The young general manager on duty took our order and helped me choose a family combo, offering several great options to fit our needs. Her dedication to customer service was outstanding. Consistently selling sodas without syrup or carbonation or a combo of the above. This is the 4-5th time in 5 months they always have issues. And wait for customer to complain before they put an "out of order" sign in the machine. (I know they still sell delivery orders and don't care their sodas are bad). Sunday Football ruined. I did a bundle order to be delivered 9/29/2024. Delivery was great. Gentleman handed me my bad. I open the bag Fries sitting on top just open nothing covering them at all. They were so greasy I ended up throwing them away. The should have cooked the longer to crispy at least put in a container with a cut in it to allow the steam to release. I placed an order with Bryan over the phone and he called me back to let me know that the store policy is that an order over $30 requires a credit card. I provide simple instructions in my order in 2 different places to "please make my wings extra, extra crispy, fried hard, & very well done." Well today was the last straw. The pros to this Wingstop in Takoma Park, Maryland that my husband and I enjoyed during our last visit less than 3 weeks ago; the wings were delicious. My husband has teriyaki flavored wings while I had lemon pepper and garlic parmesan. The employees handling and serving our food were polite and the chicken was well cooked. Additionally, the music that was played added to a pleasant atmosphere. I wanted to rate this place higher with the nice employees and the chicken coming out well cooked. However, the fries could have been cooked with at least some type of seasoning andor freshness. The fries I ate were a little on the tough side texture wise and I have had better from the frozen aisle of a grocery story. However, I understand that the way the fries came out tastewise probably had less to do with how they were prepared/cooked and more with maybe the brand of fries that were on the menu. If my husband and I were to ever return, I would maybe get the wings but pass on the fries. For those still deciding, maybe you might like the fries more than I did so maybe ask for a sample of a fry if they might offer a sample, before taking a chance on getting a regular order of fries. I admit that I have certain standards for wings and fries as my husband and I have tried and ate at Dick's Wings and Grills in Florida before and I was hoping that the taste might at least come close. read more
