The perfect size thrift shop that actually has unique finds and nice clothes for a good deal. I can…read moretell that the pieces they choose have a vintage vibe to them and are trendy, but I still do see clothes mixed in that are fast fashion when swiping through the racks. The jewelry is limited but carefully selected, as well as home and kitchen decor, vinyl recs, and stationary on the left of the store. They have a nice selection of kids and baby clothes in the back. The clothing racks were organized and color coordinated which I really appreciate as thrift shopping could be overwhelming at times. I adored Sundance Thrift shop, and the service was very welcoming!

five stars for Cameron! she was sweet & kind to my daughter & myself…read more store itself is very cute & i appreciate the air conditioning.. this was the second thrift store i visited w my six year old daughter in Santa Ana today (July 7th Monday) & the staff at both were so nice but i preferred Sundance as the clothes were all in condition to be bought if you know what i mean. vintage items can be expectedly worn in of course, especially if they're a decent or recognizable brand. prices were fair imo & i appreciated that the store seemed well taken care of & organized. Cameron was the only staff member from what i could tell & the entire time she was organizing & putting items back. as another reviewer mentioned there is a decent amount of target brand but if you take the time to look you can find a gem for sure! they have a small room w kids items (clothes, toys, games, shoes) & it was nice to know where my daughter was while i shopped. they also have fitting rooms!! major bonus. apologies to Cameron as my daughter & myself left the store at 5:59 but she still gave me a Loyalty Card after i inquired. lovely little thrift store, i will be back!

Since then, I never gave Plato's Closet another chance. Today, I happened to be down the road from another resale store and thought, "Why not? Let's see if they'll take anything this time." When I walked in, a very nice employee asked me to place my items on the counter. She checked if I had sold there before, and even though it had been years, I was still in their system. I even joked and told her, "You guys probably won't be able to take anything, but that's okay. I've been trying to sell this bag of clothes for a while, and other resale stores haven't taken any of it." She told me there were three people ahead of me and that she'd send me a text when they were finished. I spent some time looking around the store while I waited. Personally, I didn't find much for myself because I don't think they have a huge selection in the large to XXL sizes, but I stayed inside since it was pretty warm outside. When I got the text that my buy was finished, I accidentally got in the wrong line, but the employees kindly pointed me in the right direction. Then the girl who had gone through my items called me over and said, "I'm surprised you told me we wouldn't take anything because we took 27 of your items!" I was honestly shocked and so happy. I explained that I'd been trying to get rid of these clothes at different resale stores and nobody wanted them. She told me I had some really good pieces, which made me feel even better. They showed me everything they took, and I asked if I could take a quick picture since some of the items were also listed on my Depop. She was super nice and said, "Of course!" In the end, they offered me $97.50 for 27 items, and I happily accepted. I only left with three items still in my bag, which is amazing considering how full it was when I walked in. Now that I know they accept some vintage pieces, trendy items, and more inclusive sizes, I'll definitely be coming back. I didn't get the employee's name, but she was incredibly kind and made the whole experience enjoyable. Overall, this trip completely changed my opinion of Plato's Closet. My first experience wasn't great, but this visit was pleasant from start to finish.

I'd suggest calling ahead so there are no surprises. I also suggest calling them to see what they're currently shopping for. On the phone they told me what they were and weren't looking for. While they looked through my bag, I got to shop the store. They have a variety of clothes, accessories and shoes. I would happily return.

I've found some pretty neat items like a good collared denim button up shirt and even a flight suit for an upcoming themed event. The store is organized by type of clothing (e.g. menswear, jackets, formal or evening wear) and color. Shoes, kids' books, and home decor can be found in the back and there's even a sweet little treasure chest where your little ones can pick out a toy for free! Full Circle also offers promotions depending on what day you pop by, like "color of the week Wednesdays" and "frame and art Fridays." There's usually only one associate in the store, but I've had good experiences from different people the times I've gone. I love the messaging and giving back to the community! There is free coffee at the door and a table where you can anonymously write prayer requests. Just another reason to keep coming back!
