When you see the meat being shaved off of the spit, you know it's going to be good! Very impressed with everything on my chicken platter. I split it with my Mother and we were both full and satisfied. The lady assembling the food and the man at the counter were both very friendly. The food is good but the black lady that works there should at least ACT like she's happy to see customers versus an attitude. Two different times she's been highly inconvenienced that a customer walked in, and vocal about the fact. Today her complaint was that she was trying to eat her lunch. Does her employer not provide breaks for this?? Dear Management, Please hire staff that understand customer service is the primary focus in a food service job. Place is clean. The one guy working was great! Very quick and polite. I had chicken bowl which was very good. Could have had more rice but yummy. The salad is AMAZING for sure and the falafels are on point! We will def be back for more! read more

Ordered food through the app. Wait time of approximately 20 minutes. Showed up and they didn't see the order. Rocky start but they recovered quickly. Baklava was delightful, platter plate with lamb and all the sides was everything you would want it to be. The hummus was fresh and the pita light/fluffy/hot. Chicken gyros were fresh and meat was tender and seasoned nicely. Good customer service with a quick recovery for a forgotten online order. This guy hits the nail on the head when it comes to Greek food. The lamb gyro is perfect (but can be a little skimpy on portions sometimes, it's hit or miss, but never enough to review negatively). The falafel is exactly how it's supposed to taste. Service is generally quick, but parking can be a pain because of the layout of the area it's in. I have been in here probably 7 or 8 times or already, in the past few months. They offer the best deal around with their Gyro special, it's $5.95 and it's massive, and btw it comes with fries. I usually bring home hummus from here about twice a week too. I have been coming here for years. I love that you can get a flavorful salad that is different from your average salad. The meat, when freshly sliced is tasty. My issue is that some time ago they began pre-slicing the meat and having it sit on a grill top until needed. This makes the meat greasy on the outside and dry on the inside. Please go back to slicing your meat to order. It is worth the wait. read more

The gyro was pretty good but a little bit dry I would recommend to get a sauce with it for an extra charge which would definitely make they gyro taste much better. This is my family's go to spot for gyros. Period. The gyros come out flawlessly delicious. There aren't any customers going in (which is unfortunate due to how good they are) so wait times are non-existent and they prepare them quick. Another thing to note are how good the fries are (which really are just frozen fries heated up) but the spices are what make the flavor. We were headed to the subway next door, but I couldn't resist the chance to get some Greek food from what looked like an authentic place, and it didn't disappoint. This place is great! This is the only gyro place I've seen at Jax that have the spinning grill and they carve the meat to order. I like that as it makes one side of the meat slightly crisp, while the other side still tender. I ordered the lamb gyro "all the way" combo which comes with a side of seasoned fries and a drink ($9.58, including tax.) The gyro meat was really the good. The fries were just OK as it was cooked a little too crispy for me and not a big fan of the seasoning they use. However, I'm sure you can ask them to not put the seasoning or for a different side. Besides, I didn't come here for the fries. When they are not busy, they also bring you tea, which is a great way to end the meal. Again, I'm sure you can come and get it yourself if they are busy as the thermos with the tea is sitting on the counter next to the pick up area (not to be mistaken for the "ice tea" area across the register). Btw, the drink is not bottomless. You are only allowed 1 refill. So, if you drink a lot with your meal, ask for less ice. :) read more

They make the best gyros and baklava that money can buy! Greek cuisine is my favorite and I've tried several different places but none of them compare to Choban. The lamb is tender and delicious, the tsaziki is delicious and perfectly seasoned, and the baklava is so sweet it practically melts in your mouth.
