Not sure why my review that I left in July was blank. I was able to find it and read it before. Anyways I will do it again.. I have also updated a few things below. DR Chirag Shah had me come all the way out there to his office to be told he isn't making enough money from me and didn't give me my booked services knowing I was in pain and on the verge of crying over some stressful stuff I was dealing with. Instead of taking care of me.....his "patient" who had two services scheduled that she really needed.... Which Dr Shah could have done to help because he is a doctor who is supposed to care for his patients and their well being he sent me packing. I didn't need to be in that position with him. I came in visibly upset, shaking, and ready to lose it. I told him what had happened that made me that way (he didn't ask) but acknowledge that I looked very worked up. He didn't seem to care that I already had enough and was on the edge. He put the icing on the cake by denying me my booked procedures saying "Im not going to waste anymore time on you. I don't get enough $$$$$ from your insurance companies".???? Then why do you accept my Aetna plan? Dr Shah has been contacted by Allstate because he submitted his bills wrongly. Allstate has called to speak to his office at other points to tell them what was needed to be sent in to get paid......Allstate was actually waiting on Dr Shah or his biller to send the correct things to pay off the $589 that they claim is owed to him.... Its HIS FAULT he isn't getting paid by Allstate. Give them what they asked you for EOB's, COB's, OFFICE NOTES. However he was being paid by Aetna my primary. He wasn't happy with what Aetna my wad paying for my services ... DO NOT take the insurance the . Thanks for making a very bad day worse. I ended up crying my eyes out having a panic attack on the first floor as I was coming from the elevator. There weren't many people in that area but, a registration lady saw me and got a nurse to wheel me all the way over to the ER. The ER was packed. I sat there having a panic attack/ meltdown until I calmed down enough to drive. Its all about the $$$$$$$$ with Dr Shah but, I caught on to that a long time ago when he was telling me his other chiro friends in the South easily do over 100 clients a day when I first began going. The acupuncture room is a mess. I have often had to change my own face cover and was rarely offered a gown. I almost bought my own on amazon. I hated having to lay on that old green sheet with a big stain on it. It was always on there being used by everyone before me. Dr Shah also performed acupuncture on me before my massage quite a few times and would take a napkin to pat the blood off my back and send Corey the masseuse right in to give me a message while I likely still was bleeding. One time Corey even pated it up with a napkin and mentioned she hates when they do acupuncture before the massage because people bleed. Dr Shah did not seem knowledgeable or like he cared while performing acupuncture. He never examined me at visits or asked about my pain or how the acupuncture was working. He just came in real fast put the needles wherever and moved on to the next patient. The only reason I kept going is because the massage helped and my insurance paid for it. I kept letting him do acupuncture because I did not want to offend him and hoped id get lucky and have him stick the needles somewhere I needed them. Update.. I received a call from Dr Shah about a week or so ago saying he has gotten things worked out with Allstate whom is secondary to my primary insurance Aetna and told me I could come back. I believe this is because he had seen my reviews or was contacted by the hospital his office is located in about my complaint. However, when I was in the office with him he made it clear that even if Allstate paid my secondary patient portion it will still be a waste of his time because Aetna pays him less than he charges and its not worth it. Update today I received a call from his wife telling me I have falsified my reviews of them. My review was my honest opinion and I did not lie or exaggerate my experience with them. I stand by my reviews. His wife threatened to take me to court over it. I told her to go ahead I stand by my review. My review is not the only one out there that have similar complaints. They also solicit patients for reviews. Every week for about 3 weeks Id be asked to submit my review. I eventually caved and gave them a decent review because I was still a patient and did not want to say what I really thought because it would have made things weird. I had that review taken down. I had tried chiropractic care before, and quite frankly it terrified me. But after several months of headaches, I was referred to Dr. Shah by my pcp. She said that she went there as well, and his office is literally attached to the hospital, so I thought what the heck... And it's been a life saver. My headaches are gone and even thought it's only been a couple weeks I do notice a difference. I'm not saying they're miracle workers, but I've seen far less results with traditional medicine and care. If you can afford the commitment (and have decent insurance), do yourself a favor and check them out. Oh and the office staff is amazing as well! read more

