4/10- they did not double check the order before giving it out. I asked for chicharron & it wasn't quite what we received, I think it was chicken? The carne guisada taco was really dry & ive never had it this dry? The barbacoa taco was also dry.. the tortillas were a bit stiff & not as fresh. Had to ask for limes & thankfully i did because i was told there were some in the bag already & there wasn't. I normally go to the highway 6 location & they're two completely different vibes, more welcoming & I don't have to add every single thing to my tacos. The "new" place (not sure how long this location has been open) is more attractive, more hip, and has a nice bar. However, it seems the tacos were better when it was across the street at the gas station. I wonder if they have a happy hour? I love a good taco place but I have been disappointed by two Chismosa's locations (Minonite and 723). The potatoes that came with my breakfast plate had zero seasoning on them, not even salt. The cheese quesadilla plate I had today had zero seasoning on it. Others who also got food from there today said their plates were bland. Very disappointed. read more

Looking for authentic Mexican food ,not Tex mex, real awesome tasting Mexican food ,where the refried beans taste like moist refried beans not dry ,eggs are perfectly cooked,tortillas are homemade,the 3 different salsa's are from mild to hot this is the place ,and everything is served with a smile and at great prices when a Mexican coke is not four dollars I knew I found my place for a great Mexican breakfast. This place is very clean for the amount of patrons , it's busy but the service is better than most. My wife over medium eggs were perfect . I'll drive the fourteen miles because I know I won't be disappointed. This was my fourth time eating here and every time the food was good. I ordered the fajita pack for a quick family meal. We were blown away by the homemade tortillas. The box of fajitas looked small until I poured it into a serving dish. It was a nice large portion, seasoned well. Rice and beans were good and authentic. We ended up ordering again a week later... And of course ordered extra tortillas. Delivery was fast and everything was once again delicious!!! Oh, and the price was fantastic. 40 bucks to feed my family of 4 HUNGRY adults. Great name, great food. The customer service was amazing and I feel bad for saying this but the food I had gotten was not good first the salsa was rather too salty or bland and I had both red and green. The guacamole was very sour and had was too much lemons that I couldn't taste the avocado. The quesadilla sucked too it was plain and salty with no flavor. read more

Breakfast tacos are always amazing, but today my wife and I had the chilaquiles verdes with a Fred egg and it was sooo good! The women in the front were very nice and food came out fast, hot, fresh and ready. Food was lacking flavor. Salsa was watery and just tasted like puréed tomato. Chicken taco was simply chicken breast seared, no flavor no dressings like cilantro, onion nothing... ordered the Ehskinni enselada for 8.50 it was the size of a side salad. When the manager approached to asked us how our meal was he literally gas lighted us saying salad only cost $5 when we had just paid and it clearly says it on the menu. If you dont mind the terrible service and the chatty service the food is just ok. Sat there waiting for barbacoa for almost an hour because the lady couldn't pronounce the number right nor say it loud enough. Always go there for their barbacoa tacos but recently risked It all and decided to get their menudo a few weeks ago, definitely one of the best menudos I've had here in Rosenberg!! The two ladies at the front counter had the nerve to act like I was the problem after we waited longer than normal for a messed up order. We watched the laugh and giggle with other customers but when we have an issue we get met with attitude and rolled eyes. Not spending $ here again. I had a horrible experience here... I've came here my whole life and never had any issues. I came in the other night to grab a drink after work and the lady at the bar was immediately rude. (Jayla).After asking for my drink she made a few rude comments while making it .. in all honesty I wasn't even sure I was going to leave a review but I feel this place is so much better than that!! Anyways she overall did not want to service me and it was very obvious. Not to mention she kept on about how she does hair and whoever did mine didn't do it correct. Never thought I'd give this place a second try... but glad I did! I recommend their FM 2977 location inside the gas station. I got the same plate I did years ago and wow! Whoever is cooking at that location has got it down. The egg portion was plentiful. The potatoes were way less greasy and actually edible this time. Beautiful new restaurant with full bar and staff, the food is absolutely delicious and they haven't priced themselves over what is best about having Mexican food. I remember when she started across the street in local gas station, she always worked hard and now this place is testament to that. Great breakfast tacos! Ordered 75 for a group and they were a big hit. Sometimes I just go in for 2 or 3. Chorizo is the best.

The breakfast tacos are spectacular but the dinner is flawed. My wife and I ordered the family pack of beef fajitas and were disappointed. The beans have a consistency and texture like soup. Unfortunately the guacamole was a similar soup texture. The beef had a very potent flavor that was not pleasant. The tortillas tasted old/stale. However, breakfast is the only time to visit this establishment. Avoid dinner. read more

NOT SAFE! Not honest. During a health crisis you would think they would be concerned for their customers. Nope! The need for a quick dollar is more important than your health. They gave my bag of food to another customer. The customer left the restaurant and later came back to report he was given the wrong order. So than the Owner Lady determines it belongs to me and without inspecting the food, she tries to hand the bag to me. I told her that I didn't want any of the tacos that were opened. Hello! Their is a major airborne virus! She walks to the back only to come out with probably the same bag. I get home and I pull out my first taco and it's evident that it was not wrapped like the tacos at the bottom of the bag or like they normally are. Shame on you to disregard my health and safety!
