Staff here was friendly and courteous, and the restaurant itself is inviting, cleanly, and vibrant. Unfortunately, during the ordering process, we found out that the store, for whatever reason, does allow you to substitute items. For example, one of the items we ordered was the Fiesta Bowl. The bowl comes with cabbage, which my wife isn't fond of, so we simply asked if we could get lettuce in place of the cabbage. When not one, but two, of the staff members told us no, we were a bit surprised, as it didn't seem like much of an ask. Anyways, we proceeded to order it with cabbage and, while the bowl was actually pretty good, the inability to substitute wasn't ideal. The other food item we ordered was the Pesto Primo sandwich. While it wasn't terrible, it certainly wasn't great. The bread was a bit bland, there wasn't much pesto, which made the sandwich dry, and overall it simply lacked the flavor we were hoping for. I really wanted to enjoy this place, but I'm not sure I'd make a trip back unless it was really the only nearby option that was somewhat healthy.

We wanted something fast and simple so we could all eat an hour or more before child bedtime. Grabbed a handful of tacos, some Ole's and nacho cheese for everyone. I asked for sour cream to be added to all the tacos. We got the right number of tacos. None had sour cream. We were given extra nacho cheese beyond what we ordered, not sure why. Food tasted fine, as well as is expected from Taco John's. However, we all suffered later int he night as we each ended up in gastrointestinal distress during the night and we don't have enough bathrooms in the house to service everyone at the same time. It's been several hours, and though we are all lacking some sleep it seems we can send children to school without issue, and I can say for me that work today will be difficult due to lack of sleep. We've eaten from this store in the past with little issue until recent months, so this was a bit of a surprise for us all. I guess next time, assuming there is a next time, we'll try the newer store in Eagan near Town Centre though I see that store doesn't have may good reviews either. Maybe we'll have to stick with the local mexican places instead of the chain stores from now on since Taco Bell hasn't been much better than this lately either. I grew up eating Taco John's quite often (weekly or more). I expect better than this.

Today I very clearly and deliberately ordered a single with no cheese and only mustard, mayo, and pickles, and I got a single with mustard, mayo, and KETCHUP. Don't know how you get ketchup from pickles, but there you are. Sounds like a small deal but EVERY TIME I eat at ANY Wendys, they screw up my order. Every. Single. Time. This entire chain deserves to go out of business. I threw my tray in the trash and went down the street to Culver's, where they always get it right. Screw you, Wendys, and your consistently incompetent employees. Dave didn't used to do it this way.

I was honestly shocked that someone representing Culver's would treat people this way. If Brittany doesn't want to work with customers, she shouldn't be in customer service. One employee's attitude completely ruined our visit, and because of this experience, I'll seriously think twice before coming back. Management needs to address this because no customer should be treated the way we were.

So tasty, full of meat, and drizzled with a lovely sauce. The Shrimp Fajitas were mid....small serving of actual shrimp, with too much veggies, and the flour tortillas were hard when they arrived. Not a bad spot by any means, but some room for improvement!

HORRIBLE -while the "staff" was all on break - one kid in front trying to do it all. I got black bean tacos- the black beans were ice cold, like they had never even been heated up. My husband got a chicken burrito- again the chicken was previously cooked but also ice cold. There was food all over the counter tops- dishes stacked everywhere. We will not be going back. placed an order as a passenger in a car at 5:33 requesting it be ready ASAP, 5:45 at the earliest. arrived at the location at 5:35 (by the clock in the car which may be one to two minutes slow) and expected to wait for my order to be prepared because i'd arrived so quickly. i was absolutely SHOCKED when it was already prepared, packaged, and handed to me within ten seconds of my arrival.