I've been coming here for years.. Dr. Shah and his staff are extremely professional.. i started going there because I was having pain in my shoulders and back. Shortly after starting therapy my pain was practically gone. Now I go every three to 4 weeks for maintenance. There are very few places that offer an adjustment and a hour massage therapy session all in one place..When I got into a car accident a few years ago, Dr. Shah was very accommodating and was able to treat my neck and back. I'd recommend Dr Shah to anyone! read more

Our entire family sees Dr. Shah. He is amazing with my daughters...one has a bad case of scoliosis and has been living in pain. He has helped her become pain free and have a new lease on life! At 13 that is a big deal. He cares about our family, he engages with the kids...he has helped me with my fibromyalgia and RA pain in ways I never thought were possible. We highly recommend him to anyone we come across. His staff is always friendly and helpful. We are truly blessed to have him in our lives as our family chiropractor. I was sceptical of chiropractors, I have never been to one and didn't believe in them. He changed all of that! I even had a concern about my treatment during a flare up and he took time to discuss it, help me with my concern and go with what I am comfortable with. I saw a review that he only cares about the money...I have to say that is the furthest thing from the truth!!! He hasn't asked my family for a dime!!! We also have aetna insurance and we have to ask for a bill to pay pur balance because he is more concerned with our families health then getting money from us. I was always really skeptical about going to a chiropractor. I have had back problems since I was a teenager and always just dealt with it. After having a chiropractic massage at Dr. Shah's office, I decided to give it a try and I am so glad I did. Dr. Shah is both knowledgeable and personable. He answers all of your questions in depth and his priority is always doing what is best for his patients. Kori is amazing! She specializes in myofascial therapy and really knows how to work the muscles to relieve pain. I have seen a drastic change in my pain since going regularly to Dr. Shah's office. I highly recommend if you have ever considered any chiropractic care. read more

It is absolutely disgusting that a secretary has to be paid to make continuous lies on behalf of Dr. Shaw's poor practice!! I have all of my bills to prove that I have never ever canceled one appointment nor have I ever once been late once!! Wet heat is what dr Shah recommended and what I did! I never said I couldn't pay my bills! I always did in full until a sneaky secretary gave me a 75.00 fee for a no show when I rescheduled !! This office is a joke!They now feel the need to lie to try to make up for their own indecency and unprofessionalism!! The simple fact is Dr. Shah is a money hungry incompetent chiropractor that was doing the least amount of care to my neck and back so he could get paid through my insurance and through my co-pays which I have always paid in full to benefit his practice and his wallet!!!! My feelings are absolutely not hurt to not be a patient of his, he was hurting me physically more than any chiropractor has ever in the past ! That is a laughable comment ! I absolutely was never planning on revisiting such a poor chiropractic practice after my appointment today the only reason I showed up was to not get duped another $75 fee by a greedy worthless chiropractor and a poor uneducated secretarial staff whom can barely work the phones the copiers or can hardly schedule appropriately!! And all of my years visiting doctors office with myself and my daughter I have never been met by such incompetence and fraudulent behavior and practice . I truly pity anybody who has to visit this office on a regular basis!! Good luck to you too, to the secretary that is paid $10 an hour to respond to this truthful bad review of a so called Dr.!! I see Dr. Shah for a 2 year old car accident neck injury. I expressed how in the past accunpuncture had worked great. Not only did he listen to my request, but he suggested soft tissue massage would compliment the accupuncture. He is very personable and kind. Even more impressive is when my dad went to see him for a vertebral burst fracture, he ordered neccesary diagnostic tests, and continued to see my dad when he was inpatient at the hospital. Overall, wonderful patient care, and results - my neck feels better! (My dad is still in the acute injury phase, so I am hopeful my dad will get better under Dr. Shah's care as well!).
