Love the vegan flavors here- they are next level and surprisingly way better than strictly vegan…read moreshops where everything annoyingly tastes of coconut undertones. They have a nice canvas sail overhead to give some shade for seating. The inside is super small. Not what I was expecting. It was similar to Salt & Straw on the Vancouver Waterfront. It's definitely a grab and go type of establishment. I didn't see any baked goods displayed at all. Maybe they've done away with those options?! They had a nice variety of ice-cream flavors to choose from, including non-dairy selections. They also had floats. I decided on the single scoop Mint Cookies & Cream. It was absolutely delicious, and fresh! No freezer burn whatsoever, and plenty of cookies throughout. The mint flavor wasn't too overpowering either. It was the perfect after lunch treat! Staff was okay. Not super friendly at all. She didn't say much when I walked in either. I was the only one in there. It looked like you could sample some of their flavors too, but I wasn't sure if the extra interaction was welcomed. Definitely a different customer service vibe than Salt & Straw; their employees are so friendly and personable. Overall an okay experience. The ice-cream was delicious, but customer service lacking.

So, I won't lie, I had REALLY high expectations when I chose this out of all the other options for "dinner". I. Am. Blown. Away. The waitress was patient and answered all my questions. The place is small but clean. They run out of their seasonal, so be aware. My husband paid while I went to the bathroom and he kinda made a comment about 25 bucks for two ice creams, which surprised me as well. Until she gave us the ice cream. My Mt St Helens was three largish scoops with a delightfully large amount of toppings. His ice cream cone came in one of the largest cones I've ever seen. It's thicker and crispier than commercial so I think they make their cones in house! But the rockstar is the ice cream itself. I grew up in the area and so I'm very familiar with northwest flavors. This ice cream is like my childhood in a scoop. The ice cream has enough fats to give a nice mouth feel and I'm not even sure they use Guar gum or carrageenan. The honey tastes local. Even the raspberry syrup tastes like raspberries off the side of a country road that are ripe but not too ripe. That sweet sour taste. If you are traveling through or a guest of this town, you have to try the ice cream.

The side I chose were onion rings. They were big and delicious! They even let me choose my bottled drink. I chose a bottle of Coca-Cola. Cold and refreshing on a hot day. It was in the 90s°F outside. It was nice to dine in, with cold A/C. My daughter ordered the bacon cheeseburger with an extra beef patty. I could tell she loved her burger because she was quietly devouring it. They even let her select the type of cheese she wanted, from the cheese options they have. What-what?!? Who does that? They do! She selected the fries. We were pleasantly surprised that they were crinkle fries. And the portion was generous. They were crisp and delicious. For dessert we had donuts. Always really good! If we had enough room in our tummies, we would have ordered ice cream too. After her burger, fries, bottle of Diet Coke, and donut, my daughter had her fill. We were both in a food coma. In a good way! The service was good. There was plenty of seating. Large parking lot. Best of all free parking. If you love burgers, fries, onion rings, sodas, donuts, and ice cream, you must go to Angel's Donuts by the mall. They're open late too. We WILL be back.

So it looks like there may be a wait at times, just a heads up. Order at the counter. Staff calls your number and brings the item out to you. The shop interior is cute and minimal, and they have number of two-person tables outdoors on their patio. We got a couple of items: the fruity pebbles, the Biscoff, and the watermelon. It was very helpful to have photos of the items at the counter. Nevertheless, we ordered too much - they were HUGE. We should have split. But we all loved the bingsu - the actual shaved milk is not too sweet and the toppings add the flavor. So the watermelon was a little less sweet overall as the fruit was the flavoring since there was no syrup. The fruity pebbles and the Biscoff were a little bit more sweet and layered throughout, which is what I wanted.

Smallest size was perfect for sharing between two people, and at $10.99 it was pricy but worth it. That said, the wait time was longer than expected, even with only 1-2 orders ahead of us. The cup design also seemed impractical, since all the toppings were piled high and at risk of falling over while eating. Still, I will 1000% be back to try more flavors!!
