A classic chipotle experience, the folks behind the counter were exceptionally nice as they walked through my order. The store itself is located in an ideal location, close to the metro stop, comfy, and not on that dang Rosslyn hill. I tried the newer brisket in a classic bowl which had a nice Smokey flavor that complimented the classic chicken I added as well. The serving sizes unfortunately do seem to decreasing each time I go to a chipotle but the quality of food remains consistent. read more

This Chipotle has been my go-to for forever in a day, literally 4 years since I started working in the area. That being said, I've probably eaten here over fifty times. My fa odite is the chicken bowl, and I pretty my h ask for all of the toppings that they have to offer. However I am a strict black beam eater, and I will always request brown rice 100% of the time. I. Ate here right after work and I was literally famished from eating just donuts and coffee all day. Thus place was easy, it's about a boo k away from my job, and I knew that I couldn't go wrong. It seemed like they were a little slow tonught, e an though I got here somewhat early at around 7pm. The music was great and the staff was efficient which made up for the lack of friendliness. Some of the options from my normal chipotle back home were missing, such as lemon which I always put on my burrito. The salad dressing container only had 1/3 of the total amount of dressing it could have had so I had to ask for another one which felt like a waste of plastic. The trash cans were all full and the tables weren't bussed so that was disappointing. read more

Decent place to go. I do like the bowls. My personal favorite is the steak or chicken. These with cheese and vegetables on top, can be solid for workout meals. Unfortunately their tacos are a disappointment. After having three of them, I'm literally still hungry. All of the staff are super here. It can get busy, but they'll keep the line moving. Chairs are kind of ho hum for taller people, but should work for most. The tables are what I go with, instead of the booths that have the room issues. This is not only one of the most efficient but also one of the nicest ones (staff wise) I have visited. Today I took my Spanish class to Chipotle to practice the Spanish they've learned in regards to properly greeting people, ordering their food and paying. The staff was super patient and gracious. I don't often write negative reviews of fast casual restaurants because it's fast casual, but I felt compelled to write one here as a PSA--avoid online order at this place at all costs because they will refuse to fulfill your online order and force you through the line and pay again for the food you had already paid for, all with a terrible attitude. Whole story, I placed an order for three bowls on their app for pickup (I was in a rush and planning on grabbing and going), and when I got there, they handed me an order with one bowl. I asked them where the rest of the bowls were, and they said I just ordered one bowl. I showed them my email receipt and my app, and they kept insisting I only ordered one bowl. At some point, the manager (Mariela I believe) came over and said their system only showed an order of one bowl. I showed her both my receipt and app again and it clearly showed three bowls that I had already paid for. She had an awful attitude and basically told me too bad. I asked her if she could make the bowls now since I had clearly ordered and paid for them, and she told me no and to buy them again by going through the line. I asked are you seriously asking me to go through the line and pay again for the food I had already paid for (also remember I was in a rush)? She said yes with an awful attitude. I asked her if she was seriously telling me to pay twice, and she basically told me to deal with Chipotle corporate on getting a refund. Which is wild because I had absolutely zero proof the store refused to fulfill my order--for all Chipotle corporate knows, I just want a free bowl or bowls. So many problems here. 1) How does Chipotle not receive an order placed through their app (if that's actually what happened). 2) Why would they not just fulfill my order if that happened when they literally saw the app and the email receipt. 3) They were not apologetic or helpful at all (again I would have zero proof trying to contact Chipotle corporate to get a refund). Really just go to the Chipotle at Ballston--so much better and to my knowledge, they don't try to make you pay twice for food. read more

Ditto on other reviews, but their veggie burrito is pretty good. Just be careful at lunch time, because they typically have a very long wait line with the hungry locals looking for food. Free refills on sodas, and the seating is good for people watching. Definitely a short walk from the Rosslyn metro stop (Blue and Orange Lines.) They also have a call in/fax in service for pickup and a separate pick up window. [Update: 4/23/07 - Had a bit of a bad meal there. Now as a fast food lover I get the concept of fast! But this location has 6 people working over top of your food, they are rude even when the place is empty, the employees think because you are not of the same ethnicity as them you don't understand their language, and managment is not too far off from their employees. 4/5 Really nice experience here on a busy lunch rush. The location is in a rather prime spot in Arlington surrounded by a large amount of offices making it very crowded here. Despite the crowded lunch rush the staff were great and FAST! These guys are one of the fastest and most efficient crew I have seen at any Chipotle in the DMV. The food was delicious and fresh. The location is relatively large so it's easy to find a table but be aware that when it's crowded you need to hurry up to get a spot. The only issue I noticed was that their bathroom was out of soap luckily they had a tiny bit of soap and hand sanitizer in their bathrooms but I think that was the only downside I noticed of this location. Chipotle is always so fresh and filling. This is one of the best locations I been to in a long time and I will make a trip back when I want a quick and cheap bite to eat in Arlington. read more

