However, after we sat down, about 10 other people came in for pedicures. Every single one of them was seated and helped before my daughter. The staff expected the same technician who was doing my pedicure to also do both my daughter's manicure and pedicure, even though we had an appointment. Meanwhile, everyone else who walked in after us was being helped by separate technicians. It was extremely frustrating and unfair. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time we've experienced poor service here recently. Because of that, we won't be returning.

One of my acrylics was lifting and extremely painful when pressed, and when I mentioned this to her, she was extra careful when removing it by holding the nail down and filing gently. It turns out that my pain was from a broken nail halfway up the nail plate which made me nervous to continue with gel (I don't get my nails done frequently). Lynn was very reassuring and did a great job reinforcing the nail with dip and I assume some strengthening polish, plus gave me advice on when she thinks it will grow out long enough to cut it and get rid of the split. I wasn't in any pain and my nails look great! I was so nervous because I know some nail techs can be rough, but I left so relieved. Price was fair as well - $40 for acrylics removal and a fresh gel coat that I'm happy with. They only accept cash tips though so plan accordingly.

I was completely fine paying extra, and I was told it wouldn't be a problem. However, once another customer walked in asking for a fill, the technician completely changed her attitude. She started rushing through my nails, brushing over them repeatedly, and seemed visibly annoyed when I confirmed I wanted French tips. It felt like my service suddenly became an inconvenience because she didn't want to "lose" the fill appointment. Out of courtesy for the other customer who was waiting, I ended up settling for a solid color, even though that's not what I came in for. Despite that, my nails were still rushed and messy, and the final result looked sloppy and unfinished. She was nice at the beginning, but once the other customer arrived, the service dropped significantly. I didn't say anything at the time because there were people waiting, but I left unhappy with both the quality and the experience. If a salon offers a service, customers shouldn't be made to feel like a burden for requesting it -- especially when they're willing to pay for it. Unfortunately, this experience was enough for me to say I won't be coming back.
