I want to start off by saying that my first two experiences at Drizzle were honestly phenomenal (only reason for 2 stars). I had a full new set of gel x the first time with a design ($105 before tip) and a fill with design the second time ($90 before tip). Rachel had done my first set. Bella did a fill and then Mickey did my design which was incredible. These nails lasted incredibly long as I was on vacation and couldn't get them done. Unfortunately the third time wasn't a good experience. I was getting my birthday nails done and because of the timing I needed a new gel x set. I had already taken off my nails and had shorter bare nails when arriving (same as first time). I had a scheduled appointment and arrived exactly 5 minutes late which i understand was my bad. I apologized and understood potentially having to wait a few more minutes. What I didn't understand is the fact that I was made to wait an additional 45 minutes. After being taken by Amanda she began my new set. I did notice she was doing things slightly different but didn't think much of it. I was generally ok with how they came out and paid the $115 and gave a $20 cash tip. I don't mind paying for nice well done nails that last. As I looked at them more I realized the shape was a bit off and there was no apex at all but for anyone else looking they were beautiful! My nails were done on June 27, my left thumb started coming off and fully came off on June 30. I went back to get this fixed as they were brand new birthday nails. Aya put a new nail on and honestly put so much care into that one nail. I felt bad not tipping but I had spent so much and it shouldn't have happened at all. Fast forward to July 8th, my right thumb popped off. July 12th my pointer finger came off. I understand things happen but my nails were clearly not done correctly and for $135 total they needed to be done right. I shouldn't have to take my time to go back to the salon again to get a nail fixed three times. Once? Alright fine. The other two sealed the deal and I won't be going back. read more

This is my second time at this salon. In my experience it's been very busy and there is a wait even if you have an appointment. Today i went for a powder manicure and regular pedicure. Although i had an appointment i had to wait a while and 1 person did my soak off, another did the pedicure and a third did my manicure. Again, very busy for a Thursday afternoon. but the salon is very spacious, nice, clean and prices are reasonable. There is a good selection of colors to choose from. I arrived about 1 hour before they closed and they couldn't have been nicer, the chair massage was great and I even got an additional 10 min back massage. I saw a sign for a mani and pedi deal, so I walked in early on a weekday. There were a few customers around, but I was able to pick a color and sit pretty promptly. Cindy (?) was my tech. She helped me turn the chair massage on so that I could enjoy it while she did my pedicure. I was a little bit confused because I gave her my cash before my manicure as I always do, and she looked confused about why I was paying at that time. I thought this was pretty customary for regular mani (as I don't want to ruin my manicure trying to unzip multiple things to get to my cash). I had factored in her tip with the price advertised, so I was also confused when she gave me less change back than I had expected. It turned out later when I inquired that the price is for a very specific window of time and I had arrived like ten minutes before the promotion started. If I had known, I would have paid with card and tipped more with cash (managed to scrounge up more cash, though it came at the cost of my index fingernail becoming messed up a little). The manicure was fine, though I do wish she communicated about how long I should be waiting at the drying counter. i just had my eyebrows waxed at this location since its Easter weekend. that was big mistake. The young woman couldn't be more sorry but she waxed most of my eyebrow off. Several people came in to try to help but there wasn't anything anyone could do to make this better. I still needed to pay for my manicure but was advised they wouldn't charge for the waxing!!! I will never go to this nail salon again. The person who appeared to be the manager told me that my eyebrow will grow back! Well, the man who usually does the massages was the one working on me as the other technicians were all busy, and he was so aggressive with the Emory board that he took the skin off my finger. I have very weak nails and have had negative experiences getting them done in the past -- my stylist was wonderful and made a point to be very gentle. How dare you tell me there was nothing on my card. I can count just fine thank you, and I know how much your prices are, so unless we're using some third other conversation rate, do tell me how suddenly 20-40 dollars at most suddenly dissapears a whole 100 dollar card ? Oh you have a sophisticated enough computer system to deduct funds but very conveniently you cannot list or print out previous sales. You just assume I've over spent. Right. Well, thank God you're located next to the DMV as I would rather wait to register 50 cars on a Wednesday afternoon during a Presidents' Day used car sale, than ever deal with the likes of this business. You don't even do nails that well, pretty ballsy I gotta say taking advantage of me. And by me I mean the 3 grandmas I know in my life that you've pulled this on- yeah plot twist I never got a manicure, however , the stories are so similar after two visits of a cheap 20 dollar service that you absolutely are the thieves here. To anyone looking to get their nails done here, Bring cash, get a receipt, and check the quality on others hands and toes before you ever say yes. If someone says they'll get a gift card, you tell them that's how they actually make money. Been coming here for the past few months and was happy with the service. Gel pedicure wasn't great, I have had better. Last time I went I asked for a diagonal French and showed the girl the photo. No problem! As she's doing my nails she tell me the French will be $20 more! I told her the board says $10 more for a French and was told that's for a "regular" French. A diagonal French is additional $10 more. Absolutely crazy! I told the girl to stop working on my nails and I would go elsewhere. I started going here because they are open on Sunday and my schedule can get kind of tight. I've noticed this with almost every salon...the honeymoon phase. The first few weeks are great because you are a new customer and they are trying to do their best to simply get your business, but IMO they don't do enough to keep you happy wanting to come back. The service starts to fade. Coco and Sunny are the best for powder manicures but they never seem to do my pedicures and they always chip really quickly. I started bringing my own Nailtiques (base) and Seche Vite (top coat) so my pedicures will last longer. I also noticed they are slacking on cleaning which bothers me a lot. Cans of Lysol at every station but I never see it used. And last time the gentleman who appears to be the manager (and never smiles / barely talks to you) sat me in a pedicure chair with someone else's used water bottle sitting there. I moved it over and actually said something when they sat another young looking girl in the chair with it. Eww. Overall I recommend bc they do a good job but took a star away for cleanliness and inconsistency among proficiency of nail techs. read more

I've been to drizzle 3 times so far. The first time was good but my sns lifted and broke within a week. Typically I have SNS that last 5 weeks. The second time I had the best experience, the nail lady was so attentive and did my nails beautifully. This time I could not say the same, the nail lady seemed inexperienced and did not follow any directions. I asked for coffin nails and got round nails. I asked for nude nails on 2 fingers and she put white SNS and tried to convince me it was nude, it was not. The design I wanted was not the same as the photo provided. I had also needed a tip added to one of my fingers and that nail was the worse nail of all, shorter than all the other nails and different size. My nails do not look natural looking but fake and done myself at home. This was such a bad experience and every time I asked the nail lady to fix something she got upset and frustrated. I gave up and just paid and left. The price was not worth the nails I left home with. read more
