This is a large thrift store that is relatively clean and has great selection. They have plenty of men's and women's clothing, as well as furniture and housewares. There is a parking lot in front so parking is not a problem. The pricing is very affordable since most items are 2 to 4 dollars..you can find lots of good deals on lightly used items. I was able to get a couple of T-shirts and a shoulder bag. The workers are helpful as well. I recommend this thrift store and will be visiting again. read more

I used to love this thrift store and literally would go out of my way to come here and shop. I was unaware that there is a rule for no strollers and took my toddler into the store with a stroller and he tends to cry in the metal carts here. I have not had a problem at the other location with a stroller, but 5 minutes into my shopping I was forcibly escorted out of this store by an incredibly rude male employee, as if I was a criminal not a parent just unknowingly breaking a rule. This store has a wonderful selection, which is why it is a shame I will never be returning to this location and am so offended at the way I was treated while shopping. Don't treat your customers like criminals! I brought my stroller into the store because I have never had a problem with it at literally any other store and it is the only way my son is okay with being brought shopping, not to do anything nefarious. read more

I don't know how i've never been here before. I love thrifting and finding cool vintage pieces. I've been to a few other thrift stores in the area and this place has the best prices and best product for someone like me. The store is so organized and the racks aren't stuffed like other stores. They have a HUGE selection of dresses which is my favorite thing to shop. The prices are amazing and when I went most of my stuff was 1/2 off. I sometimes go thrifting when there are sales and literally can't find anything that's on sale. Also I went on a Saturday and it wasn't crowded at all. Very nice shopping environment. Like I said, prices are amazing. The most I paid was $7......which is like a bargain in my opinion. I'm used to paying $16 for a dress at the goodwill by my house. I also got a nice denim vest for $2, some more dresses for $3-$5, and a skirt for $2. I will say I don't think there is AC but it really wasn't an issue for me because they had plenty of fans. This is an average thrift store, the main items being rows and rows of clothing. My son and I usually look for books in thrift stores, the best being Savers in Huntington Beach. However, Sav Mor's selection is impressive because some employee goes through the trouble of sorting the books. Even though there aren't that many books (another Yelper pointed out that the number of books depend on donations), the ones they do have are sorted, in decent condition, and CHEAP. I also found a Titleist Sunday golf bag in great shape for $9. Like every thrift store, sometimes you just get lucky. However, the more often you visit, the luckier you get. We plan to put this Santa Ana Sav Mor into our rotation for shopping thrift stores in OC. read more

Expectations must be managed before coming here. You will not find a lot of well known brands so don't expect to find any lululemon. You may find some addidas and Nike and the vintage selection is sparse. It is a lot of fast fashion, worn in but extremely cheap. Though I found an older style silk dress by Laundry and they said it was $20! There's quite a bit of inventory but I didn't find anything to write home about. You have to really dig before you find something. If you just need some basics and don't want to spend a lot, this store is for you. If you are looking for quality long lasting garments or vintage or better labels like Chico's or cache or jones New York (which aren't high end) you won't find it here. And no lululemon and contemporary brands like Reformation and Coach - not worth coming to if you are a reseller but for generally cheap clothes it's ok. It's cheap. read more

Beautiful shopping/thrifting experience both donating and purchasing! The people who work there are grateful for all donations and it such a joy to give to them! Our daughter has found amazing gowns for proms/dances/quiceneras here with great prices for the beauty and quality! We love coming here although the area is rough it feels good to give and shop here! Other thrift stores in the local area of North OC seem to have forgotten that donations are something to be grateful for and how they make their living! Especially since most of them are a Non-Profit and don't pay taxes. Our preference is to give where it feels right and this place is it for us! read more

Although the name is missing a few letters in its name, this thrift store marks all the checks off my list! The prices are amazing! The first purchase I ever made was only $6 due to their 50% off sales for certain colored tags. The parking lot is huge! Most thrift stores have shared parking lots and get pretty full but this thrift store has its own parking lot. The staff is friendly! They take card and cash but prefer cash! Sometimes you can cut the line if you have cash and go to the register on the right. The only downside is that they don't have a huge selection of clothes. I love this store (and the one in Fullerton in case you didn't know that there is another location). This thrift store brings me back so many memories of when my mom used to take us to thrift stores the price of clothing and the size of the store is awesome. When it comes to kitchen ware and some home goods the selection is not that much but clothing you have so much to sort through. Every other weekend Friday and Saturday usually they have select color tags at 50% off and Sundays they have a sale still going on just check the store location. The sales are especially helpful as a Mom of two rapidly growing boys. Heads uppp! The driveway out is tricky! I've scraped the crap outta my car for not paying attention and they charge $1 if you're total is under $10. Happy thrifting! read more

I was visiting the area from out of town and wanted to do some thrift store hopping. The parking lot is quite large, which is a big plus. I'm a big book shopper when I visit thrift stores, and I love picking up books for my kids. They didn't have a huge book selection (which I can't fault them for... thrift shop selection is dependent on what people donate), but the prices were fantastic! I was able to pick up quite a few hardcover kids chapter books (like the Origami Yoda and Last Kids on Earth series) for 65 cents each! I also found some paperback chapter books (Geronimo Stilton for 49 cents! There wasn't much of a toy selection when I was there, but I did find a few kids games (A Learning Resources game that retails for $30 for $1.99 and Think Fun's Gravity Maze also $1.99). As a side note, they write the prices directly onto the game boxes and inside the book covers. For me, I don't mind. The games were sealed with masking tape making them easy to open (unlike some stores that use packing tape that doesn't come off cleanly without damaging the box). I browsed the clothing, just briefly. This shop staples the price tags onto the fronts of shirts. I understand it's quicker and cheaper for stores to do, but staples can't be removed out without leaving holes in the garments. To me, this is a big turnoff when it comes to thrift shops. The book prices and game prices were good enough for me to consider this a four star experience. Although I wouldn't buy clothes here, I'd definitely check it out again if I were in the area! read more

FYI: Their white tag items are grossly overpriced. Their white tag items are more expensive than Goodwill's white tags. Also, their name brand, higher end shoes are kept behind the counter. Whenever I've gone dressed up (after an interview or something) they've charged me double for things I didn't buy. For example, today I got charged for two "Lady Pant Blouse" but I only bought one. It has happened about twice now so I feel I had to say something, because I know it's not a mistake. Just make sure to check your receipt so you're not taken advantage of. The name says it all! SAV-MOR THRIFT has inexpensive prices with a gigantic inventory! The building itself looks very dated but it's what's inside that counts - which is hundreds of good-finds. I very often have to leave desirable items behind because my bill is well-racked and past my budget. The staff is friendly and the facility is efficient with at least five dressing rooms. Downside would be there is not a public restroom so beware. Call ahead of time to find out whether there are any daily specials, it's well worth the effort.
