I have been to many and unfortunately with my severe neck problem they cannot adjust me properly worried about their inability to adjust correctl. It takes great job skill. I do not have that kind of disposable income and was kind of made to feel bad about that (this laser will help heal faster but some people don't want to pay for that). Dr.Funk is an absolutely amazing guy in general. And this carries over to the way he takes care of his patients. I've been a patient for 10 years since I had a a car accident. And I was led to working with him by an attorney and it has started a lifelong relationship. He's amazing, always calls you back even on a Saturday. I just got a call from my father. He has never been to a chiropractor before and was referred to one by Kaiser for some serious back issues and neuropathy to see if chiropractic care would help. He ended up walking out due to the attitude of the receptionist. He said she was incredibly rude to him and made him uncomfortable so he walked out and will be finding somewhere else to go. I cannot begin to tell you how amazing Dr. Funk is, in the short time I've been going to him the relief he has provided is nothing short of a miracle to me. Almost 7 years ago I had dental work done, I've had plenty of root canals but this time was far from normal. I was a new patient and I came in 15 min before my appointment. I gave them my insurance and everything and then I waited. He took two regulars who walked in AFTER me and then after complaining to the receptionist, she went to go talk to him. She said that my session would be an hour but it literally lasted 15 minutes. I had to complain a second time for him to finally take me in. He made like two to three adjustments on my neck and then told me I should come in for more sessions. As a new customer, I felt that my time should be valued and not having to complain twice and telling them that I would take my business elsewhere for him to finally come see me. Honestly, I would avoid him. Horrible service. Hopefully, he learns and reads ALL THE OTHER reviews that mention his long wait times and his complete disregard towards patients. Having heard about Dr Funk very recently, I have been to see him three times in the last couple weeks, and can say with confidence that he is not only a very knowledgeable and able chiropractor but also a very kind and helpful human being. I am very touched and impressed by the way he tries to explain what issue(s) you seem to be having, what you can do, besides chiropractic adjustment, and also what effect the various gadgets, tables and processes in his clinic are meant to produce. I can see myself trusting my back issues to him completely. A BIG PLUS for this facility is that they have a truly great massage therapist- Tiffany Dutton. I am a big massage enthusiast and have been going for a massage fairly regularly during the last few years. I'm glad I discovered Tiffany, for her combination of different modalities is unique and different. The movement of her fingers and hands is soothing, fluid and gentle--like the notes of a beautiful melody. Dr. Funk is good if you just need a quick adjustment. However, he really doesn't listen to his patients when they have new issues or problems. The wait time to get adjusted are almost always long. His office is like an assembly line so the more patients he sees the more money he makes. Dr Steve is good , very thorough and went straight for the pain area . Being a hvac teacher I respect and appreciate professionals who explain and educate everyone and Steve was very informative. My response was "no through my employer" her response "oh ok then yes we do" rude and not nice. I'll take my business somewhere else. I was a bit sceptical about going to a chiropractor, but after only 4 visits the discomfort and pain I had experienced for the last 2 years is gone. I'm impressed to say the least. I'll always remember my first visit, walking out of my car I saw a woman coming out from visiting dr funk. "It's time to get funky." This is NOT a stuffy doctor's office! He shares and cares. Dr. Funk has a sweet demeanor and takes a genuine interest in what's going on with my health as well my life. So, as a new patient I was told to plan on an hour for my visit. What I wasn't told was that the hour was wait time not time with Dr. Funk. I had been waiting 45 minutes and then they took a walk in in front of me. When I questioned why I needed to come in so early only to wait around (during a work day) that's when I was told this is why they ask you to plan for an hour. I had been willing to reschedule when I first got there and saw two people already waiting. I was reassured they would get me out in an hour. Was Dr. Funk really going to go over all of my paperwork, my concerns AND work on my in 15 minutes based on the time remaining? Plus, taking a walk in before me? That isn't good service. I was shocked to see that none of the employees, nor the Dr. wore masks. Even though they had a sign on the door and on the walls stating that masks were required. Also, areas were not wiped down or disinfected after each patient's use. If you are at all concerned about Covid-19, I would not recommend this office. read more

I had the pleasure of visiting Dr. Funk's office today for an adjustment. I was having neck and knee pain from heavy weight training and it was so bad I was having to take days off in my workout regime. Dr. Funk's staff (Erica) was awesome. The paperwork I filled out was extremely thorough and I loved the massage chair to sit in while I waited. His roller table is awesome, too! Dr. Funk was so down to earth and friendly. He truly made me feel like his only client, spending a great deal of time with me discussing my ailments and describing his procedures to help me heal. I went in to Dr. Funk today for the first time. I had never been to a chiropractor and it was a great experience. I called at 3pm and got an appt by 4:30. Receptionist was very nice over the phone as well as in person. I was told the first appt would take an hour and that was about how long it took. There is a stack of paperwork to fill out your first time in. I went in with a headache and two pos of the neck later the headache was gone. Dr.Funk was very friendly and offered great advice. He is also prior Air Force and has jokes for days. I had a pleasant experience and will return again.. also ask for the special for military and first responders. read more
