Excellent food and friendly service as always. Love their frozen lemonade this time of year. Easy to get in and out quickly.

My boyfriend and I came here in early January and loved it, so naturally we had to come back when I visited him again. The hospitality this time around, was short of mediocre. We went through the drive-thru, and I'm assuming the menu outside hasn't been updated in a while. I order the #1, Deluxe Hamburger. Now, I've done my time in food service. I know what deluxe toppings are. Nowhere on the picture or in the name did it insinuate it had cheese on it. So upon ordering, I ask for the #1 Deluxe Hamburger meal, add cheese with a Pepsi. The gentleman asks "so just meat and cheese" and my boyfriend corrects him "no, add cheese." So the cashier repeats back, "okay extra cheese?" And I'm shaking my head. I want one slice of cheese, with the deluxe toppings!!!!!!! Why is that so hard. I literally spell it out for him, I hold my boyfriend back and say "No, I'd like the deluxe hamburger, all the toppings included, just add cheese, please." Whatever, so he takes my boyfriends order then repeats it for us at the end "extra cheese" dear goodness I understand now that the conflicting menus are at fault, but I deliberately told him just one single slice of cheese. Once we are at the window (mind you we are their only customers, both DT and inside) the guy opens the window and holds his hand out for the card. So incredibly rude I've never been that rude even on my worst days as a drive-thru attendant. He didn't say one word to us the entire time, no smiling, nothing. I have 5 years experience in 3 different fast food jobs, so I KNOW the struggle with problematic customers, so I'm always mindful not to be one. But this worker was just plain rude and terrible with his job. Get home, and yep they charged us for extra cheese, which adds up when the meal for 2 is already about $30. Very disappointed this time around, but the food was perfect, so I am indifferent about them closing down. read more

Wow. This close (finger and thumb held in close proximity to one another) to getting five stars but not quite. I love burgers. No surprise. I had driven past this place many times and I finally decided it was time to give them a try. It's a drive-thru with tables and chairs outside if you want to eat there (although most people I saw ate in their cars). The first thing that caught my eye was a bacon cheeseburger. How can you go wrong? I ordered the meal, which included a sweet tea and curly fries. I drove to the window and paid the lady and she handed me a drink the size of a waste paper basket. I had never seen anything this big. It took a few minutes but I was soon handed a brown paper bag and wished a nice day, or whatever. When I looked inside, there was the burger and fries but no ketchup and she had already closed the window. I was on the left side, so I would have to climb into the passenger seat to be able to reach the window to knock on it, so I went without ketchup and they lose one star. The hamburger was the best I've had since I moved to Tulsa. Hands down. The patty could have been a bit bigger but the flavor was wonderful. The bacon added to it, of course but the best part was that the tomato and onions and pickles were not processed (well, the pickles were). They were cut up fresh. Not like other fast food restaurants that use frozen and thawed vegetables. The french fries were curly and really good but they needed ketchup. I'll go again, and if they don't give me ketchup next time, I'll give them a copy of this review. The people there, by the way, are some of the nicest I've dealt with at a restaurant here. I am a cheeseburger advocate. Don't misunderstand, I like all types of burgers but there is some thing about a good ole fashioned cheeseburger that sets the world right with me. I remember the first time I ate at Burger Street. My granny and I stopped in one day after church and got lunch. It was love at first bite. Not too big, not to small, they're not greasy or too heavy. They condiments are just like I make my burgers at home and they have perfectly prepared curly fries, YES curly fries!!! I have eaten at a lot of burger joints and rarely have negative comments about a burger joint. When I moved to KC in 2005 I remember asking people where the best burger joints were located and they really couldn't tell me. Now since then, of course, I have discovered some wonderful places but the thing I found interesting is: this is exactly the opposite in Tulsa, OK. You ask someone when you can go to get a great burger and there are a barrage of answers and Burger Street always finds itself among those places being recommended! Yummy best burger in town. Good and cheap. Very clean and prompt service. Ruben and Darrel are very nice. My only complaint was too much salt on my fries. Ruben suggested to tell them next time they will leave it off. My first time here. Very small inside but plenty of seating outside on picnic tables. Also drive thru if you're in a hurry. Lots of lettuce, tomato, and red onions on my burger. All fresh and delicious. Everything made to order like the old days. We're definitely coming back. read more

