The ride takes you through a colorful, animated recreation of the chocolate-making process, following cocoa beans from harvest to finished chocolate bars with playful characters, catchy songs, and plenty of chocolate aromas along the way. It's a lighthearted attraction that's enjoyable for both kids and adults, and ending the ride with a complimentary piece of Hershey's chocolate is a simple but satisfying touch. There's much more to do beyond the tour. The Create Your Own Candy Bar experience lets you design a personalized chocolate bar by choosing your ingredients and even creating custom packaging, making for a memorable souvenir. You can go on the free ride about how chocolate is made- and then you get a free sample at the end! They have food options but I think they're pretty overpriced. I would only go if you're on a bus trip and don't have any other options. The gift shop is massive and has different merchandise than the park. They also have deals on certain chocolate items and sometimes have new products as well. The check out lines can get long but move very quickly. There is also a self checkout line than can be hard to find but is very quick. You have to stop by if you're visiting Hersheypark- don't miss it!
