    Gyro
    Farhat K.

Absolutely filling and delicious. I ordered the gyro and it was everything I could've wanted. The lamb slices were juicy and tasty, the tzatziki sauce was on point (should asked them to put it on the pita first, and then the gyro meat, and then some more on top), and the pita was solid too. I ordered the hummus appetizer to be for takeout, and when I got home, it tasted great. The inside has some chairs and tables for seating and eating. Good amount of parking outside. The people working were pretty nice and my food came out within 10 mins (wasn't super busy). I'm definitely going to check them out again.

Came here randomly after looking up some Greek places nearby. Was NOT disappointed after just having the side salad ‍ everything was perfect with it. Didn't expect it to be that good for a side salad (think Cesar..). The chicken souvlaki sandwich? Fire!! WILL DEF come back Great good, great service! Lots of people coming in and out picking up orders or making them and others dining in like myself. It was a good spot for my first time.

Located in Hillandale shopping center where urban BBQ used to be. Order at the counter, if you're eating in they'll bring it to the table. Pop music was Greek to me. While this little outpost has corporate looking decor ,the food is pretty close to the original. Gyro salad turned out to be a good choice. Savory slices of gyro topped with layers of vegetables and rice, with a little tzatziki and feta made etch bite a little different. Served with fresh hot pita and lemony dipping oil. Good place to grab a bite that's a step up from industrial burgers. Four ****.

This was definitely a fantastic surprise! The gyro was so delicious and was so stuffed! The pita was fresh, just rightly toasted to perfection! I could've had more tzatziki sauce because I like it super saucy but it was good enough.I wish I ordered fries, they looked good at another table. Next time... Service was fast, the pleasant young man who took our order even brought them to our table. This cafe is kept clean including the bathroom. The location is so so but sometimes it's where you find hidden gems such as this.

I usually don't try new/different things but I decided to give the big Greek a chance. I order a Gyro as they were half price and the calamari. The bread on the gyro was DELICIOUS as was the the meat. Only thing I didn't like was all the Onions. The calamari was ok but I've definitely had better. The side of lettuce they give they might as well keep. The staff was extremely friendly. The place was nice and clean. I'll return for sure just to grab a gyro but I'll be sure to hold the onions.

Stopped in for a quick bit and was pleasantly surprised! The restaurant was clean, inviting and had a clear menu to read. I opted for the gyro and it came out very quickly. It was delicious with a warm pita and flavorful meat! I will definitely be back to try more of the menu - so much to offer!

Big greek bowl (chicken) - Not as big as the name suggest. The bowl was plenty of food for a normal serving but not more than many other rice bowl restaurants. The chicken was flavorful and moist although it didn't seem like there was much. I enjoyed the vegetables in the bowl a lot although they are vegetables I don't like at all restaurants (They did well on the vegetables). The white sauce was a very delicious yogurt taste and stood out as something I enjoyed a lot. The rice was very plain and had a sticky texture that didn't mix well in the bowl. Overall, not bad but not somewhere I would go again for a rice bowl. The fries had a great texture and were crispy even when cooled down. Although they didn't have any special flavor and could have used more salt. The price was high for the quality and quantity being very average. My friends got sandwiches and described them as decent but not a great value. The employees were friendly and could be seen working hard from the register. Service time wasn't fast, but was fair. Loved the music and art on the walls. Tables were clean and restaurant had a cool aesthetic.

    Spanakopita Platter
    Min Z.

The restaurant was clean and tidy, the service was nice, the food was good and the price was inexpensive. The portions were big. Overall it was a good dining experience. I would come back and support the alternative healthy fast food venues. We ordered 4*Spanakopita Platter with two side salads: Spanakopita was per normal. The two side salads were fresh and healthy. A nice sized portion of broccoli accompanied the main dish. Very decent and healthy fast food. 4*Horiatiki Village Salad: fresh and good. 4*Hummus: the bread was nice and warm. The humus was nice.

Gyro Pita with Greek french fries

Wife and I went for a lunch. This time we knew how big the portions were, and we ordered just one chicken salad bowl and an order of Greek French fries. Again enough food for a family of four! I was surprised to see so much rice in the bowl, but all in all, the meal was delicious. I own extra tzatziki and I was glad I did. I think this is a win.

Not a place that you would want to hang out, but the food is good and reasonably priced. It's one of our "go to" places in Silver Spring.
