This was the strangest dental experience I've ever had. The dentist was incredibly rude and her communication skills/bedside manner need serious help. If you can go anywhere else, you should. There are tons of dentists in Lagrange, no reason to go where you aren't treated well. read more

Horrible experience with this dentist. Came in with extreme pain, needing an extraction when I made the appointment. When I got there they charged me for X-rays and then told me I needed to wait for a month for a dentist who handles the extraction to come in from out of town, but could, however, do a root canal right away for $2.700. When I asked for pain meds in the interim they said they only do OTC ibuprofen. I left in pain. I had waited 3 days for this appointment and needed to start over at another local dentist, adding 3 more days in pain. Still getting bills for the X-rays. read more

I just got off the phone with this office in LaGrange. My husband is a 100% T&P Vietnam Veteran with no other insurance. The VA has discontinued dental services near us with no known reinstatement date due to the Covid problem. His top plate is broken. This being said...they refused to give a discount if paid in full at time of service and Choice One Dental of LaGrange has no discount programs available for Veterans. With everything explained to them I was told he would have to pay full price at the time of the visit. Thank you for your service Veterans and Welcome home. read more

Where to start - went to this office due to being in our dental network and was tired of driving the hour to Newnan and there was some new work that I needed on my front teeth - implants and bla bla. I must preface this with I have a mouthful of crowns and bridgework, wife has wonderful teeth. Our first visit many bite adjustment were made that after a few months I began to notice much wear on my bottom partial, where I've worn this partial for about 6 years without issues--cleaning was very lacking in our opinion and the checkup by the actual dentist was only about 2-3 minutes long - not very thorough. Now for some visit review: Wife had some slight cosmetic work done on her front from another dentist and she (dentist) convinced her (my wife) to have it redone but was told after the work it would only last about a year or so when she went back for some smoothing of it as it was rough to the tongue. But about $598 in not a yearly expense we wish to take on as my wife's previous work has lasted estimated 17 years.. Also told they would file this to insurance as 2 filling and the charge would be $181 however was informed no differently upon the visit - upon exiting the bill was $598. Was informed it was cosmetic work and insurance wouldn't pay for it. Regarding the payments mentioned above- we learned, approx 2 months later, it was filed on our insurance and they had both ours and the insurances payments. They stated they had a process that checks for this and guess this one slipped by. We found it during our insurance claims checks and did request and receive the double billed over payment back. Glad we caught it.. Now for me: Previous dentist noticed in x-rays some root trouble on one of my front 4 tooth bridge work and a separation was needed to do an implant. As mentioned earlier the drive to newnan was getting old (hour away) and went with this office. Her initial visit after separating the bridge and looking underneath said there was enough of the old structure to put in a new crown - a grand later the crown had to be recemented in about 3 times, i carried temp cement about everywhere I'd go. Last time she put it back she said, guess this time i'll use the good bonding agent. Within 6 monts was determined this wasn't going to last so time to extract and implant - which is what my old dentist said. But she convinced me just as she did my wife to have the work done... After extraction a "flipper partial" for this one void was made by a lab but when it came back the tooth was about 2mm low on the device, leaving a low hanging tooth and a large void at the gum. I had already decided, at this point, she wasn't going to be involved with an implant and informed their office manager that this was gonna be a temporarily permanent thing I would wear, i've worn 'em before with no issues. I asked if this could be remade and for some reason it was ordered in another shade so when it came back it was darker and fit so horribly it was unwearable. I spoke with the office manage many times regarding all this and truly felt they should go back to the lab to have it made correctly but never went anywhere. There fix was to add material to fill the mentioned void and it's bright white where the reset of the tooth is properly shaded. So now I have a front tooth that is terribly not shaded correctly, so now I don't smile., After much research have determined that money is IMO their main objective, as this appears to be the case with many coorporate owned facilities. I'm glad to report we no longer go to them, and have found a private practice dentist that is more in touch with their patients. UPDATE:On 3/10/16 I received a collection letter as the first item mentioned above which happened in April of 2015. They never billed us on this, called to say we owed it and thought very poor business practices, adding this to the double billing. We've had visits since April 15 and nothing was ever said, we ended the business relationship first of Feb 2016. When calling about this the last billing notice that was required outside of insurance coverage was in April of 2015 per office staff. 3/14/16 - Had a meeting with office manager and they were unable to show me where the above charge was from, they closed the account and wrote off the 39.88 that was sent to collection. Was actually found they owe us money from that visit in April 2015. read more

Great job, Dr.Salter started with removing my teeth an a bridge which had started to decade. Her experiences with helping her patients through the pain was really comfortable. She put her devoted time in doing a wonderful job of insurance you that everything is going good as she remove the teeth. It was done so fast I can say that I really had no pain. read more

oVER $4000 worth of work done and the upper denture that was made different from my old because Dr. Salter thought it would be better.....cannot be worn...it absolutely does not fit my mouth.....she messed up on this one, but so far have not gotten a refund on it. This $1400 for this appliance came out of my pocket. I have been back and forth with them for over a year now.....still can't wear the denture. Talked with the office manager and now he won't call me back. Wrote on FB page and a nice person called me and said she would talk to Dr. Salter about remaking the appliaance and she would call me on Monday....that was 4 weeks ago. They just ignore you and will not work with you.....Another dentist told me this denture would never be adjusted enough to fit my mouth......I can't afford to just give away 1400.00. I am thinking about taking legal action.....Cindy is a great hygenist though. read more
