Hershey's Chocolate World is a fun, family-friendly attraction located right next to Hershey Park,…read moremaking it one of the most popular stops in town whether you're spending the day at the amusement park or simply visiting Hershey. The moment you walk through the doors, you're greeted by the unmistakable smell of chocolate and a lively atmosphere filled with interactive exhibits, oversized candy displays, and one of the largest selections of Hershey products you'll find anywhere. It feels like a destination in its own right rather than just a gift shop. The highlight of my visit was the free Hershey's Chocolate Tour. The ride takes you through a colorful, animated recreation of the chocolate-making process, following cocoa beans from harvest to finished chocolate bars with playful characters, catchy songs, and plenty of chocolate aromas along the way. It's a lighthearted attraction that's enjoyable for both kids and adults, and ending the ride with a complimentary piece of Hershey's chocolate is a simple but satisfying touch. There's much more to do beyond the tour. The Create Your Own Candy Bar experience lets you design a personalized chocolate bar by choosing your ingredients and even creating custom packaging, making for a memorable souvenir. The Unwrapped tasting experience and 4D Chocolate Mystery movie add even more interactive entertainment, while the massive retail store is filled with exclusive merchandise, oversized candy bars, and limited-edition treats that aren't commonly found in grocery stores. If you're hungry, there are plenty of food options throughout the building. From towering milkshakes and fresh-baked cookies to sandwiches and other casual meals, it's easy to spend a few hours here without needing to leave. Short-term parking is free, although longer visits require paid parking, and weekends or peak summer afternoons can get quite busy. Fortunately, the spacious layout and efficient staff help keep the experience moving smoothly. Hershey's Chocolate World is more than just a stop for chocolate lovers. Between the free factory tour, interactive attractions, and endless selection of sweets, it offers an entertaining experience for visitors of all ages. Whether you're visiting Hershey park or simply passing through town, it's an easy attraction to recommend and one I'd gladly visit again.

You can spend the whole day here doing all of the interactive activities and shows. Honestly, I think they're pretty overpriced and you would be better off spending your time at the Hershey Story museum downtown. However, I think it's a must do if you visit the park. You can go on the free ride about how chocolate is made- and then you get a free sample at the end! They have food options but I think they're pretty overpriced. I would only go if you're on a bus trip and don't have any other options. The gift shop is massive and has different merchandise than the park. They also have deals on certain chocolate items and sometimes have new products as well. The check out lines can get long but move very quickly. There is also a self checkout line than can be hard to find but is very quick. You have to stop by if you're visiting Hersheypark- don't miss it!

Frederic was incredibly warm, welcoming, and friendly throughout our visit, making the entire process so enjoyable. We sampled several of the chocolates, and every single one was absolutely delicious. We ended up selecting Red, a red berry-filled chocolate, and Hedonism, a hazelnut and sea salt chocolate. The chocolates were a huge hit at our wedding! So many guests commented on how delicious and elegant they were. We made sure to let them know where they could buy more. We couldn't have been happier with our choice. The chocolates are incredible and the customer service is outstanding. My husband and I cannot recommend Frederic's chocolates highly enough!

I'm not being selfish; I'm simply concerned about your health LOL Wow. Just wow. I'm not sure where to begin with the superlatives. My companion and I paid our first visit on a recent Saturday morning. She had heard about the almond croissants and wanted to drop in and try one. It was all over once we entered the store and I was grateful to finally pry her away! This quaint little shop is tucked away in a mainly residential area a few blocks off Jonestown Road in Colonial Park. The shop is utterly immaculate, and from what we could see the production area was also spotless. The young man working the counter was very friendly and quite patient as my companion bounced from item to item, adding to our quickly burgeoning order. I finally managed to stop her and we escaped with an almond croissant, a butter croissant (mine), a bacon and Swiss quiche, and two wonderfully crafted desserts. I would have included a photo of the butter croissant, but I devoured it before we left our parking space. The photos are of one of the desserts--now long gone!--and the bacon and Swiss quiche, which I am savoring as I post this review. The quiche shell is basically perfect and the bacon is generously portioned and good sized, thick bits. Just wow. Frederic Loraschi Chocolate is absolutely worth a visit. Ever single aspect of our visit was superb, and I know we'll be back repeatedly. HIGHLY recommend. Do note that baked goods are only available on Saturdays, and the shop closes at noon on Saturday.
