen and none of them are in charge. Not to mention the food is always dried out and looks like it's the bottom of the barrel and not turned over with enough frequency. Doesn't matter if you come in store or order online you always have to fight for your food at this location. I downloaded yelp exclusively to make this review in hopes that they can improve. It's not the employees fault at all it is 100% the management. I know the upper management gets personal bonuses if they chip people off on food but one scoop of rice?? Employees on line are very kind and friendly despite being always busy and the person on grill makes the steak and peppers PERFECT every time!! The chips are ALWAYS stale. Nothing like being excited to dip a chip in your burrito bowl & then find out it's hard & chewy. Huge bummer every time. Always super busy and nowhere to park. Takes forever to get your food. Stand in line for 15 minutes and everything tastes exactly the same. I'm not picky and never complain about food but when I keep coming here week after week for the last 6 months everytime the food and service is not good.. I will now drive to Apple Valley chipotle because this place needs better management and the employees need to learn to actually work/care. So ridiculous and the place is always gross/not clean. Once again I spent 20 minutes trying to get a burrito. Walk in last night at around 7 pm so should be past the dinner rush. I was excited almost no line and 9 people working (well staffed). I thought this might finally be a good chipotle experience. Walked up to the counter and ordered a fajita burrito. SUPRISE "were out of fajita veggies" As usual lots of empty tins in the prep area. I asked how long and contemplated leaving but I was hungry and I do love the food. "5-10 minutes". I stepped out of line and waited. I was in the store for 20 minutes for 1 take out burrito. This happens constantly at chipotle. If the food wasn't so tasty I'd never go back. I dont understand how the food isn't kept full, it's an easy task. It's not made to order. On the plus side the burrito was delicious. I guess that's what happens when there is nobody seemingly in charge there. If their was a manager on duty she/he wasn't worried about the guy waiting at the counter forever letting all the other customers pass him, patiently waiting. I really want to like this place. I write this as I eat my blah burrito bowl. The closing staff tonight was so sweet, talkative and so friendly!! But the guacamole was bad, to doctor it up I had to add salt and lime (is this just mushed up avocado?), and I'm crunching on a lot of half cooked white rice. This place is mildly better then Apple Valley location. It's either Eagan/MOA locations or bust at this point. Such a bummer. read more

Not good anymore, staff is super stingy with ingredients. The lady who works the cheese/lettuce tells the cashier to charge you for any items you ask for on the side, salsa/sour cream. Meat is overseasoned and chips don't have any salt. Apple Valley is better then this one. read more
