They know me by name, say hi when I come in and always have my order ready. Whether it's a holiday weekend or 14 inches of snow and ice, they open and they are still just a pleasant and kind as any other day. Whenever I order I person the portions are kind of small and the times I order online through delivery especially the portions are just straight up terrible, it's like they put crumbs of protein into the bowls. Wanted to try the limited carne asada so I stopped in here yesterday for lunch. It was my first time at this location. I had a free entree reward that I wanted to redeem. I tried to place a mobile order ahead of time but it wasn't working. Decided to go inside and place my order. Before ordering I was told they weren't accepting cash or mobile orders. I guess that would explain why I couldn't order from the app. Overall, not a bad meal nor did I have a terrible experience. They were out of corn though and that's a staple for me at any Chipotle! I've never been a big fan of Chipotle and I think it's probably one of the worst chains, and most overrated and misunderstood (like Subway - neither are healthy at all! For some reason, the Chipotle location near Target off of Cherry Hill Rd has tended to not agree with my stomach. Further, I don't like to drive to the Four Corners area due to traffic congestion. Thus, I've been ordering my last few times from this location. Compared to other locations, I've had ZERO issues with timeliness of the order being read. ZERO issues with order accuracy, and of course ZERO issues with quality. I alternate between the chicken tacos and a chicken burrito - both are pretty solid at any Chipotle location. The new quesadillas have been delicious from this one. Not sure where all the negative reviews are coming from - but I've had no problems at all here. I went in there yesterday to buy some food and the ladies were kinda ok not to good or too bad even though they could be a lot better. The check lady was the worse, its a young girl and she had a bad attitude, no hi no smile , nothing. I asked her how much did the lizz drink cost and she replied to me with unfriendly voice and she was exhaling like I am making her carry 10000lbs on her back, She looked mad and acted mad. like its personal. I love Chipotle, it's my go to fast food restaurant. Everything always tastes amazing, and let's face it, who doesn't love Chipotle? I was staying in Silver Spring for a week and this Chipotle happened to be a minute from my house. I have to say, this is the slowest Chipotle I've ever been to. The line is always to the door, and it took about a half hour from when I walked in to when I actually got my food. Aside from the slow service, oftentimes, the ingredients are not prepared. One of the times that I went there, someone forgot to make a batch of guacamole, and a customer was told that they had to wait 45 minutes before it became ready. And it seems like they're always waiting on some ingredients to come through at any given time. It's just a big mess over here. But I'm a fatty who loves burritos, so I kept going in even though the service was terrible lol I know giving them one star is harsh, but this place needs new management or to retrain their employees because the service is not acceptable. If I can find one good thing to say about this location, the employees aren't rude. They're just slow and never have the fajita vegetables ready lol read more

I am a fan of Chipotle and their product. I am from Texas and go to Chipotle once a week. I am here in Silver Spring for work and this is my second time coming to this location. Number one issue is the poor customer service. Employees rush you in line and assume your toppings rather than waiting for you to answer. Chips lack lime flavoring or salt. Today as I was finding correct change for my purchase, the employee reached over me to the next customer in line and said "I'm going to the next person while you figure it out." Thankfully the next person in line declined to skip me. Horrible customer service and poor attitudes of employees each time I come here. Please do better with this location. This experience was better than the ones I had previously. Usually they don't have certain foods items ready the kitchen always looks a hot mess. On this visit all of the food was available. However the dining room was a mess the tables that weren't occupied we're not cleaned off. The food doesn't taste exactly like the other Chipotle's. I came to this Chipotle because I wasn't in the mood to cook . What I ordered isn't important in this matter but how I was treated is what was so disappointing. The service coordination was off as the food was being prepared- one person took the order while waiting for others to join the service to complete the order then i had to wait for 5 mins for someone to come and ring up the food . After standing literally 5 mins the food was cold. I then ask for new order because I waited too long and the food was not hot anymore -the cashier after putting the food in bag she picks the bag up and subtly tosses it to me . My reaction in my mind was to get a refund in a nano second I felt victimized because yes I was hungry the line had accumulated within the 5 mins that I was standing at the register. So i was stuck feeling befuddled and taken. I didn't want to inconvenience those behind me and my decision to patronize the restaurant as opposed to other options was not valued. If I was in a different head space and young that incident would not have been very pretty. I have seen many episodes of "when food service goes wrong ". I will be shelving this place for a minute.
