This business recently expanded into a larger storefront! The staff were friendly and the cupcakes were delicious. They have a wide variety of cupcakes and sweet treats to choose from. I dropped by the Saturday before Easter around 11:30 and they were already running low on stock. It was pretty busy with only two people serving but to be expected the day before Easter. I got 6 macarons at $3.50 a piece with the 6th one free and one kinder chocolate cupcake. Flavors I got for the macaron were blueberry lemon, dunkaroo, birthday cake, carrot cake, lavender, and cookie dough. I thought the macarons were all excellent except the carrot cake but the cupcake was really unimpressive... a little dry and frosting tasted a bit like grocery store cake frosting to me. I'd probably get the macarons again even though I think they are a little pricey but no round two on a cupcake. read more

I cannot believe I've been here in the past and I saw they mostly had macarons. I left without trying any.....well, in my defense I've never liked macarons, Until today. I bought a variety for a graduation party and I'm so glad I did!! They were a huge hit. So much so that I had to try one myself. Omg! They melt in your mouth! After having a late lunch nearby a few of us were craving something sweet, and someone wanted a cupcake in particular. After a quick Google search we found this cute little shop. They had a few cupcake flavors available, tons of macaron flavors and a vast variety of fun ice cream flavors. I got a cupcake, I wanted vanilla frosting so opted for the Main Street vanilla. It was cutely decorated with some candy decorations. I found the cake part kind of tasted stale, but frosting was delicious. I'm so glad I did a quick search online to find The Perfect Sweet Shoppe in Warren, as it's tucked away a bit off Main St, and not a place you can find unless you're specifically looking for it. While it's not a huge shop, they offer quite a selection of baked goods and ice cream. The layout is well thought out and decor is super cute. Although their specialty seems to be macarons, we went with ice cream since that's what we were in the mood for. We wound up going with vanilla, cookies & cream, and pistachio, all of which were delicious and of high quality. I stopped in with a friend she needed cookies for a party and I just tagged along. She got a box of assorted macaroons which she said that they were amazing the best she ever tasted. We stopped in after dinner at The Wharf and it ended up being the best decision of the night. The ice cream was excellent. I had the black raspberry chocolate chip. Creamy, great texture, packed with dark chocolate chunks. Portions were generous. What they call a kiddie size would be plenty for most people. The macarons deserve the real credit. Dozens of flavors, all baked in-house. Fruity Pebbles, tiramisu, pistachio, lemon, and so many more. Crisp shells, smooth fillings, no shortcuts. You could build an entire assortment box and you will still feel like you missed out on something. There were cupcakes, brownies, and chocolate covered Oreos too, each with their own variations. It's a bakery, not just an ice cream stop. The shop itself is clean, bright, and well put together. Despite the great AC, the staff was warm, they were helpful, and didn't rush a thing, even with all the choices. It's the kind of sweet little business that invites you to take your time. Nothing to show that it's a McQueen theme other than a piece of paper on the stick. The taste of this cake was awful. I stopped into The Perfect Sweet Shoppe on a casual walk through Warren. It was off a cute street filled with other local shops. The place was aesthetically appealing with homemade cakes showcased, macaroons, and cupcakes. All of the desserts were well done and beautiful. They had artwork hung up on the walls. We had been trying to try this shop for a while now. Finally we picked the perfect day to go. I can now tell why this shop is so popular! You are immediately greeted with one of the largest display of macrons that I have ever seen. If you wasn't a specific flavor, there is the chance that they have it! I snuck a bite from the macron on my wife's sundae, and they are easily the best that I have tried! For my sundae, I decided on the S'Mores sundae with Graham Central Station (of course). This was the most perfect combination ever. Graham cracker crumbles, chocolate chips, chocolate sauce, and toasted marshmallow. It was absolutely amazing and I highly recommend it! Amazing in every way. What a find. Hidden in the back but do they deserve a front and center of attention. Clean, variety and open baking kitchen with friendly staff says it all. The kind, sweet, happy and most attentive employees I've seen (especially these days). And don't forget the best macarons I've had and I've had and tried numerous places (Europe, South America and USA). The variety and the taste is fresh and unique, yet it still tastes as it is named and not fake and dyes. Wow. Amazing. Plus their yogurt and ice cream was unique as well and delicious. A bit pricey but they do that 5 and the 6th is free thing. The cupcakes were "tough" and we couldn't taste the almond and I just couldn't get into the frosting. I think it must have been a shortening based frosting. Very strange consistency. They were very pretty tho. The chocolate covered toffee was just not good. No flavor and wrong consistency. I ordered a cake for my son's 21st birthday in April 2022. It was amazing!! My entire party of 11 were amazed not only by the taste but the decoration as well.
