I was gifted a gift card to this establishment and went around 4:00 p.m. on a Friday. It was very busy, but my nail tech was pleasant and greeted me right away. I picked out my color, and before I knew it, the pedicure was basically over. From start to finish, the entire service lasted only 22 minutes and cost $50, which was very disappointing. My cuticles were barely touched, and my nails were not shaped at all. The service felt rushed and incomplete, especially for the price. Unfortunately, I will not be returning. read more

I've been coming to this salon for a while because it's very close to my house and convenient, but unfortunately this last experience really broke the camel's back for me. I paid $70 for a Gel X set and within the same day two nails had already popped off when I got home. Several others were lifting around the cuticle and felt like they were about to come off as well. By the next day, the rest of the nails had also come off. Unfortunately, I was leaving for a trip the next day so I wasn't able to go back to the salon to have them fixed. Gel X nails should normally last at least 2-3 weeks, so having them fall off within hours was extremely frustrating. For the price, I expected much better quality and durability. After this experience, I unfortunately can't justify continuing to go here and would expect a refund for a service that didn't even last a full day. read more

Brandon was the best! Such a good 1st time experience. Definitely going back. He was so attentive and patient. I brought my 3 year old daughter with me and it was her first time. He was able to shape my nails perfectly and the color and shape I requested was exactly what I envisioned. I went in for a gel pedicure. The massage chairs are new and don't leave you feeling beat up after like older chairs do. The vibe was good. They play fun music and have ambience channels. They are clean and super busy but understandable since they do a great job. Kevin was great and he offered to squeeze in a gel polish last minute for me. I didn't do gel manicure just polish. My appoint time was 12:30 and I was out by 1:40. That's with the added gel polish on my hands. Will be going back for sure! read more

My toes hurt and throbbed for a week after getting a pedicure here.. no infection but the guy was rough and dug deep into the sides, also cut off some surface skin.. I know some people really like that but I don't. He also used an efile take down my previous set, he over did it because my toenails are now flimsy and feels like they are gonna rip off when I wear shoes. I also got a gel manicure. Horribly done and rushed even though it wasn't busy. No attention to detail, paint pooled at the tips and my nails looked flared out. You can see how bumpy it is too due to being harsh with the efile in the pictures. This is why I hate going to walk in salons! read more

Ken has been doing my nails for over a year with builder gel on my natural nails! They never break or chip and I work in an operating room so I'm constantly scrubbing and washing my hands. It's been probably over a year since I last got a mani pedi. I like treating myself here and there because of the relaxation and hand/feet massages. Upon entering Wynn Nails&Spa, it was already such a lovely vibe. I came about 10 minutes after they opened. I got a simple mani/pedi and this salon exceeded my expectations from start to finish. I chose two gorgeous mermaid/chameleon type colors and overall, couldn't be happier. I want to take extra time to shout out the two staff who worked on my nails and feet. When it came to clipping and overall maintenance of my nails, it was painless. At one point I thought I'd fall asleep. I've had previous experiences where it's a nightmare for the staff to do any kind of clipping or cuticle work on my nails because it was simply too painful. Thank you Wynn Nails and spa! First time at this salon. i was late meeting my friend at the salon. They held the seat next to my friend for me even though the salon was busy. Ken did my pedicure. He was the first pedicurist who could speak English. The chairs are exceptional and accommodate tall women. The soaking water was recirculated and remained warm. I was very impressed at this point. The pedicurist quoted me $50 but when i reviewed the receipt the charge was $60. I should have reviewed the charges at the register. When I looked closer at my toenails it looks like the polish is not even especially on the big toes. In the past at other salons the ends of the nails were sealed with the polish. After this pedicure the ends look white when you look closely at them. read more

