I don't know why this location is rated so low, but it's one of the only ones that scoops with love, I feel like.lol. They don't serve like the food comes out of their paycheck, they're all young and quick workers and never seem to have an attitude despite the rush it gets. I added beans, corn, and lettuce to my soft tacos. Every time I come, I ask for 3 to 5 sides of cheese because I like my cheese cold and not melted. The employees always accommodate with no issues. Honestly this would be one star if I had ordered this in store. I want to preface this was an online order and made directly through the chipotle app. Both of these orders specified double chicken but one of these bowls did also include extra rice. The other extra beans and cheese. The result? Both half empty bowls that look poorer than the one you get in store. Normally this would not be an issue HOWEVER, the food was abysmal. Chicken that's at best been drying under a heat lamp for an hour and at worst reheated from last night. Rice bland as can be, half mushy have hard (clearly partly reheated and mixed in from the night prior) with the only highlights beaning beans and cheese which, really is pathetic. Now I understand if this order was late night before closing or first one out on a slow morning shift (despite those still not being justification for chicken jerky with rice porridge and crispy rice bits) but this was ordered at 12:30 pm and ready by 1:30 pm. They had to be busy for this to warrant such a long wait time so why is this food actual catering from leftovers of a fridge? I have no reason to frequent here despite its proximity to other commerce sites and I would Reccomend anyone planning to order ahead to just avoid it. If you want a shit experience especially with the newly promoted Chipotle family meals, just drive the extra miles to Oceanside or Elmont. Edit: When the experience is so disappointing you have to finally make your first review to warn other people about it. TLDR: Abysmal Wait Time, Poor quality of food preparation mixed with yesterday's leftovers and skimping portions despite explicit instructions to add more and payment of said extra via double protein. My bowl came with such small portions of food paid 0.75 extra for honey chipotle chicken and there was barely any pieces of chicken in my bowl in the first place. As we tried to walk in through the mall entrance the gate was pulled down in front of us by the manager. The floors and tables are filthy. The beverage station is filthy and the drink are cliser to water than they are to soda. A little boy was told the restroom was closed at about 9:30 by the manager who had complained earlier about a woman dirty-ing the restroom so it was closed for the rest of the night. They close the "restaurant" at 11pm though. Also a worker cursed at her manager and told her not to f-ing touch her ever and to go do her 1 job instead of putting it on anyone else. They carried on hollering and cursing at each other, then started putting up the chairs as myself and other customers were still eating. This place looks like a high school cafeteria. Buyer beware they Discriminate against people here. I actually had the Manager Patricia refuse to give me my order and scold other people who attempted to try to help. She never checked the system and stopped others from doing as well. Our whole conversation she refused to even look at me or speak to me as if it would lower her to acknowledge my presence. Host by the name of Shantahja was extremely rude and unpleasant. Up until this point it was a very typical chipotle experience. Upon checking out I was trying to tell her what I had ordered, her response was "I wasn't talking to you," and proceeded to ring up when wrong items. After I corrected her 2 additional times she said I didn't hear you; obviously the breakdown in communication was on her and lack of customer service. She completed the transaction by tossing my order in the bag and pushing it toward me. We have ordered Uber eats from this location a few times and there is always one or two missing items but this order was the worst. We had ordered a burrito, a kids meal, chips/guacamole, chips/salsa, and queso. We received the burrito, the queso and sloppy mess of the kids "meal". The only part of the kids meal that was provided was an inedible taco (it's supposed to come with two, a kids side and a drink). It looked disgusting. The taco had no filling other than rice, and only had half the shell which was essentially turned into mush somehow. The drink and the side were also missing. I just went to Chipotle, ordered 3 tacos, and was told that it was $10.49 I paid in cash and was told that I needed exact change. I was told that there were no coins in the register! So even if they had less than the exact change from my $11.00 I would not be getting anything back. I really don't believe that there were no coins in the register, this sounds like a scam to me. I know of no other business that operates like this. I'd like to know who keeps all the extra money when people overpay. You are being penalized when you pay cash. This is ridiculous! This review is solely based on the service as the food is fine. I've been coming to this Chipotle since it first opened. I don't ever feel like going out of my way to go one town over for a Chipotle so I always opted for this one. However, today really ruined it for me. The woman working the first part of the section, was rolliing her eyes and was basically whispering to a customer. The customer was frustrated and kept having to repeat what she said and could not hear what the worker was asking her. This to me was the first star off. Why in the world are you whispering? There's a glass window between you and the customer to separate things from getting into the food. Also, she was getting frustrated and at one point told the customer that she could not hear the customer, when in fact, the customer could not hear her. -1 star Secondly, when it was my turn, I had told the woman at the counter (who was new and it was very obvious) that I wanted a steak burrito bowl with the tortilla on the side. She thought I had said steak burrito and bowl. When I had repeated my order and told her I would like the bowl and the tortilla on the side, she looked at me as I was destroying her life. She threw the tortilla on the floor and rolled her eyes. I had told her that I wanted the tortilla before she threw it away but proceeded to do it and disregarded what I wanted. -1 star Moving on, I asked for half steak and half chicken, she looked at me and said, "what?" and I said, I would like half steak and half chicken please. She rolled her eyes again ONCE more and sighed. -1 star Then she told me in a rude manner, "please go over there, the other person will help you." with such disdain in her voice. -1 Teach your workers professionalism and train them better. I had to tell the manager on duty Jaden Varney who was very nice and knew what he was doing..Just by my gazing over the place as I ate I found this team worked very well together.. This chipotle was not created equal.... they put all the other chipotles to shame. The way the young lady made my burrito was pure perfection, every bite has the amazing flavors. It wasn't like some burritos that have toppings on one end and rice on the other. The customer service was on point everyone was so friendly and genuinely looked happy to be there. This is my local Chipotle.when I found out they were opening a Chipotle at Green Acres mall, I was very hesitant to come in and give it a try. I think everyone who knows Green Acres or anything affiliated with this mall knows my pain. I was absolutely wrong. This Chipotle location isn't bad at all. It's located in the mall(has its own entrance) and it's right across from Panera Bread. The staff here works fast and they aren't stingy if you ask them for a little extra of something. The food is always fresh and just the right temperature. I've never encountered any attitudes or bad vibes from the staff which is a plus. Great thing about eating here is that after or before you eat, you can browse around the mall or shop. Parking is available so that's also a plus.
