During my gel pedicure, the massage felt very repetitive, as she kept massaging the same area of my feet, as if rubbing it raw. She also repeatedly looked at the timer and her watch and was yawning throughout the service, which made me feel like she was tired and ready to finish. At one point, another client was talking loudly on her phone. Megan seemed annoyed by it and tried to engage me in the annoyance, but I chose to just brush it off and enjoy my service. My manicure with clear polish also felt rushed. Unfortunately, the gel polish on my right pinky toe has already come off, and I don't have the time to go back to have it fixed. Despite the experience, I still left a good tip because I appreciate the effort and wanted to be fair. I do like Luxe Nail Salon and would consider returning, but I hope the quality and attention to detail are more consistent. Perhaps Megan just needed a little more sleep or maybe she does a better job when she has more time to chat/gossip and connect with her clients.

When I asked for assistance, the manager, Lin, became involved but handled the situation aggressively--standing over me, interrupting me, and creating an uncomfortable, hostile environment. Lynn was very reassuring and did a great job reinforcing the nail with dip and I assume some strengthening polish, plus gave me advice on when she thinks it will grow out long enough to cut it and get rid of the split. I wasn't in any pain and my nails look great! I was so nervous because I know some nail techs can be rough, but I left so relieved. Price was fair as well - $40 for acrylics removal and a fresh gel coat that I'm happy with. They only accept cash tips though so plan accordingly.

I asked for gel X, and Lyly who did the gluing applied way too much glue. By the time I realized it, she had handed me off to a second nail tech to finish the job. Unfortunately the more I looked at my nails the more I realized they looked abnormally raised! I called the next day in the morning and Lyly said to go in and she would fix them for FREE! After she removed the nails I asked her to just do acrylic French tip and I would pay the difference. When she was ready to polish my nails she tells me to pick a solid color because I am too picky and that I need to pay $60. Excuse me! Why is she insulting me and why is she charging me for brand new services. If I had known she wasn't going to honor her word I would have never returned. I have never walked out without paying but that was the day. She then calls me and tells me I need to pay $40. I end up paying her for the sake of ending the back and forth but let it be known that NOT only did she insult me, she ripped me off and lied to me, as well as harassed me. Unfortunately I did not take pictures of the bottom of my nails. But I will upload one for reference. And I WILL block everyone's number because clearly Lyly didn't care about her customer's privacy when she sent me the screenshot. NEVER going here! Lyly is horrible.
