WE HAD A BLAST!! My family and I came in while visiting Carlisle. And we immediately were greeted by a lovely lady with samples. The entire staff there was wonderful , however there's one super stand out star by the name of Abbie! She was so informative and personable. She was incredibly patient with my two young sons who had tons of questions and we're super excited. I honestly cannot wait to visit the store again. We happily joined the rewards program as we know that this was the first of many visits. The prices were incredibly reasonable, especially the promotion for 75 truffles for $37 that were also accompanied with a lovely gift bag. Tons of selection, especially of items that you can't find elsewhere. This is definitely a hidden gem in Carlisle. read more

OMG! If you are a chocolate lover, then you know Lindt chocolates are outstanding. This outlet store has to be a stop during your journey through the area. What I learned is, they are also the parent company to Metro, Ghirardelli and Russell Stover candies. Get the credit card out because even the deals will set you back a few bucks. read more

This is a great spot but I'm glad it's not local to me because I'd probably spend a lot of money here. While I wouldn't go in expecting great deals, they do have a lot of different flavors that you can't always get elsewhere. We always visit the Lindt Chocolate Factory around the Christmas season!!! They typically have great sales for Black Friday when you can purchase so many truffles at a great price. They also have many gift packs to choose from!!! It's always so much fun to select ALL of the flavors of truffles they have, including the Christmas flavors. (Let me just say upfront, overall chocolate doesn't do much for me (crazy I know compared to most) so my rating for a place like this is always going to be lower because overall, I could care less about what they're selling.) What this place is: Pretty easy to find off of 81. Easy to walk around and browse in since there was hardly anyone there. A good place to see a wide variety of their regular and seasonal offerings under one roof. What this place is not: A true factory outlet. If you're expecting to see the product being made here, you're obviously going to be disappointed. Just like if you're expecting some sort of huge discounts or deals, well, at least during our visit, nay-nay on that one as well. As an example, it's February and they still had a mountain of maple flavored truffles out there as a discount/clearance item, except the price difference between the bags of maple and the bags of regular priced flavors was marginal. One of those outlet store type of deals where the "sale" really isn't much of a "sale." Sure, in the end, we bought some stuff I guess just for the sake of saying that we did or in my case because I was curious/thought it was wild that they were selling flavors like matcha or something that was made with oat milk (definite no on that one ever again). The two members of staff seemed nice enough although no one was handing out any freebies. If you go, for the most part the store is open daily from 10-5 and their parking lot is huge. If you like chocolate/truffles and got some dough to burn (and you can on their pick your own boxes that can hold hundreds at a time) I guess this makes some sense. If not, well, at least you can say you saw their Lucky Charms rainbow of packaging colors. read more

I saw this place on TikTok and my boyfriend loves Lindor truffles, so I had to take him. We made a pit stop on our way to a wedding and we are so glad we went. They have SO many flavors of the truffles that you never see in stores. The cappucino is my personal favorite, and our cashier gave us a heads up that they'll be discontinued next year, which I'm so sad about. There's also discounted holiday boxes and a ton of tins/boxes that you can customize for gifts and special occasions. We're already pumped for our next trip. read more

This place used to be a whole lot friendlier. You used to be able to try any truffle you wanted. I can see how that could be abused and would be stopped, however. Then they used to greet you at the door with a truffle. Now no greeter, no truffle, one of the bathrooms is now employee only and you have to get a key from the front desk to use the other. Really? What am I gonna steal, the toilet? It's not a gas station for cryin out loud. read more

We were on a road trip and saw the sign off the side of the highway-we had to. It's a huge costco-esque building sparsely scattered with boxes and display cases filled with chocolate. If you love Lindt or just chocolate in general, I would definitely recommend at least stopping. The woman working there was incredibly nice and gave us a few samples to enjoy while we stuffed our goodie bags full of chocolate. Highlight of the trip (aside from the delicious chocolate) was taking a photo in front of the ridiculously large Lindt chocolate mural on the back wall. So great. Let me start off my saying that Lindt chocolates are my favorite. That said, I am giving this place a 3.5 stars. The outlet itself is fairly small. I've been to other chocolate factory outlets that were definitely more impressive. When we first walked in, we were greeted with a milk chocolate truffle, which was nice. The "create your own" truffle station had a great selection of flavors I never knew existed. The prices are not cheap, but there are a lot of deals (such as "buy three, get two free") that were offered. We ended up buying $50 worth of chocolate, and even signed up for their loyalty rewards program! I just wished there were more to the store (like maybe a factory tour) since it was quite small. read more

About 2/3 of the store was just regular retail prices, but a much greater selection than I could ever find at my local grocery or dept stores. Many flavors I had never seen before, which was neat! You can see the billboard with name Lindt outlet just driving by I-81. So just stopped by to check it out on a Friday afternoon. Has plenty of parking and just one or two cars were parked. They give a sample truffle as soon as you enter - there was a choice of milk or caramel fudge. Caramel fudge was so creamy and smooth - it just melts in your mouth. Inside was a huge one room warehouse with lots of selection. There were truffle bags, bars, chocolate boxes, individual cones and even chocolate by the pound all of them neatly stocked. The truffle bags had the deal of buy 3 get 2 free. Bars had a deal of by 3 get one free. They had chocolate by the pound - just fill up yr bag as much as you want. There were some European chocolates also by the pound which were very expensive. I would say selection wise had a much better choice than grocery store but the prices are not prices of an outlet store. If you get these in grocery stores or wholesale stores, the deals offered there are better. The staff is very helpful and explain everything and all the sales. read more

We visited this place a couple months ago and it's amazing to see what the inside look like. They gave us a couple of chocolate to sample for each person as soon as you walk in. Any kind of flavor that you never heard or see at the store, they have it there. The have sales items, depend on the season. Last time they have a Halloween candy for sale 100 pieces for $ 35. They also have clearance items, mostly in the back section of the store. They sell it in bulk. Price wise is reasonable. They also over a membership card, that will let you know what is the coming up event or sales they're going to have. So if you are driving in the area it's definitely worth it just to stop by and see what they have. read more

The only draw back is you have to go up to the counter to see how close you are to your proposed amount you're looking to buy. A scale in the middle would really help. But I can deal with this. Worth a side trip off of I-81. Easy access off the interstate. As you walk in, you are offered a choice of chocolate truffles and as you look around you realize you are surrounded by quite an array of chocolate. Lindt chocolate is probably the smoothest chocolate made and it was difficult leaving there with a small amount of it. It didn't matter to me if they were irregulars! It's great chocolate. They even have gift boxes. I don't know if these were cheaper priced than their store or website sales. Bring along a sweater since it's quite cool inside the store. read more

I saw the billboard for the Lindt Factory Outlet on I 81 in Carlisle as I passed the exit, going to visit my family in PA. I put it on the 'Stop there on the way home' list. I googled the hours and found TO MY EXTREME SURPRISE that there was an outlet even closer to my Moms house at the Philadelphia Outlet Mall in Sanatoga, PA. Went there the next day (Mothers Day) and loaded up. Even got my Mom and sister some (although not as much as me- after all they live closer). Happy, Happy Happy. Had to freeze some so I would not be a complete glutton. Going back in the fall...to visit the family, and the outlet! read more
