My husband and I came here on a random whim for the first time and left as repeat customers! We first went grocery shopping for spices and were really impressed by how organized everything was and the reasonable prices (which btw is a huge deal because my hubby compares prices to World Food Wholesale Market where everything is wholesale priced!) after shopping we decided to try out their vegetarian kitchen. We ordered the pani puri on the recommendation of the cashier, and BOY WERE WE PLEASED!! The pani puri was AMAZING! Definitely one of the BEST in Houston!! I forgot to take a picture, but honestly wasn't expecting to write a review so didn't think of picturing it. We also ordered the chai which was phenomenal too! We liked the pani puri so muchh that we packaged the leftover pani and bought some puris to make pani puri at home with their pani! SOO GOOD! You won't regret it!!

Review 10! The other day after having dessert around here i noticed this place and was curious to check it out. My family always goes to Chinese stores whenever they need everyday foods like vegetables and stuff, and I wanted to see other groceries other than the typical American ones and the Chinese ones we frequent so I decided to look around this Indian Grocery. It's pretty hidden from view and I only found this place when driving back from an ice cream shop. I've actually been to a couple Indian groceries already but this one is unique to the area due to the fact that there is also a small restaurant inside too! I only ordered a sweet lassi this time but it was good so I may be back to get other things. The market itself is ok. The aisles are kind of small and hard for me to get around but the service was very friendly. You can probably find some desi goods here that can't be found in other stores (maybe). It's not the closest Indian market to me, but maybe I could come back for the restaurant.

It used to be good! In the beginning, now for the past few times , all we got is Burnt sukhay paperd instead of soft tasty unburnt NAAN'S ,

Delhi chaat, good taste and spice balance

Nice store, convenient location.. from the kitchen tried the kadhi and chaat, both were very good .. will definitely go again ..

Best before says May 2019. Took this picture on 09/06 when I went there to buy parampara biryani masala.

When I stopped by on a weekday evening at 9pm it was packed. They had stations setup throughout the store to order different goods, which helped to alleviate the rush. Knafeh ($6) - They offered 2 types of knafeh, one with cheese and one with custard. I went with the one made with Nabulsi cheese and topped with shredded phyllo, and soaked in sugar syrup. It was warm, crispy and delicious! Karak tea ($5) - This milk tea drink was made with aromatic spices, primarily cardamom, cloves, ginger and cloves. I was happy to see they used whole milk instead of evaporated milk. The drink was incredibly rich and creamy and tasted great. Turkish delight ($18 / lb.) - This was extremely fresh, soft and chewy, made with cornstarch, sugar, nuts. Some of the varieties I tried had chocolate and/or fruits. The baklava here was fresh made with layers of phyllo dough, chopped nuts, and held together with some honey. The nut offerings here included, almonds, walnuts, peanuts and a few more. Overall I was impressed with everything they offered here with the exception of the nuts, which I thought were just ok. I'd definitely return if I was in the area.

The desserts here are fun, unique, and very different from what you find at most places. My only…read morecomplaint is the lack of labeling for many of the products. For example, with the Turkish delights and ice cream selections, only a few items are labeled. For most of them, you have to guess the flavor or ingredients. When I asked questions, there was a language barrier, and the staff member behind the counter was unable to clearly explain what the items were in English. This can be especially frustrating for customers with food allergies or dietary restrictions. In the U.S., I would expect all flavors and ingredients to be clearly labeled so customers can make informed choices. Even if staff members are not fluent in English, having accurate labels for flavors and ingredients would greatly improve the customer experience. The desserts themselves are excellent, but better product labeling would make the experience much more enjoyable and accessible for everyone.

The manager I believed welcomed me BACK. I said "Oh thank you", but in my head I was thinking this was my first time back in months, lol. I must have a twin, lol. Ok, back to the review. The staff was very friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. There's also plenty of seating in a quaint, charming little market setting, making it a great spot to sit, relax, and enjoy your drink. Definitely a hidden gem--I'll be back to try more flavors! 5 stars!

Houston Flea Market is the definition of "you get what you pay for." It's overcrowded, disorganized, and feels like a maze of the same vendors selling the same cheap imported products over and over. The aisles can be dirty, parking is chaotic, and customer service varies wildly depending on who you're dealing with. Prices aren't always the bargain you'd expect either--many sellers charge close to retail unless you're willing to haggle. The food is one of the better parts, but it isn't enough to make up for the overall experience. If you're hoping to find unique antiques or hidden treasures, you'll probably leave disappointed after digging through piles of low-quality merchandise. Unless you specifically enjoy the flea market atmosphere or know exactly what you're looking for, there are much better ways to spend your time.

For vinegars they have everything from strawberry rhubarb & watermelon (they should just call it jolly rancher!) to hazelnut (that tastes more like coffee). And I only have ever seen just regular olive oil. But they have different flavors, including jalapeño! And is there just oil & vinegar? No way! There are also amazing sauces, butters, mayo and so much more. Try the hazelnut butter. I had to stop myself from eating the whole jar in one sitting. It's better than Nutella or any other hazelnut butter you've had (I promise!). The staff are so helpful. They don't just want to sell you, they honestly want to never be bored of the flavors. They will give you a couple awesome flavors that you can come back and refill with other favors. My husband and I have been coming here once a month (or more often) for the latter half of this year and I've truly never loved having daily salads more with all the different flavors and variations this place offers. They even have seasonal flavors. It's a cute little shop, but so much flavor and goodness packed into it. Just go there and you'll see for yourself!
