I spent an hour and a half there for a hearing test with the doctors main intention to upsell me versus adjusting my hearing aids that I currently have. He told me he ran out of time and I'd have to make another appointment. That's bull crap and I'm not going back. He told me it was under new ownership and that has totally ruined the reputation of good sound audiology. I do not recommend them.

My Mother purchased her hearing aids from Zounds, the office Manager Nicole was great when…read morepurchasing them. My Mother has been in several times to get the hearing aids fixed, the standard reply for them was that they had wax in them and needed to be cleaned, and when she got them back, they worked for a few days. Since January 2021, I have taken her in 4 times to have them repaired, and once for a hearing test to see if they need to be re-programmed, today we went back in because one of her hearing aids wouldn't work again. They person in the front office behind the counter took the hearing aid in back and came back and stated that they needed to replace the wire in it, that it would be $79 for the wire. They didn't come out before changing it to say what was wrong, they just replaced it. The wire is only warrantied for a year after purchase, according to them and stated that she had signed a paper stating that. While we were talking to her, the manager Nicole came our from the back and said that was all explained in the paperwork, comparing their work to having work done on a car, that you have to pay for it, they said that if we didn't want to pay for it that they would put the old wire back on. When my Mom had hearing aids from Costco, they always fixed them, the only reason she got new ones is because the old ones finally wore out. Nicole's response was "well, then why don't you go back to where you bought the old ones...". I paid the cost of the wire, but the hearing aids warranty will expire next month, so I guess that we will have to shop elsewhere for new ones. We did research before buying these hearing aids, because they were made in Arizona we went to them, instead of Miracle Ear because they were made in Minnesota, turn around time if one of them breaks is important. If you are looking for a hearing aid, go anywhere else than Zounds, unless you like being treated badly and have hearing aids that need repair often!

Pay the 50 dollar copay and the appointment was a waste of time. Not only did they not even bother to scope him to see if there was a problem after hes has had radiation to the sinus area once before but no. they just looked up his no scope, prescribed nasal spray that he is already on that does not work. They did nothing that his pcp hadn't already done. So what is the point of a specialist. The provider wasn't interested in helping him, they rushed thru the initial appointment like it was a follow up. They should be ashamed to call themselves specialist in their field. I will be filing a grievance with my insurance. And so should everyone else that is on here leaving the same review. Obviously, they dont care about their patients.
