Ate here today, we are on vacation from San Diego; and I'm glad we stopped here for lunch!!! Was greeted with smile, food looked great and tasted even better. My husband and I had chicken bowls, and my daughter had 2 carne asada tacos. Place was clean, including the bathrooms. What really caught my attention, besides the delicious food , was to see happy, welcoming, smiling faces taking our orders. Friendly employees are here. Qdoba has quite a few locations in the DC area. Definitely a clean spot to get some grub. Parking is a cinch. Yes you're in Baileys Crossroads, so expect it to be busy at times. Close to route 7 and Columbia Pike. The food is decent. I usually go with a chicken bowl. Tacos are good as well, and plenty of choices. This is a lot like Chipotle or Baja Fresh. That's not saying to dissuade anyone, but this is fast food after all. It's a shame because I could see from outside that the staff were meticulously trying to clean even before I walked in. The staff were working very hard and were attentive. With the owners note from my last experience I wanted to give this place another try. However, it was much more disappointing as to why the staff were cleaning so hard. I don't write this lightly. I saw a roach and when my friend tried to flick it towards me (I know, he's childish), I let out a little Yelp and the staff asked "are you okay. What did you see?" And I'm like "a roach...". They didn't seem surprised. You know when everyone is in on a secret and they start giving each other eyes as to how to cover this secret up? That's what I saw from the staff... and quickly a staff member came over to the customer side of the covid plastic barrier and tried to address it. Had the chicken burrito, and found it to be more rice then main ingredients. Server was extremely skipped on the chicken, and the soft burrito shell skin was a bit tough when I bit into it. Found the burrito, even with the various fillings in it, chicken, rice, corn, sour cream, tomato, pinto beans, lettuce and cheese to not have a real taste; very bland. Had an excellent experience at this QDOBA! Ordered a burrito bowl with chicken, cilantro lime rice, black beans, shredded cheese, cilantro, lettuce, guac, and pico de gallo. Everything was tasting very fresh!!! Love the option to add more cilantro as I am a cilantro lover! The portion size was great! To be honest I prefer QDOBA over chipotle. I don't know what they put in the food at this Qdoba. I ate here on December 3rd and shortly after I had horrible diarrhea for over 24 hours. I question the cleanliness and sanitation of this place. Qdoba wasn't bad but wasn't great. I came in on an empty Saturday afternoon- planned on eating in but seemed like they had a homeless guy asleep inside so didn't feel too safe. They made my burrito pretty quick but the meat was a bit cold like it was sitting out without anything keeping it warm. The meat doesn't compare quality wise to their main competitor. Bottom line: We rely on Qdoba for the ultimate tostada salads! And they are delivered nicely via Grubhub and DoorDash. This is the only place we know of locally that will make and deliver tostada salads. They serve them in those crunchy, flaky tostada bowls. You can load it with beans, rice, cauliflower, many types of meats, grilled veggies, many types of salsas, cheese, sour cream and guacamole! It's also a pretty good deal for how substantial these salads are. They are packaged very nicely, so they don't get messed up in transit. Highly recommend. Ordered delivery and this is based on the restaurant since they make the food and not the driver. They not only forgot my husbands chips for his nachos, my burrito was made entirely wrong with the wrong meat and rice. The only thing 100% correct was my son's quesodilla and chips. Got delivery from Qdoba yesterday, ordered directly from their website and it was delivered by DoorDash. The order came super fast and was almost 100% correct, which feels like a total rarity during these times! The only small hiccups were that guac was added to my husband's bowl when he didn't ask for it (not a problem for us, but just was technically incorrect) and the regular queso does have a bit of a kick to it still, so I had to scrape it off of my daughter's nachos (my own fault for ordering it, but I had assumed that since they had a "diablo queso" option, the regular wouldn't be spicy at all.) I got a grilled steak bowl, and it had all the fixins. I love the additional options you can get here, including cotija, bacon, and the fact that guac doesn't cost extra! ;) Got a side of chips & queso with it, as well as a soda. This was my first time eating here and with covid19 it's always nice to get out and enjoy some sort of #Life We were able to sit inside, however there is limited seating so be aware. Awful awful service, I came here at 1:20 on May 20th, 2021 for reference in this review. They rush you and spend half the time talking rude things in Spanish in front of you, huffing and grumbling. I've been there multiple times and have yet to have a pleasant experience. They for some reason can't hear either which leads me to have to yell over the counter and maybe if they spent less time talking to their coworkers in the middle of a busy dinner shift then they would be better at their customer service portion of their jobs. If I could I would honestly give it no stars. Perhaps this should be rectified as talking ill about your customers in front of them, especially in Spanish, a language I can fully comprehend but may not look like I speak... is never acceptable. read more

I have never had a complaint. I love the people who work here; their customer service is great! My food is always hot and never tastes like it's been 'staying warm' for a long time. Their queso is 1000x better than Chipotle and this is coming from someone who was actually estatic when Chipotle announced they we're adding queso to their menu (severely disappointed). I normally get the nachos and love that I can get my chips on the side. This is perfect since I normally pick up my food & the queso reheats well for those rare times that I don't finish my food. There was a good chunk of time in college spent surviving on Qdoba and their $1 taco lunch special. 12 years later, I'm still a fan. This location is always clean, the service is friendly and efficient, and the ingredients are fresh. I usually opt for a quesadilla, and they never skimp on the meat and fillings. I'm also a complete sucker for the chips and queso - hot (not lukewarm), right texture, and the perfect amount of spice - the portion is also super generous compared to places like District Taco. And the fact that you get free queso and guacamole with an entree - can't beat it. Why would you pay over $2 at Chipotle for the same thing?! Each trip has been consistently good, and the staff serves the food up quick and friendly like!!! Also, I agree with Alicia and James that the food tastes and seems fresher than Chipotle and Moe's (btw, I've gotten moldy tortilla's from Moe's, but that's a different review). This place is great. Service is always good and fast. I still have my college ID so I'm able to take advantage of the student night discounts on Monday and Tuesday until 8pm. My fiance' and I will normally get two entree's, two drinks and queso for $10 or less!!! Amazing deal when we do not feel like cooking. They are also always handing out coupons and doing specials.
