I went in for the penny candy that was sold by the weight. I found some of my long ago favorites and got to do comparisons from then to now. There were so many treats I wanted to buy! The shop is small and well laid out, little mementos mixed in with the sweet treats. The proprietor was stationed behind his counted, dapper in his dress attire, he was kind, friendly and easy going. I will go again, there were some cherished sweets there. Shop local!

The owner told me the products were all made locally or within the New England area so they're fresh. I picked up the best peanut butter cups I have ever tasted and a selection of other chocolate items for dinner with a friend.
