This location is always busy when I'm here. Literally, never a dull moment inside and all tables are usually filled up. One thing I like about it is that the line moves relatively quickly and the staff is always on top of ensuring everyone is satisfied. On this particular occasion, I went in for lunch. Again, busy. I moved in the line and ordered a steak bowl. I was a little frustrated because they didn't have peppers available and didn't necessarily give me a time frame of when it would be ready. That's typically my favorite part. Now, I probably should have dove more into it, but the line was long behind me and I didn't want to hold them up. I quickly checked out and feel like everytime I do, it gets more expensive but its totally worth it. Most Chipotle's have good food, okay service and generally unclean lobby's. This one also fell within those catagories. We arrived around 6:30 to no line a 50% full lobby but being the next person in line to order it took 5 minutes to get to us. It appeared they were out of a lot of items as the staff members kept going to the to-go line to fill my order. I seen this location was 2 stars and it makes kinda sense. Chipotle Mexican Grill is definitely my go-to to when it comes to fast food. I usually go with their burrito bowl and while I mix it up with my choice of proteins, I would say my two most common are either the steak or the chicken (or a combination of the two). The company was started back in 1993 by a gentleman named Steve Ells in Denver, Colorado and has since grown into an international brand with thousands of locations. Quite an impressive growth trajectory in not even thirty years. I we'll also say that Chipotle Mexican Grill has also changed the face and concept of fast food dining. They have even rebranded themselves as fast casual to take away a bit of the stigma that the term "fast food" generates. If you are looking for a real Mexican dining experience, Chipotle Mexican Grill is not the place for you. Chipotle Mexican Grill is extremely Americanized and probably the most Mexican thing about this restaurant is that the word "Mexican" is in their business name. However, that is not necessarily a bad thing. Chipotle has a decent price point, is relatively healthy (especially when compared to other fast food chains) and gives me the ability to get a decent meal in a relatively quick amount of time. All in all, I would definitely recommend this particular location of Chipotle. read more

We weren't allowed to order in person. Apparently they close the line down at 9-9:30pm even though it's open until 11pm. They only allow on line orders. We ordered 6 meals on line 3 of which were carnitas and when we went to pick up they said no carnitas. My husband asked them to make some since it wasn't even 10pm when the order was placed and the place closes at 11pm. They said it would be another 15 minutes. We said fine. Then since now we're inside waiting in the 3 burritos/bowls, we were taking pics and we were talking about how strange it was that they won't take online orders. One employee asked if we were recording and we said no, just taking pictures. Then as we were waiting for the carnitas to be done, they suddenly started putting all the food back on the line and taking in person orders again. read more

I swung by Chipotle after work for a quick dinner. Despite being the only customer in line, there was no greeting or eye contact. They just asked, "What can I get you?" I got a burrito bowl to go. The experience was average, and the restaurant was messy, probably because it was later in the day. Not the friendliest service but it was quick so no complaints! I have 2 Chipotle's close to me... and the one on Colonial Drive is definitely not the best choice. When you order pick up or delivery, your portion will be smaller than dining in, especially for salads and bowls. Chances of missing ingredient are high. I ordered a burrito bowl for delivery and literally got HALF of a burrito bowl! Like wth!! Now, I know the person who fixed this knew that they barely put anything in the bowl. I honestly believe that ALL chipotle locations have drastically gone downhill. This is unacceptable. Additionally, the 2nd burrito was missing the lettuce, fresh tomato salsa, and the red hot salsa. It's apparent that the employees cannot read on the ticket what's all supposed to be in the food! On top of this, my previous order had raw/uncooked pinto beans. Couple of things were poor with this place. 1- quantity of food wasn't there, I shouldn't open my bowl and see a gap a third of they way. 2- missing toppings, Ik they free but cmon now 3- the rice was awful. Super gritty and it didn't even taste like the normal cilantro rice they do. It literally tasted like stale sprinkles. 4- the bottom of my bowl was legit watery. This store isn't old enough to be this awful and consistently awful AT THAT. I've ordered in the store and through mobile, and FOR YEARS I have been disappointed. One time when I ordered I had a huge sheet of saran wrap in my burrito bowl. The portions are always disturbingly small, even if you pay for extra. The taste of the food is always lacking. There's no shortage of dry steak, hard rice, and mild sauce that's overly saturated in salt. One time I ordered a quesadilla that didn't have any of the sides that I had ordered. Missing ingredients are going to happen 100% of the time at this store. And the staff? Very much on brand for the food that's being pushed out. When I went to the store to pick up my mobile order I went to the cashier to let them know I was there. My order hadn't even started to be made yet even though I had received the notification that my order was ready. That's fine, I'll wait. There was a line so I decided to stand by the window where the tables and front door are so I could watch my car that I had left running and be out of the way of the line. One of the workers then yelled across the store at me and told me if I have a mobile order then I couldn't stand by the window and needed to stand by the drink machines. What she said didn't make any sense because I would've been in the way and what difference does it make of where I stand if my order isn't even ready? Worst Chipotle experience I've ever had, and I've eaten at many of them, many, many times combined. Walk in, the place is filthy. The limp-wristed girl dishing the food provided the most pathetically small portion sizes I've ever had at one of these, and there is no close second. I was given less than a half a spoonful of each: beans, rice and sofritas, and when I kindly asked for a bit more sofritas she told me it'd be extra, so she gave me another massive quarter spoonful serving and charged me extra for it. The lady who made my burrito was nice, but the cashier was not. She was not friendly or kind. She appeared to be in a bad mood and didn't want to be bothered when I inquired about additional tortilla chips for my queso and guacamole. She was not kind about my inquiry on a military discount and made me feel bad for even asking. She needs additional training in proper customer service and professionalism. Additionally, my burrito wasn't bad, but nothing to rave about. Ingredients were not hot. I ate my meal in my car in store parking lot. The chips were cold...like they had been in the fridge...making the lukewarm queso and guacamole unenjoyable. This was only my second visit to this location. I was greeted when I went up to the cashier an employee in SLIDES walking around. Then I showed them the order that was CORRECT and they went to the line to make it so I followed to make sure it was correct. When I was telling this lady putting my food together she told me to stop talking because she had the receipt in front of her when I was right there watching and she STILL messed it up and didn't apologize for it (she was a lightskin girl with short curly hair) I didn't get her name. She had a huge attitude even though it was HER fault. I am extremely disappointed they put such little food it was embarrassing. They make chipotle have a bad reputation.
