From out of town and came in to order. No menu or prices, so don't even know what to order. The lady just stared and said something, but couldn't understand. Found this place and thought I'd give it a try, pulled up to a line outside the door. What I could get was good. However.... No menu online or in store to tell you what you're spending/what they have. Very limited options, and if you ask for cheese it's like it's an inconvenience. Most items have egg or pork mixed in. Don't eat pork and allergic to egg. So very limited on what one can get with diet restrictions. Having just plain potatoes would be beneficial. Lady serving me was kinda rude, didn't give me time to order the little extras I needed. It's cafeteria style but everything is fresh ,corn and flour tortillas are made as you are ordering,so your tortillas are fresh off the grill, food is hot ,service is with a smile, really cannot say enough about this place I visit it every weekend sometimes Saturday and Sunday,I live in Sugar Land but the drive is worth it every time , I also buy a couple of dozen of flour tortillas to go , no more HEB paper thin flour tortillas for me . I should have done this months ago. But today was the straw that broke the camels back! I actually think that the food is good but the service is TERRIBLE!!!! The lady that works the food line that has dark hair and about 5'7 kind of medium build and kind of heavy set is rude! Every time I come in there she waits until it is my turn to order my food then she walks off and let's someone else take my order as if there is a problem. The short hispanic guy that works there with the hat stares at me very weirdly every time I go as well and just stares at me. I am 6'6 I am taller than most and I am use to looks but he is weird and does not speak. Back to the rude lady on food line should be fired immediately. I believe alot more people have issues with her. Her customer service is terrible and I won't be back. The weird guy in the back is rude also and creepy acting. The lady with the glasses that made my food was amazing. Maybe they should have name tags so that they can be addressed by name. I am not making this up and I am a real person that demands the respect I should get. I hope the business owners makes changes before their business closes. I have always eaten inSide of the taqueria but This is the second time i have ordered barbacoa to GO, the last time I ordered it was dry over cooked and tasteless. Barbacoa is terrible. Pork Al Pastor is okay. Only get one small salsa per taco which sucks. I've definitely had better in Rosenberg but haven't had a lot worse. Probably one of my lease favorites in Town. Service is okay. read more

These are simple but really bomb tacos. On my momma these are some pretty damn fire tacos. Staff is very nice.

Best tacos I have ever had. You can see them cooking fresh tortillas constantly. Great selection of probably 20 meats, and a few interesting ones, I have never seen anywhere else. Their Barbacoa and Machacado are the best I have ever eaten. Chili Rellenos are terrific. Authentic Mexican, not Tex Mex. And a very friendly, helpful staff. read more

I moved here last fall. I went to Mexico city last winter. I'm a vegetarian. This is some of the best Mexican food I've ever had including Mexico City... But maybe not Oaxaca. Hugo downtown was also really good but to opposite ends of the pricing scale. read more

Great little hole in the wall taqueria! I wish they didn't run out of caldo so quickly. We rarely make it before they sell out but it is deeeeelicious both the caldo de res and caldo de pollo. Both come with rice and lime and it's one of my favorites I've found in the area. We have also gone for breakfast tacos. Their barbacoa is good and not oversalted. This place is in my top 3 places to get breakfast tacos! Its tucked, hidden away in the back corner of the shopping strip. Parking is LIMITED. When you walk in, you go up to the counter and place your order with one of the ladies behind the counter. Every single time we've gone there has been a line to the door! They have a variety of different tacos from your typical egg and cheese tacos to the more authentic ones like barbacoa and lengua. The also have different soups as well as menudo and tamales. Whatever you get, it does not matter because its amazing either way. I'm incredibly, incredibly picky about tortillas. You can tell from the first bite that their tortillas are homemade and fresh. Even when you're waiting in line, you'll see someone come up and refill their tortilla holder. I love this place and I don't know why it took me so long to discover it! read more

Decided to give this place a try. This is the worst place I've ever had in Mexican tacos. My whole order was a complete mess. I did not get one item that I order. I tried calling them on the phone and the phone went unanswered. We ordered online for a pick up. They grabbed the slipped and made it (fresh) to order yet they could not read the order was nothing that was made! This is flat out a disgrace!! Waste of money. If I could give a no star I would. When I took my friend who moved here from San Antonio, as he was having his lunch, he got mad at me. I asked him what was wrong? He said, why didn't you bring me here before?! He had gone to different places, but couldn't find authentic Mexican food. He said it tasted like his grandma's. I love the fresh tortillas that they make themselves. Seriously some of the best breakfast tacos in Houston. So many options and choices to go after. I personally love their egg/sausage which I have in their corn tortilla. Their corn tortilla tastes like flour...now that is some skills. Their picadillo tacos are on point. The pastor, pork stew are not bad either but very heavy and sometimes salty. Their menudo is always a hot seller. The line is long and packed here. Many know about this place and are willing to wait for the food. The agua de pina was good and i recommend you order yourself one. If for some reason all you want is a quick taco then I recommend the chicharron taco along with the desabrada taco. The desabrada reminded me of my late grandmother and her style of cooking. By that I mean the michoacan area of mexico and all the spices they use to create such amazing flavors. read more

Came in here for breakfast the other day. Their guisado de puerco tacos were good. Wish i would have ordered more of those. I only had one guisado taco and two barbacoa tacos. I didn't like their barbacoa. Had way to much fat in it. Some people might like that, but it's not my thing. I'd like it a bit leaner. We came here after dinner one night. We were highly disappointed with this place. First of all the lady was extremely rude who was helping us. She didn't want to take our credit card for a purchase well over $10. But there was a sign stating they take all major credit cards. When pointed out to her she finally agreed to take it. The place is spotless and smells like it had just been cleaned with chemicals, but unfortunately the cookies, and sweet bread tasted like those same chemicals.