Easily one of the most effiencent Chipotle's I've ever visited. Don't be intimidated by the long line that snakes through the restaurant during lunch, as the employees have an unparalleled production line. If you need to get something that is quick and fresh, I'd recommend stopping by this location. Last week, I was in a 30+ person line to order, when I noticed there was a line 1/3 as long waiting for online orders (must have been a bunch of first-timers..). By the time I ordered, paid, and was walking out the building, the third person in line was just stepping up to the online pickup window. This chipotle is insanely fast and I can always walk in at the end of a 30 people line and walk out in 5 minutes with my food. They are so attentive and prepare well for the lunch rush. In the year I've worked in Rosslyn, this Chipotle has gone straight downhill. My experiences at this location started off pretty strong and have slowly been downgraded to laughable. My most recent experience might be the final straw for this particular Chipotle. I got in around 12:30 so naturally it was jam-packed. The staff seemed to be doing a pretty good job of hurrying people through the line to get everyone in and out in a reasonable amount of time. That's where the positives stop. I got up to place my order - 3 soft tacos with brown rice. The tortillas were pressed and pushed down the line. Minimal rice - I can semi deal with that. Not the end of the world, right? Got some veggies on there, pretty happy about that. Barbacoa please! Yelpers reading this sad tale, I shit you not, I got 3 QUARTER sized lumps of barbacoa on each taco. QUARTER SIZED. I. Was. Dumbfounded. I was frozen. My brain and my mouth were just not communicating in that moment. The friend I was getting lunch with immediately began laughing at me because she saw my face. I heard her say "ask them to give you more." My jaw was dropped but no words were coming out. I was that shocked at how little meat was on the tacos. As descriptive as I want to be, no words can explain how sorry those little tacos were. I got up to my seat and began to eat my lettuce, cheese, and veggies on my tortillas. I had a salad wrapped in a tortilla with salsa dressing. It was depressing and I was sad. I'm giving this place a solid 1. Damn you, Chipotle. I doubt I'll be visiting this location again. read more

Right down the street from my hotel, and open late enough to score a meal while still in a California time zone state of mind. Plus, I had some flight delays so there wasn't much in the way of options for a 9pm dinner on a Monday in walking distance of my hotel. Regardless, Chipotle tends to be a safe choice -- ironic, considering the chain's bad reputation in the last few months. This Chipotle is in a safe looking area. The restaurant is clean and spacious. It also has some outdoor seating. When I ate there last night during the last hour it was open, the crowd looked to be on the younger side. The person helping with my order was a bit hard to understand, but that might have very well gone both ways. In any case, I ended up with a delicious chicken salad bowl, topped with fajita veggies, corn, mild salsa, and black beans. Yum! And the best part? No food poisoning! read more

If you love Chipotle as much as I do, go to another Chipotle. My husband and I walked-in on a Sunday, to a well-staffed, but not busy location. We stated we wanted two salad bowls and they started to make the first one (despite 5 people behind the counter, only one person was making food, while others were running around putting stickers on each other). They were very skimpy on the ingredients; there was less than 1 scoop of chicken, and I had to ask multiple times for more lettuce... for a salad. Once they completed the first bowl, we asked about the second and the person behind the counter said he had to make online orders... so we waited... for a second under-filled bowl. I would make a complain to Chipotle corporate too, but this location isn't even listed on their website as a location. read more

chipotle is kinda like corn flakes. Its what u need when u need it. Oh, and it isn't expensive but it is good quality. Uh, forget the analogy between quality and corn flakes....oh well. This one is right next to Artisphere which is good, because if you get to there an hour prior to a performance, you'll be walking far to somewhere to eat besides chopt (hmmm). Every single time I order from this Chipotle on Door Dash my food arrives cold, sopping wet, incorrect, or all three. I always order a burrito bowl and several times they have forgotten key ingredients. I could understand if they forgot a topping, but once they forgot to give me rice. RICE! Another time they forgot to put beans in my vegetarian bowl so all I had was rice and toppings. Another time my food was correct, but they must've not drained the beans before putting them in my bowl so my order arrived and it was a literal bowl of cold burriot soup. I will not order from this place anymore and suggest others stay away until they properly train their employees. read more
