I met with Dr. McHale today for what was my first chiropractor visit. I doubt that my experience is typical, but I have no baseline for comparison and my experience was what it was, so I'm going to write about it. To start, today is Saturday. My back was messed up all week and I finally admitted to myself today that (1) it's not going to just get better on it's own and (2) I can't endure waiting to receive medical attention. I called this office and, to my surprise, the Dr. answered the phone and was available immediately to see me. I drove to the office and was seen within 20 minutes after placing the call. The office building is new and not fully occupied, so everything looks newly painted, etc. Dr. McHale is a younger guy (I believe he has been licensed since 2011) and met me at the door. In addition to being seen on the spot on a Saturday, there were a lot of signs that the business itself is new as well--I won't bore you with those details; it's sufficient to say that as of February 2014, it's very new and you will probably notice it as well. Dr. McHale clearly knows his stuff. He explained the possible causes of my pain and kept using the word "obviously"--it wasn't obvious to me, but I'm glad it was obvious to him. He used several tools and various techniques, including the thing where the chiropractor puts you in a headlock to snap your neck (which felt pretty great). I left my appointment with some issues completely resolved and others treated but still (hopefully) healing. To be seen by a competent professional on such short notice and on a weekend, and to let me walk out of there even partially healed earns this business a five star review. read more

I have been in construction since graduating high school and been a flooring contractor for the past 5 years so I am constantly bent over on my knees for long hours and my body has taken a tole from the years of hard labor. I have been living with chronic jaw pain and have had very limited opening and mobility in my mouth for years. I've been to several different chiropractors over the years, and Dr. Reichardt is the first person that has ever even had a treatment option to offer specifically for my jaw, let alone one that works! I love that every visit is different, and that Dr. Reichardt uses several different treatment methods that have all helped my jaw, such as adjusting it from the inside of my mouth as well as outside, and by doing ultrasound treatments. Dr. Reichardt has increased the mobility of my entire mouth in general, as well as reduced the amount of pain that I am in, due to my jaw problem. Working in the dental field requires me to sit in some uncomfortable positions, as well as that fact that the chairs we sit in are not the best for my posture, so naturally, I am out of alignment and get back and neck pain quite frequently. Being on a regimen of going biweekly to get adjusted has helped me a lot and I feel so much better throughout my work week. I originally went to see Dr. Josh on the recommendation of a friend and I am sure glad I did! Not only did he take the time to talk to me and diagnose my symptoms, he worked at a pace and pressure that was comfortable for me. I came in for tingling in my right arm and thumb as well as a dull pain in my shoulder and he said he could take care of that. Being in my forties, I figured this might be a permanent thing as a result of an athletic life with a fair amount of bodily abuse. But he took care of me as he said he would and I healed as promised. After having my first baby I was having really intense sciatica pain, and back pain. I was desperate for relief. I couldn't even put my pants on without pain shooting up my leg! I found ChiroFit through Yelp, and called- they got me in right away. I saw Dr. John McHale and was awesome. Listened to my concerns, set out a plan and talked to me about what was causing the issue (hips moving forward instead of back into place after delivery). I had about 2 sessions twice a week and started feeling better pretty quickly. Awesome experience. Its now 4 months since I had my baby and I have zero sciatica pain.
