So my family and I were involved in the Thomas Fire 3 years ago.The insurance had Claud(Owner) take our clothes to clean them.Well it took 2 and a half years to get them back but only 75% back!!!!I've called thousands of times asking for our missing items they are saying "We dont know!!".Well I got pictures of the items they took and they sent us pictures..Jillan who is the manager always said I am bringing the clothes this week it took her 4 times to say that and never come!!No call no show!!!I will never trust Claud or Jillain for taking our belongings and never returning all of them..For all I know is they have them on Offer Up Let Go!!!!Take it as a warning these people only care cuz they got paid but I swear to G.. First impressions... I'm very happy that I chose this place to alter my bridesmaid dress. This dress has been a damned nightmare. They listened to what I felt needed to be changed and were sincere in their responses. There is NO sales gimmick or magical special add-ons that cost and arm and a leg. It's an honest place and a breath of fresh air after dealing with David's Bridal. Their cost was a literal 3rd and their turn around time was a 4th of what David's Bridal quoted me. This is the best cleaner and tailor in Simi Valley. Even the toughest repairs on my jeans are no problem for them. I faithfully bring all my jeans that ripped in the crotch (chub rub, due to being both active and overweight) and they patch them and sew them like new. I really want to like this dry cleaner because it's very convenient for drop off and pickup. On two occasions my entire order wasn't ready on time and I had to return to pick up the missing pieces. I decided that was okay and I would just start waiting a few days after the date the order is supposed to be ready. With my last order, they pressed a pair of dress pants with the hem out in one leg. I can't believe someone would deliver back a pair of pants with the hem completely out in one leg. After several chances, I'm sad to have to take my business elsewhere. read more

I had a very mediocre experience at Choice 1 Cleaners. Although I was satisfied with the dry cleaning service, I was less than impressed with the quality of its alterations. I had them shorten my blazer sleeves and trousers. A few weeks later, I realized that my sleeves were uneven, and the thread in my trouser hems kept getting caught in my sandals and shoes. Although I had no problem using the Yelp Deal, I don't think that I will come back. It's not about the customer service; I'm just not thrilled about the quality. read more

I have usually had good experiences. The gentleman who owns the place has always been nice. I have had dresses cleaned before with other items. But the price seemed abnormally high. I politely asked the woman who was working why it was so expensive. She got very defensive and said due to the dresses. I then had to ask more on what was it about the dresses. I was honestly asking, because I did not know. She did give a discount, but continued the rest of the transaction with such an unwelcoming attitude. There are many other cleaners, and they all are about a mile away. Simi businesses need to realize, customer service is everything!! I have no problem spending my money, but if you are going to give me weird energy while doing so, and you have high prices. I will gladly go elsewhere. read more

I cannot say enough about this place! I have been getting my clothes dry cleaned for several years now. I love that they know me by name and the quality is awesome. These are the type of owners that are not just interested in your business but your life. They don't try and rush you out the door unless you are in a hurry. My wife and I recently needed our bridal dresses altered and they did an amazing job and were so concerned with getting it pressed and picked up immediately so they looked beautiful for the wedding. This was my first time at this location and I had really high hopes for it. I dropped off a pair of scrub pants to get hemmed on 9/1 and they said it would be ready in a week (the following Wednesday) so I went on Friday 9/10 to pick them up and they weren't done. They asked me if I could wait a few minutes for them to do right away. I agreed but was extremely disappointed for the inconvenience and wasn't even offered a discount.