They've changed the menu over the years- their curly fries used to be just like their neighbor/rival across the street (home of the roast beef sandwich) but I really like the current fry versions! Their hamburgers are a lot thicker now, but I usually order the small burger since the 1/3 is too much with the fries and a drink. OMG- frozen lemonade!! Doesn't matter the season- order it. Try the cherry syrup addition for a nice change. :) Try their cheese stuffers- diced hash browns mixed with green chilies and cheese, breaded then fried. Just a little seating area with mainly drive through business. If it wasn't raining we would have taken advantage of the outdoor seating. We had the olive burgers. They were relatively large; a meal in itself. The buns were really fresh as well as the burger and the toppings. They were not stingy with the olives either. The menu has quite a few yummy appetizers. Tonight the Ruben the guy running drive through was so nice and helpful with the menu and it łquestions we had about the area. My honey got the #2 and he said it was delicious. I just had the regular cheese burger and I enjoyed. My favorite thing though was their curly fries. Oh my gosh they were so good. This place is a guilty indulgence. It's ever the more tempting for being in walking distance of my place. But honestly, I think they may well be the best fast-food burgers in town. Grilled up fresh, with a perfect balance of mayo, ketchup, mustard, lettuce, onion, tomato and pickles on top of them, they've got lots of flavor and feel oh-so-deliciously unhealthy. The curly fries are plain wicked. The staff here appears to change regularly and the sign out front seems to perpetually say "now hiring." Weirdly, as a chain, they're also essentially unknown outside of the Dallas and Tulsa metropolitan areas. No matter, as the product is always the same. Granted, I pretty much always order the same thing: a deluxe cheeseburger set. But I can't think of another fast food joint that hits the spot the same way. read more

Like Derek R said, these really are my favorite fast-food burgers. Nothing fancy. Just a plain-Jane burger. If I'm in a "TREAT YO' SELF!" kind of mood, I'll get chili-cheese fries instead of normal fries. They are deeeeelicious! Sometimes you are in a hurry and you have to catch a meal between point A and point B (or your job has you working from a vehicle going to points A, B, C, D, and so on). If you want a hot tasty meal delivered from the drive thru window so you're on your way fast, then this is your place. The burgers are always fresh and hot, right off the grill. I'll be honest, I wasn't that impressed for the price. Don't get me wrong, the burgers were good. But they were pretty similar to every other fast food burger, but cost about twice as much. It was VERY busy in the middle of the day, though, so that let's me know that I'm in the minority on not thinking this place the cat's meow. Also, I'm not just a big burger person, so that could have weighed on it, too. The pluses were that the two women working were VERY polite and fast. I was pretty surprised out how quickly we moved through when I realized it was just two of them, considering that they had cars lined up at the drive thru and people at the walk up window. I went to Burger Street Tuesday December 12th my total order total was $10.56 for a burger curly fries and one drink I ordered extra onions on my burger they repeated it three times to me so I figured they got it right I live all the way 25 miles from there try to eat my burger on the way home there's not a single onion on my burger I call whoever answered the phone hung up in my face took me about another 10 minutes to get ahold of somebody he said he was the manager was going to call me back in 20 minutes they were going to make it right for me well his punk ass never called me back I've called up there two or three times and they say their managers not there I'll never go back to Burger Street ever again biggest waste of money the burger was nasty the curly fries were nasty I also ordered an apple pie which was it in my bag worst Food I've ever had and to pay $10.56 that's ridiculous read more

Without a single doubt the best fast food burger around. Prices are a bit higher than the rest of the quick service restaurant family but absolutely worth it. For such a tiny store the burgers and service are close to mind blowing. If you haven't been to Burger Street you need to at least give it a shot. read more

I agree with the statement "The hamburger was limp and the bun soaked by the time I ate it", too much grease. On top of that, the cook got the order wrong. (I ordered plain and dry and had to scrape it.) I called them to report it so that they could pay better attention for the next person who came through. The person who answered the phone failed customer service and wound up not taking a note. I was not asking for refund, I just wanted the next person to have a better experience. The burger was barely edible. I have had better from this place so was disappointed. Note** Check your order before leaving and have anything you want put on the burger put on the side maybe to help keep it from going soggy and limp. read more
