Dr. Yun seriously saved my vacation! I've had back problems since my 20s, and he's the only one who's been able to fix them -- plus he teaches you how to keep your back healthy. The Dr here is not professional or personable. I came here for upper back and neck pain during postpartum. The Dr told me I was very lucky to have a healthy baby and even get pregnant in my mid 30s. He put me on a vibrating machine, did one measly adjustment, and rubbed some pain medication on me (which I dont even know if it was safe I breastfeeding). He did tell me that I need to make several follow-ups to get relief..which I understood as him getting more money, sessions, to even provide relief. read more

I was in such a huge need some love and care for my lower back. I had been experience low back pain for such a long time, I finally couldn't handle the regular pain I had. I was able to find Prima Chiropractic through the website provided by my insurance, and after reading through a few reviews on Yelp and other sites, I felt that Prima would take good care of me. So, I've been visiting Prima for the last 2 months and may back feels much better than it has. Although, regular visits had made my back feel excellent I can positively say this has been the best decision I've made for my health. Updating my review to remind others not to fall for Dr Yuns scam tactics and to get a few more opinions from other Dr's before making a commitment with Dr Yun. I even messaged the office manager through Yelp simply requesting for my records and even that was a hassle to do. I called the office recently and the lady gave me attitude and I still haven't received my records from this place. So far I've had 7 sessions with my new chiropractor and I've never felt a turn around like this before. I'm not even done with my sessions and I can already see that my recovery is very promising. I actually started working out with confidence and even when I had a bad flare up, my new doctor made me feel secure he could take care of me so I could continue with my progress outside of his office. He doesn't even charge as much as Dr Yun. Even after Dr Yun deleted my initial review on his google reviews page, and continues to make fake reviews for himself (the amount of accounts with only 1 review is astonishing) to boost up his "perfect" feedback, a scammer will always find new ways to cheat others out of money he feels entitled to instead of doing honest work. My new doctor never needed to belittle me like Dr Yun and remind me how horrible my condition was in order to push his sales tactics for more sessions. My new doctor also didn't cheat me into "bundling" my Chiro sessions for a cheaper offer (Dr Yun initially said each part of my body had its own adjustment cost and "bundled" everything for $100) and my new Dr also takes his time to answer any questions I have. Dr Yun was running around needlessly and you could plainly see the anxiety he had when you kept him for too long. I called around many other Chiropractors and Dr Yun was the only scammer who would charge two separate consults for two different x-rays in one sitting. How sad and desperate. A single consult charge for both neck and back, and an individual charges for each x-ray would be the honest method. I'm sure Dr Yun has found new ways to make himself seem honest and respectable, but the few 1star reviews reflects the truth about this Dr (he's manage to get a lot of his negative reviews deleted unfortunately) and I won't be surprised if he tried to get this review deleted as well. You can tell that Dr. Yun and his staff care about their patients. A lot of extra time and energy goes into making sure the office is clean and professional, they work late hours, are very friendly, and are very helpful in answering all of my questions so we can work together to heal my injuries. That's what it's all about, working together. I also have to do my part, I have to learn and do certain exercises, get good sleep, eat healthy and not do things like having poor posture. It's my responsibility to learn all of these things myself so I can be healthy. Just going to the chiropractor isn't always enough. Do your part. And for people on Medicare, realize that the Doctors that accept it hardly make anything from your visit and Medicare is difficult to deal with. Doctors that accept Medicare are doing it for the reason good Doctors become Doctors, because they want to help people. This review is long overdue. I first found Dr Yun on yelp when I was in my third trimester and my wrists pains (Carpel tunnel) were unbearable. Being an accountant, not being able to type is like being a human without having food and water. I was informed by other doctors the only way to go through this is wrist bands and steroid shot, but I can not express how grateful to have found Dr Yun! Dr Yun straighten my wrists every week without all the needs of the shots etc. My husband said his hand hurts and Dr Yun found out that he has early onset of arthritis. The girl, on the phone while I was getting there, had a condensing attitude. I just wanted to make sure I didn't miss the place, I arrived 30 minutes early just to be waiting for an additional 15 more minutes, then I was called in. The chiropractor Yun was there, his bedside manner horrible. Trying to make me change my answer, all I had was tension in my neck and shoulder blades, just an adjustment from typing and a bit stressed out, Yun kept saying, "Are you in pain? It might be your age? Arthritic? If i was in pain or worse, i would've gone to my doctor and evaluated me, I said no? Just tension, neck, and shoulder blades. Charmaine at the front desk went above & beyond & spoke with multiple insurance representatives over the course of 3 hours to try & figure out my insurance issues/verification.. I had my doubts, but a few of my friends suggested that I should visit a chiropractor for the numbness and tingling in my hands. The causes of my condition is work related. My hands can begin to get numb/tingling from using my phone for 5-10 minutes, using the mouse, and while I'm driving. I came in to Prima Chiropractor for a consultation. After the consult, Dr. Yun suggested that I take an x-ray to see if there's anything serious. Nothing major was found so I went without the MRI. He went into detail, explaining the diagnosis and recommended that it would take 14 to 15 sessions to see results. I'm surprise that the numbness and tingling in my hands went away midway through my sessions. My overall experience was wonderful. Friendly staff that are able to work around my schedule. I went in for chiropractic adjustment, nothing major but some stiffness in my neck and upper back. I paid $175 dls. I'm very disappointed, I really though I was getting an actual real examination. The examination was $89dls. They wrote on the paper that I got an ultrasound and other 5 different services when I was just checked while I was moving my neck and stretched. That's not am examination. Very dishonest. My neck adjustment was another $86 dls and it was my neck cracking was done in 30 seconds. They made a plan for me for 2 months $1100 and they said that would give me a major discount for 16 treatments. If you do the math the visits would still be over $68dls each. They wanted that upfront if I wanted the program. I don't think I have a severe major problem but they made it seem that way. I paid almost $200 for a quick adjustment. Never coming back. This place is different. This doctor is different. 5 stars. Chiropractors are not cheap. Especially if your insurance doesn't cover it. But when you are in pain. Money becomes secondary. I came in with a neck pain. But during the treatment, I ended up tweaking my lower back. Dr. yun worked something out so that I would be paying so much. Amazing! But the difference with Dr. Yun, he actually takes the time to understand what happened and what possibly led to the problem. I have been to a few doctors and ask whats is wrong and then they do what they do. Dr. Yun, sits you down and digs deep to try and figure out what caused the problem. Turns out that I have been doing about 4-5 things that were not good which accumulated and led to my BIG problem. Why didm the other chiro offices tell me this before.
