I found Dr. Gary through Yelp reviews. The office is located in a convenient location for me and he has a lot of positive feedback. If you check-in, there is a 50% off deal for your first visit- sadly they do *NOT* accept that. I hope Yelp can remove it soon, since it's false advertisement. Keep in mind that as a new patient, they ask for a deposit to hold the appointment when you schedule. I arrived early on the day of my appointment since I knew there would be paperwork to complete, but it was actually not as thorough as I anticipated- the paper just general personal info and "list your complaints". So I had a lot of down time in the waiting room, especially because it seemed that Dr. Gary was running behind schedule. Luckily it was a nice day and the sun was shining through the windows as I sat and waited. At 20 minutes past my appointment time, the receptionist did apologize and let me know it would be "just a few more minutes". Dr. Gary was great though. He really seemed to care, and kept checking on how I was doing throughout the process of inserting the needles. I look forward to seeing if his treatment will help my ailments to improve. read more

I've always suffered from lower back pains. It gets better and worse with different activities and at different times, but with age it has definitely gotten worse. I also recently started getting night sweats. Dr. Gary prescribed some TCMs and applied acupuncture. I don't think I really noticed anything with the acupuncture, until I stopped going in. I think the improved circulation it provided may have helped ease whatever pain I had. The TCMs definitely helped with the night sweats. They worked within 2 - 3 days of taking them. It was like magic! The only thing is, if you stop taking them, it comes back. I tested it a few times to see if I was over the sweats. I like that the medicines are natural herbs and that I'm not playing around with hormones. Dr Gary is attentive, he listens to your concerns and takes his time to come up with a plan for you. Where do I start? Let me start off by saying Dr. Gary Xie is AMAZING, absolutely amazing. I started to see this Dr. after months of unsuccessful testing and treatment from traditional western medicine doctors. My issues came on suddenly when I had changed my lifestyle. I began working out regularly, drinking a whey protein powder, and eating very clean. It was out of nowhere I became extremely ill. It was so bad that I got to a point I was unable to eat, having pains all over my upper abdomen and back, I lost approximately 20 lbs in a matter of weeks, and I had a sensation of a lump in my throat and food feeling as if it was becoming lodged. After going to the ER I was placed on an anti acid medicine called Omeprazole. This medicine actually worsened my symptoms and was not helping relieve anything during the entire 2 months I took it. During the time I took this medicine I had a CT scan, Esophagram, Upper Endoscopy, Ultrasound of both the abdomen and pelvis, blood work, urine work, and I am sure I am leaving some other testing out. The doctors were insistent I had heartburn and that it was caused from anxiety. Ironically I had never been diagnosed with heartburn and I kept telling the doctors I believe the sudden change in my lifestyle was what caused this to happen but they did not want to hear that. They tried to put me on anxiety medicine even though I explained I was having anxiety BECAUSE of the symptoms, not the other way around. It got to a point I thought I was dying, I was waking up crying and thinking my world was ending. I weaned myself off the omeprazole and began looking into naturopathic medicine. This is when a google search brought me to Ginkgo Healing center. The very first day I seen the Dr. he checked both my pulse and tongue. He immediately diagnosed me with leaky gut and told me I had a lot of inflammation going on inside of me. I believed that 100%!! We immediately did a round of acupuncture and he put me on an herbal tea. Each week we made adjustments according to my personal needs. Each week I would watch the thick film on my tongue that identified the inflammation inside of me slowly but surely disappear. This film was not a film that could be brushed off with a toothbrush it was something legit wrong with me and I did not know this til I met Dr. Gary Xie. I have now had acupuncture done a total of 5 times. I have taken different types of herbs and all natural medicines he has provided and I am in absolutely amazement with my current state of health. I am not moved into the phase of maintenance acupuncture. I was originally going once a week and will now see him once a month. I am beyond happy with this Dr. and I am beyond blessed I found him. I have been seeing Gary for about 6 months for cholesterol, acid reflux and anxiety issues. His herbs have completely changes my life for the better. Great results in the past with Dr Gary Xie and this time even better. I've gone to a urologist for an enlarged prostate a couple of times with not the greatest results . My first visit he prescribed Alfuzosin once a day . I was feeling better for a short time than things started getting worse. On the 2nd visit I was told to double up on my meds and make another appt in a few weeks .Instead I went to see Dr Gary in hopes of finding some relief .