So very disappointed! Had a mani/pedi last Monday 4/29/24 for vacation. I told mani girl my nail beds are SUPER oily and that she had to really rough them. She said nothing! Just kept pulling my arm closer to her which really hurt she was doing mani while getting pedi which I did NOT want to do but they made me feel horribly guilty so I went with it.. She NEVER said two words. Massages sucked. She just didn't want to either do my nails or be at work. Definitely won't be using her again! But the BEST part.... She didn't listen and f'd up my nails. I came here on 2/12/23 as my nail girl Linda recently started working at this location with her husband. I always go wherever they go as she is amazing! The location was easy to find (I stopped by the dollar tree before entering). Anyways, Linda is amazing and so friendly and always encourages me to try something different. The shop was so packed for a Super Bowl Sunday! It was a little wait as I didn't mind as I kept busy on my phone and just exploring the new location shop. It was clean inside and all staff at least most wore face mask. I prefer to wear mine still as I wear my mask in crowded places . Anyways, it was a lovely experience. The customers are so friendly and made me be social for a while chatting away. Not too far from my residence. Friendly owner, staff and if you are new to the place Ask for Linda or Ken :D they will hook it up! Overall, nice new location and so many colors and designs it is so hard to choose from!!! Got my nails done by Calvin. I've had many other nail experiences but I really felt relaxed while I was getting my nails done. I was feeling sleepy because of it. He was gentle with pushing my cuticles down, which was actually pleasantly surprising because it's a very simply action but he was gentle with my hands and many nail techs I've had in the past were pretty rough with my hands. Brand new nail salon that just opened on the SE corner of Fowler and Shields in the same parking lot of Starbucks. They are the only nail salon around that area which I think is a benefit for them and myself. I normally drive up to Herndon and Fowler to get my nails done. It's a clean, basic nail salon. I've gone twice since they have opened; once to get a gel manicure and most recently to get a pedicure. Both times I've gone in that late afternoon around 4pm. Both times I walked in and was seated right away. I had the owner, Helen do my nails both times and she did a great job both times. She is very friendly and chatted with me about her family and how long she's been doing nails, which has been a very long time. When I returned the second time about a week and a half later to get my pedicure my nails were still in good condition with no chips, just a little growth. They have a large selection of colors for dip, gel, and regular polish. I'm a very simple person and only get gel on my hands and regular polish on my toes so I love places that have matching polish for both. They are reasonably priced in services and you can add extra services for your pedicure which is fun. read more

I had a girl named Sarah that was doing my nails, but Sarah doesn't speak English or pretends not to speak English so it's hard to communicate with her, but of course the issue is always that they speak their language when they're upset you ask for something and they don't wanna do it. I do not like when they start speaking a different language. You do not understand it's aparent they're talking about you.. lately, Sarah has been lacking on her work and I feel like she's just doing it fast to get it over with but they charge $55 mind you that's not chump change and I also take my daughters there which they charge $15 just for polish, but this last time, they just did not do a good job at all so we will be looking for a new place that does not speak a foreign language. Lots of pros and cons: PROS: 1). chairs adjust for us tall people! This is a big plus for me. 2) ATM available. (But see below) 3) I liked the continually circulating water. Great. 4) very busy morning but they were kind enough to save a chair next to me for my friend who was a few minutes late. CONS: 1). my female pedicurist made zero attempt to greet me . . . or get help when I said, "Please stop. That hurts". (Calf massage was rough and very heavy handed). I had to call out to other employees who quickly came and asked her to stop. She did not apologize nor did she seem to have any remorse. 2) no evidence seen that tools have been autoclaved. . No sterile packaging opened for each customer that I could see. And I was really looking. I am an RN and this is very important to me. Fungus worries here. 3) ATM machine is in corner of salon and was blocked completely by equipment and customers waiting in chairs. Forget getting cash there unless you want to disrupt multiple people. 4) my friend and I paid for our pedicures at front desk but there was a problem: I heard Ken as he stated to my friend it would be "50 dollars" while he ran her card. After leaving the salon I asked her about the charge (as mine had been $60). She checked her receipt and was surprised to find she had been charged $60. Things happen. Ok. But today she shared that she had written a review relating this problem and had received a VERY inappropriate message from owner. He wrote "You are a liar. " I note today that his response is not visible to readers- lucky for him. 4). Sadly my nails did not have any cuticles pushed back . . And there was paint on the cuticles on 3 toes. Bummer. IN SUMMARY: You may need to supervise your procedure here as it appears there is inadequate quality. Check the tips of your nails too before leaving . . Mine were not all sealed and white showed. She made them thin and skinny and no one has ever been able to make them this way for me before. They charge extra for different shape of nails. Since I got almond shape, it was $5 more. I went back in for a fill 2 weeks later and that same lady wasn't there that day. Someone else had helped me filled my nails and it was okay. I was charged $42 for a fill which a full set gel polish fill was $37 on the board, a full set gel polish with "almond shape" was $40. They charged me extra for "nail shape almond" when they didn't even had to shape it. I already pay for the almond shape on my previous visit. Didn't realized this until I already left. So my fault however I felt a bit cheated afterwards. For this I'm dropping 2 stars. Will I recommend this place? Sure! Nails were nice. Went in for a fill. Been here several times. It's close to home so it's convenient. They started filing down my nails then applying the powder for the fill. After the powder was applied you can see where my outgrowth was and I told them that this isn't what it's supposed to look like. They told me they only have clear powder and in order to cover that I would have to paint my nails a solid color. My nails were French to start with and I wanted to keep that. So I said "No. This isn't right. It's not supposed to be like that. I don't want to continue further." He okay they will file it off what they put on and be done. This is a wonderful place! Nice, friendly, clean, does not have a strong over bearing smell of nail chemicals, and relaxing atmosphere. I wanted to try a new location. I didn't even have to wait more than two minutes, perhaps because I went on a Monday around 4:00. Got my gel pedicure and gel manicure done within an hour with Tracy. She's a great nail tech.
