My favorite salon! Everyone there is super friendly, efficient and offers high-quality service. Have been getting a gel mani/pedi here over the last couple months; last set lasted a month and a half with minimal wearing! I'm SUPER rough on my hands and I cannot believe how great my nails still looked (I filed the manicure down until I could get to the salon again because life...). It's not cheap, but you get what you pay for! Most other places I've tried, the nails start to chip/flake/break/fade within a week. I visited Chloe Nail & Spa in Clovis as a walk-in around 5:30-5:45 PM. The salon is beautiful, very clean, modern, and nicely decorated. The pedicure chairs are comfortable, and waited about 25 minutes before being seated. The self-service check-in kiosk was easy to use and made the process simple to check-in. One thing I really enjoyed was the music. The playlist was excellent and created a relaxing atmosphere. Music is something I always notice, and they definitely got that part right. Unfortunately, my experience with the customer service didn't match the quality of the salon. When I first walked in, the gentleman at the front desk wasn't very welcoming. A simple greeting like, "Hi, welcome! How can we help you today?" or "Please have a seat and we'll be with you shortly," would have made a big difference. Instead, the interaction felt cold and impersonal, and it didn't create the warm first impression I was hoping for. I chose the $55 jelly pedicure because I wanted a more premium, relaxing experience. My nail technician (I believe her name was Marine) was polite but very quiet and didn't explain the steps of the service or check in to make my pedicure experience well known. I don't expect constant conversation, but some communication and attention to detail are part of what I expect when paying for an upgraded service. The pedicure itself felt lousy, and there was little to absolutely no massage even tho she had a timer set for every step she was doing. I literally thought to myself oh the massage will probably be at the end once the gel polish I completed, but then nope she handed me my pay slip and was like you're done. I don't know if she saw my complete surprise expression but yeah I was like this was not a good pedicure. Since I'm on my feet all day, I specifically choose higher-end pedicures to relax and unwind. The jelly like experience she literally told me to play around in the mixture with my feet... while I have received these services else where and the tech usually massage the mixture on my feet and legs. Yet this experience had me doing the work moving my own feet around the mixture which deviates from relaxation. While my polish looks nice, the overall experience wasn't relaxing or worth the premium price. The salon itself has a lot of potential. It's clean, beautiful, and in a great location. I also noticed they offer a $5 discount for leaving a review, although I forgot to mention it before I left. I regularly leave honest reviews on both Google and Yelp because I believe constructive feedback helps businesses improve. I'm giving two stars because I truly think this salon has the potential to be outstanding, but customer service is just as important as the quality of the facility. From the initial greeting to the service itself, the experience felt impersonal. I'll give Chloe Nail & Spa another chance and request a different technician next time. If my experience is significantly better, I'll gladly update this review because I'd genuinely like to support a local business that's striving to provide a great experience. read more

I made an appointment for mani/pedi for my daughter's sweet sixteen birthday nails. She got the full service of having two of their staff working on her nails at the same time. Everything felt very lush and the chair are new so no rips are tears. The massage options worked well. I'm happy to sit in a chair that is fully functional. My daughter was happy with her nails. I end up getting a builder gel to start my nails off naturally. I'm excited to see how long they can grow with each visit. Definitely will be back! read more

I was excited to visit this new nail place for Mother's Day. Everyone was very friendly and super attentive, so that was a plus! We were also a walk in and only had to wait for 40 minutes on a holiday. I enjoyed the atmosphere and it was really cute inside... With all that being said they absolutely could not execute a relatively simple design. I like my toes square and always get builder gel or acrylic on my big toes. I requested the design from Pinterest and as you can see my toes look absolutely nothing like my request. The gel polish also looks thick and clumpy... TBH I'm almost positive I could have done the design better myself. Other shops I go to can do my designs well, so I probably won't be coming back but if you just want a simple gel polish it probably won't be a big deal. read more

They do not set proper expectations. This was the second visit. First visit they told me it would be a 30 minute wait so I was walked over to Dutch Bros and came back. I ended up waiting over an hour but I did get sat in a chair. Then waited another 30 minutes in the chair. Then was rushed through the process, it was sub par service. Nail tech was nice. Second attempt today. Front desk said it would be 15 minutes. It has been over an hour and they still have not communicated that they are ready for me. I asked the hostess where I was in line and she said next, so I waited. What she did not tell me is I was the next "walk in" and there were multiple people actually ahead of me. What a lack of consideration. Also there were appointments available online... so hum. Timing is not their strong suit. I will not be returning. read more

I was an acrylic girl for a lot of years and after taking a break from nails this past year, trying gel x sold me. I can't wait to go back just to see how they fill it lol. This place is super cute inside and the girls at the front are friendly but I wasn't too happy with my service and for the price I paid I expected better. My gel toe nails are very chunky and uneven, I asked for a white tip and they are thick and messy. I have gel stuck on my skin. I have a "usual" spot and sadly wish I would've stuck to it because this $62 I paid was such a waste. This place is so convenient which is why I gave it a try but I'm sad and highly disappointed and the first impression it left isn't sitting well. Just to edit, I did talk to the manager and she offered to have me come back in to take this off and redo my nails OR to give me a gift card. A full refund is not an option. And as much as I appreciate the offer and her apology the thought of having to sit for something that should've been done correctly the first time isn't sitting well with me. I had to put this time aside to begin with. Personally, going back is not an option for me. Whether the service is free or I get a gift card. First impressions really are important. read more

Arrived to my scheduled appointment and waited 30 minutes for my mani/pedi to start (not sure what the point of making an appointment is). I was cut several times with my thumb being the worst bleeding and the technician just put pressure with their own thumb instead of using a cotton ball or any antiseptic cleaning solution. When my gel manicure was finished I had to point out that the gel didn't cover my entire nail so they had to redo it. It was my first time here and I paid $80 for my nails to be ready for my sister's wedding, so this was a disappointment despite the positive reviews here. I won't be coming back. read more

Love Chloe! It's less than a three minute drive for me, they're always willing to schedule a last minute end of day pedicure. Chloe closes at 7 but I was able to book an hour long pedicure at 6:15. Twice and they were more than happy to get me in. Henry graciously fixed up my nails Personally I pay the most expensive pedicure as I wait months before getting them done and they usually look disgusting (I stand 10+ hours a day and exercise 6 days a week) The woman up front is always so sweet and helpful, They provide included with service White claws, mimosas, speciality drinks, etc Would recommend having a fun girls day here.
