It's overwhelmingly tasty but consequently leaves your stomach roaring for the nearest toilet. I couldn't master any physical activity after my lunch so a nap it was. This is sad. I like chipotle but the one at Green acres mall is terrible. I bought a bowl today and first of all the chicken was cold and it tasted like it had been sitting there for a while. I must as an avid chipotle customer this has to be the most disappointing location. I ordered a chicken bowl and they skimped on the amount of chicken they gave, i had to ask for more beans just so that i could actually have protein in the bowl. Next, the guacamole was literally brown, which I understand occurs, but then they added fresh guac on top and when i was going to ask for some of the fresh one , the worker said she has to mix them together.. now everything was brown and unappealing. This Chipotle is not like other chipotle's. And I don't mean that in a good way. They are pretty unorganized and messy. They drop other food into the food compartments and don't attempt to remove it. The girl who was filling the chips bag dipped her hand in the chips container and ate from it then proceeded to eat from it. With the same gloves on she went to clean the area with utensils and spilled drinks. They almost charged me for double meat when I did not ask for double meat. The girl had the audacity to ask me "isn't this your bowl". Responded yes but I did not ask her to place double meat. I was not paying extra. They charged it as regular. I was glad that they finally opened up a Chipotle in Valley Stream. The food is pretty good and the service is decent when compared to how quickly they get your order together in Manhattan. Then I called this Chipotle store in Valley Stream and was informed that there is a shortage but they are accommodating online orders. Therefore, I placed my order online. When I placed my order online, I added a side of guacamole. At first I was upset because the side was not in my pick-up bag, but then I explained my situation to Andre and he was very helpful and accommodating by fixing my order. This place is a disaster in terms of waiting. I ordered 1 bowl at 1:50 for 2 pm pickup, arrived at the place at 2 and was told to wait. By 2:08 I was still waiting and the guy who arrived before me was still waiting, and another lady had shown up and been told to wait. There was one lady making the online orders and once the regular customer lines had dissipated, 3 other employees standing around. I went Chipotle in Green Acres today and observed some very disgusting practices. There was a cashier handling cash and without washing her hands or putting on gloves refill the containers with cutlery (forks). She then stood on a chair in the dining area to use as a "ladder" to refill the ice machine. Added to that she kept on her dirty crocs while standing on the chair. Unfortunately innocent customers like me have to sit on those chairs. Don't they have a step ladder for that purpose? They also need to frequently clean the condiment area and refill or replace the hot sauce etc; instead of having empty bottles lying around. One garbage bin was literally overflowing and you have more than six employees on staff and it's not busy. I have gone to several chipotles in Manhattan area and saw on more than one occasions a team member put on a clean pair of gloves and refill the cutlery caddy. Also the staff constantly cleaning the dining area. I thought this was a given. Green Acres chipotle staff' please do better than this! read more

If I could give this restaurant a -100 I would. I went to this restaurant after work and it was the worst decision ever! I ordered my meal and sat ready to enjoy what everyone been excited about. This is my 3rd time eating chipotle. I wanted something different so I decided to eat from here. I got good poisoning from here. As I ate I couldn't even finish my meal. I felt sick half way through. I got home around 8 unwind and drank some tea. I started throwing up around midnight for 1 hour. My throat was soar from throwing up so much. My stomach was tender and in pain. I was so excited when I found out Chipotle was opening up near me, and I didn't have to drive to Westbury to eat my fav food of all time... Every Chipotle location that I've been to after it first opened has a bit of growing pains the first few weeks, and this location has definitely gotten better. Here is a picture that I am se ding viral as we speak about one of your employees located in Valley Stream Green Acres Mall. As you can see he is NOT wearing his mask properly and when asked to he refused to adjust it! I repeatedly asked him to and he proceeded to serve other customers. At one point I believe he even sneezed which is why I decided to videotape him. I then asked for a manager and he responded "I am the manager!" I asked him where could I send these pics at which time he told me to Google it! This is very disgusting, reckless and irresponsible behavior in a food service establishment not to mention in the middle of a epic Pandemic where lives are continuing to be lost! I was originally going to steer my family away from this particular location due to the 2 star rating, but they were starving earlier today and desperately wanted Chipotle. It's pretty small compared to the ones in the city with just a few tables, but it was very clean. No wait on a Sunday afternoon. We were in and out within a few minutes. Staff was efficient, gave generous portions compared to the ones in the city. They gave us equal amounts of everything we asked for. I shared a spicy steak burrito with L and it was enough for the two of us. D had a chicken burrito and he was almost in a food coma. Food tasted fresh, much better than the one I had last week in midtown. Maybe we just got lucky? I've never tried a burrito bowl in NY, only in Virginia, but I noticed everyone had bowls... Everybody watching their calorie intake...I only eat half anyway. This was definitely better than what we've had in the past. Just come when there's no line. read more

I'm a big fan of Chipotle in general , and was thrilled to have this location open so close... However, after two visits I am less than thrilled with the Green Acres store. I wrote off the first visit to opening week kinks, but a month in and they are still not up to Chipotle standards. Went in at 11:40, soon after they opened and noticed the guacamole was brownish and the tomatoes has that whitish discoloration from sitting in plastic wrap over night. The staff was nice, but still struggled to wrap a burrito. When I got home I found the chips stale and totally unseasoned and a hair in my burrito. Come on, this is not the dollar menu, if you are gonna charge $11 bucks for lunch it better be spot on. They get one more shot, but I fear this is what happens to standards with expansion. read more

I was so excited to finally have my beloved Chipotle near my neighborhood so I make it a point to get there early to avoid the long lines..I order my usual, burrito bowl with white rice, carnitas and everything except guac.. When I say everything that includes the salad dressing.. Looses a star for the server making me request for more than a half spoon of rice and they loose a second star for making me tell him that he didn't put enough carnitas in my bowl( making me look greedier than I already am). Lol. As i am telling the server this another customer agreed and requested that the appropriate amount be added to his bowl too. Half a spoonful is not the standard... So, i get home about ten minutes later to find that the dressing that followed my burrito bowl down to the cashier never made it in my bag!! (Ok, no biggie.. I'm starving so I dig in and begin crunching on the coldest, hardest rice that I have ever tasted..the beans were an unrecognizable mush and the sauces seemed to have a gelatinous texture to them. (Third star) Now I'm wondering if this is last night's leftover's or if someone needs to read the Chipotle recipe book because the clearly seems like bootleg knock off... So much for convenience.
