In the past I would have teeth that would break off with no warning, loose teeth, constant infections and lots of cavities. Dr. Romano put veneers on my bottom teeth that have slipped off several times. sometimes they broke so I'd have to pay for a new one. this happened more times than I can count. I just had a one veneer replaced a couple of months ago and have to have it put back on by another dentist because I have zero confidence at this point. He is extremely gentle and is concerned about ensuring you experience no pain. I have had multiple root canals with him and have never felt a thing other than the initial nova caine shots which are minimal because they use a topical first as well. I've referred many people here in the past. Great prices when I had to pay out of pocket or use Care Credit. Only complaint is he sometimes leaves for a month if the year to go do charity around the world, and causes me to delay appointments. But that's not a complaint, he is truly a great guy and takes care of my entire family.

We received the summary from our insurance company in the mail a week or so before the appointment. The day of the appointment we received a bill in the mail from the dentist. When my wife showed up for the appointment, the dental office indicated that she needed to pay what was owed right then. My wife explained that we had just received the bill at home that day and that we usually mail in a check, but the dentist office wanted the money right then. My wife does not carry a checkbook with her, so she had to pay on credit, but was NOT told that they charge an extra 2.99% for a credit card change. When I was able to contact the dental office, I asked them to take the charge off of my credit card and I would send a check in the mail as I normally do. They refused and said that I had to bring them a check before they would cancel the credit charge. I refused to do this. I also asked why we had to pay more via credit. They said that there are notices all over their office about this (it's on the mailed bill too). However, I never noticed or considered this because we always paid our bill via check when it came in the mail. I would like to add that we have never been overdue on any of our payments. With this disagreement I indicated that I already talked to our bank and had the number of their fraud department and that I would contact the BBB about this strong arm tactic. We had no previous notice that the money we owed would need to be paid that day! Anyway, my wife went in with a check after this disagreement and they refunded the extra 2.99% they charged in cash and told us that due to the threats of calling our bank's fraud department and the BBB we are no longer patients. The dentist is great, but how do you deal with an office manager only focused on money and not the care of the patients.

Referred a friend to DRS. D&J. He had major work done, thousands of $'s. They accepted Care Credit…read morenever notified him that they no longer accept it and no signage informing. Surprise, had to make payment after a root canal & crown. Dr.D doing the root canal left him with his mouth wide opened to go to the front and help Dr.J take payment from a patient. Another incident X-ray machine was not operating, had to drive back the next day from Syr.and was charged an office visit. Next time returning for the crown from Syr., waiting and told the crown hasn't arrived. Days later it comes in. Then the crown falls out, had to go back Dr.J puts it back on. Then the crown falls out again and he learns that they sold the business. The new doctor charges him $200 and tells him that the tooth needs an implant. Also, informs him many patients have crowns falling out. What a scam! Like a hit and run! Whatever it takes, just make the $$ and retire!
