Stopped by Chipotle in Tulsa for a quick bite and left satisfied. The chicken burrito was the highlight--flavorful, juicy, and well-balanced with rice, beans, and all the fixings. What really stood out, though, was the salsa. Fresh, bold, and packed with just the right amount of heat--it tied everything together perfectly. The service was efficient, the ingredients tasted fresh, and the line moved quickly even during lunch. It's a dependable spot when you want something fast but filling. food while i tend to prefer qdoba between the two burrito bar restaurants near the areas i've lived, the preference is a tossup for me, and i'll still have a taste for chipotle occasionally, depending on what i'm wanting to get in the bowl or burrito, with the chicken and queso being the primary appeals to me from the other restaurant. and while both restaurants offer healthy options for active people, from firsthand experience those on a weightlifting regimen especially. and while the tasty chicken and queso from the alternative can be conducive to quickening muscle recovery, after a heavy weightlifting workout especially, the veggie burrito bowl i tend to get at chipotle is more conducive to carb storage for a workout the next day or muscle recovery after a workout to maintain muscle development while burning any unnecessary fat, with the former option being a goal of the dining experience for me, in preparation for a moderate rep pull workout the following day. for the bowl, i'd asked for cilantro rice, black beans, fajita veggies, corn salsa, and guacamole, all of which were available on the serving line. and while i'm thankful for the heaping dollop of guacamole i'd received, considering that is one of two non meat options of which i know on the serving bar, i'd definitely ask for a free extra scoop of rice on any return visit to balance the generous portion. nonetheless the bowl was still quite delicious, with the guacamole certainly being neither overwhelming nor unwelcome. and the self serve agua fresca drink i'd ordered, of which i mixed the berry flavor and mango flavor, complemented the burrito bowl well. service the service at the topping bar was efficient, with the worker at the base and protein section being kind and polite, and the worker at the finishing section being kind also and straightforward. and lastly, the worker on the register was very polite, and helpful in providing the name of the agua fresca drink when i'd pointed toward the dispenser at the beverage station and said that is the drink i wanted. ambiance the ambiance is definitely indicative of assembly line fast food, though not totally uninviting. and further, i'd saw a friend from coming of lil bro, which added to a good ambiance also. read more

Got to be honest, I love Chipotle. But once in a while the gears jam up and things don't go as smoothly as they should. I always like to order in person when possible so that I can customize the order a little more to my liking than if I order through the app. And some things like Barbacoa quesadillas can only be ordered via the app. So today I'm doing a combination ordering a quesadilla through the app and then going to pick that up and then order my Chicken bowl. The ingredients always seem to be very fresh and the service is always great at this particular chipotle. However today I experienced several issues. The ice machine was not working in the Soda machine and the Coke Zero I poured out of the machine had no fizz at all... It was flat as a pancake. UPDATE: When I attempted to follow the directions in the restaurant response, the website refused my information. BEWARE, PEOPLE. The hours are good...open before lunch until after 9pm. Lots of parking, if you need that, likely serving the local neighborhood. HOWEVER, this is corporate food at its worst: very young people are running the line, and they clearly have little idea about what it takes to serve. Except for the first person (a delightful young lady), every other person was slow and sloppy. I asked for a sample size of the new protein (chicken al pastor) to take with me (in addition to the steak burrito bowl I ordered), and I was charged $4.20 FOR THE SAMPLE. I was NOT informed of the upcharge. Since there was a line forming behind me, I did not mention it in the store (ALWAYS GET YOUR RECEIPT, FOLKS). I was in a time-crunch to get home, but as soon as I did, I called. I have been trying to reach a human being in the store and at headquarters, and AI is in charge of everything. Ordered in the app. Pickup time was 12:20. I got there early and so I didn't mind waiting. There was about 9 people working and a steady stream of people coming in. I think they were also getting a catering order ready. 12:20 came and went and nothing l. At about 12:25 it said my order was ready to be picked up, but as I watched no one had made anything from my order. Only 3 of the six of seven people on the lines were actually making anything. After I pointed out the app says my order is ready they looked and found my ticket, it hadn't been started yet. It was another 10 minutes of waiting and watching nothing happen with my order. Then someone went through and made it in about two minutes. I guess I should avoid the app. As I went to grab the order, I was asked what my name was, as if I hadn't been there watching and waiting for 20 minutes. I ordered a burrito using the mobile order system and went to pick it up. I grabbed my correct bag off the shelf that said my name (which is not a common name). I got to my job and started eating my burrito and it's completely wrong. The protein was wrong, the beans were wrong, and the salsa was wrong. Im a reasonable person. If 1 thing was wrong I would have said whatever and moved on with my day. 3 things wrong? either they put the wrong sticker on the wrong bag or they substituted 3 things which both are not great. I should have gotten at least someone saying sorry we had to sub items. Im a vegetarian and my burrito had chicken on it. It sucked. I didn't have time to go get lunch elsewhere. I like the food but this particular location was really have a problem with cleanliness. All the tables were dirty, drinks and napkins/utensils area was dirty and the service area where they make the food was completely littered with debris, not a great look. Had to repeat myself several times with what I wanted for my order, which is fine, but honestly the front person seemed over worked/tired/over it and on autopilot. This cherry street location continues to struggle. Even under mgmt they constantly run out of multiple types of meat, cheese, guac, vegetables even straws and napkins. If I was the owner I would most definitely be wanting to know about these ridiculous issues. I go to this chipotle frequently at lunchtime since I work near downtown. 90% of the time I get the veggie bowl and most of the time it's great. There have been times when I waited at extra 20 min for my online order but today it was ready. My issue and why I am posting is because there was a piece of meat in my veggie bowl. I am not a strict vegetarian but I have been reducing my animal consumption. If I were a vegetarian then this would have sent me over the edge. I think the employees making the orders need to be extremely careful with this. My sister is vegetarian and I would not recommend her going there due to this happening. read more

They then proceed to charge me again for the chicken bowl (which is fine, but at least be upfront and acknowledge that you overcharged for the first bowl). Still unsatisfying. I'm never greeted or spoken too while they make my food. The staff seems very careless. I asked for white rice and quickly found out the rice was mushy and flavorless. The queso was cold and I didn't even bother with the disgustingly dark brown guacamole that they charge entirely to much for. Didn't look appealing at all. I experienced terrible service from the managers for a an order that was SUPPOSED TO BE delivered, but I was not told until that day that I had to come pick it up even though I spoke with their catering manager 4 days prior over the phone and she never once clarified that they wouldn't be able to deliver. When I came in to pick up my order, they did not start working in it until the time that appeared on the receipt that it was supposed to be pick up at. On top of everything, I was late due to the fact that they did not have my order together, the manager never once came to clear all of the mis-communication up and he still made me pay extra to add more chips and queso to my order. I had an order for 25ppl and they gave me 3 large bags of chips.....for an order of 25ppl. And I still had to pay extra for that.
