I was desperate to see a chiropractor today and started searching on Yelp. I came across Dr. Khoa and the reviews were great. I called and a made a new patient appointment the same day. They didn't take my HMO but their fee was only $10 above my copay so it wasn't too bad. Dr. Khoa saw me right away and did a physical exam, and 2 on a machine. I was really impressed. It accurately pin pointed my pain. I know my pain is stress induced and when Dr. Khoa explained it to my using the digital exam I knew I was in good hands, no pun intended. We moved to the tables and he begun to do an adjustment and really took his time to position me right. His adjustments were quick and fast and with deep breathing it was all painless. Lastly he worked a machine on a very tight muscle and really got it to relax. Lastly, he had such a calming and caring voice and the facility was calming as well. It def helped me relax. I read the reviews about this place and they were all really positive, I scheduled an appointment ($35.) and went in and was greeted by a friendly young lady who took my information then I was taking in to a room and given a scan, after a bit of a wait I was finally seen by the Dr. He is very professional and kind with a gentle bedside manner, he adjusted me and told me to come back in a couple of days and we would go over the scan. I scheduled an appointment ($35) for the day after the next and was greeted by the Dr. himself no receptionist, I was seen right away, we went over my scan and the Dr recommended several visits because he said I was very stressed which is causing my pain. I discussed the treatment with my husband because it is a lot of money ($300.) and we agreed to go ahead because I was having quite abut if pain. I called and scheduled another appointment to pay for the service and start my treatment, after I paid the $300.00 I sat down and waited my turn. I waited for over 30 minutes before I was seen, we didn't even discuss setting up a schedule for treatment so I went ahead and scheduled another appointment for a few days later. I called in to verify my appointment and they told me the Dr. will not be in and to schedule an appointment for the following week! I didn't think I was stressed until now, I was and still am in pain (in my pocketbook as well) and now have to wait to be seen again! Needless to say " I am not very happy with the service UPDATE: I ended up getting an appointment on Saturday with a different chiropractor who has a completely different approach, it got me through the weekend. I scheduled another appointment for Monday at 4, I got to see Dr Khoa who was very apologetic and we talked over a treatment schedule, I really appreciate him taking the time to apologize and his very or professional behavior in addressing the issues I had. I used to suffer from chronic sciatic pain from a tumble down the stairs. I'm a very graceful person, no idea how that happened! The pain was so excruciating there were times I could not even get myself to stand up straight and would be bent over at almost a 90 degree angle while walking around the house and work. After a few adjustments with Dr. Khoa, I was nearly pain free and feel like I gained an inch. Literally, grew an inch taller! I was measured before at another doctor's office for my height and came in at 5ft 1in (and that was rounding up!) I heard about Dr Khao from my sister. The way she talked about him sums up to the gifted young Dr, with the magic Fingers. The sis raved on and on about him, and apparently all her friends and their entire family goes to him. Even their children look forward to visiting with Dr. Khoa. I was like wait a min... Can this be true? Aren't Chiropractors considered glorified masseuse? My family was graced with long elegant necks. However, years of bad pasture left us with something called a protruding head posture. Its where your head sticks forward from your body too far and the back of your neck has a small looking hump. My sisters's posture had significantly improved after having several visits with Dr. Khao to correct her issues. After seeing the improvement in my sisters and her little neck hump disappeared. I am somewhat disappointed as a new patient and the first time ever going to a chiropractor. When I called in to make an appointment, I was assured by the receptionist that my first visit as a new patient was FREE. But, apparently it was not free and I was charged $35. Dr. Le was very friendly and provided feedback on my lower back pain condition. After a few adjustments to my spine and neck, I was still in pain. I have been having terrible lower back pain for a week. It felt dull accompanied with a burning sensation as well as a lot of tightness. Today I woke up in so much pain, I managed to make it work but the pain was so bad I left work early to seek Chiro treatment. I don't usually comment but I need to share my experience, 'cause Dr Khoa pretty much saved my life. Back in 2013, I had excruciating neck pain to the point I lost 90% feeling in my right arm. Pain shot up to my head that my right eye couldn't see clear. Right hand got so weak I needed to hold things with both hands. Went to my primary Doctor; I was given pain medications, which didn't help; then got a shot of steroid injection which also didn't help. Pain continued to get worse. I was next recommended surgery, but that's when I drew the line. I tried to avoid surgery and started looking for help elsewhere. Fortunately, a friend said to go see Dr Khoa. Dr Khoa said I had a major pinched nerve in my neck and this would be helped with adjustments. I went to see Dr Khoa two three times a week. Took two months for Pain to go away completely and another 4 months before my arm was back in 100% working form!!! Fast forward to now, I still see Dr Khoa and get checked once a week, sometimes twice depending on my stress. I'm at the point where if I don't get my adjustment, I feel sluggish and get cranky. It's amazing! Whereas before I would reach for a pill when something doesn't feel right; now I just get adjusted. Proud to say I havent needed or touched a pill in 3 years.
